Excellent value for money. Warm welcome, extremely clean, and great location along with plenty of parking.
Fans outside were a little noisy but certainly didn't interupt my sleep.

The property itself is actually stunning the fact there is grounds within you can walk your dog etc makes this more immaculate. To being greater by the loveliest receptionist ever made this stay 10+ blonde haired woman was the kindest soul ever. Honestly we ended up staying an extra night and she actually remembered us from the night before it’s the little things and she really goes above and beyond with them. I highly recommend this property we stayed at 4 others this same week and came back here to extend our trip we enjoyed it so much.

The room was just what we needed. The staff were friendly.we enjoyed our breakfast.
The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable.
Can I suggest a bath mat to stand on outside of the bath?

When we finally moved rooms
The hotel had a dance competition on so check in took over an hour, which was the start of an awful experience.
We were put in a room which was like a basement room far from the room we had stayed in before. The room had a broken bed odd furniture, curtains hanging off as not enough curtain hooks. The only nice thing was the bathroom although not very clean. But the smell was horrific, a strong smell of cigarettes, I went straight back up to reception to ask to change rooms to which I was told the hotel was fully booked.
The hotel was over run with dancers running and dancing everywhere. We decided to just go out and hope that when we got back there may be a room available. After coming back in the evening we asked again and where told no rooms were free until the following day. We went straight to the awful room and tried to get some sleep, me and my wife had virtually no sleep the bed was so uncomfortable and the smell was horid.
We both showered and put all our belongings back in our bags and went to breakfast, we were not spending another minute in that room. After breakfast we went back to reception and they told us a room had been available all night that someone didn't turn up for. They moved us, but the whole experience hadn't been the nice relaxing few days we had wanted. We left straight after breakfast on Friday morning.
I don't think we will stay there again, as we weren't part of the dance group I think we should of been informed by the hotel prior to arriving that this event was scheduled. Me and my wife could of changed our days as we were both off work all week, but we weren't given the chance.

Location was useful for a weekend trip to Newcastle.
To be fair to staff, when issues where raised then a refund was issued
Dirty, worn out, VERY tired. Place needs a refresh and makeover and you get the impression the staff know it. Photos NOT representative of the rooms. Our room was dirty(mess from previous guests sanitary products all over bins, dust on every surface, very suspicious stains on all furniture, curtains hanging off, chairs both ripped, shower head hanging off, toilet not working, no air con but a fan in room). THREE requests to clean it, and it was still messy, and they resolved the issues with decor by flipping the pillows, showing even bigger rips and tears(wish I was joking). Raised with reception who told me they where full and if I didn't want to stay they could issue a refund for nights I hadn't used. Spoke to manager who offered a half refund and free breakfast, avoid the breakfast!!! If your overnighting before a flight then it's fine, if you want an actual 4* then this is not the place for you

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable, plenty of tea/coffee etc in room..Breakfast was very nice, hot and lots of choice. Staff everywhere were friendly and nothing was too much trouble,Spa was clean, though air in changing rooms made it chilly when changing.😀
1 lift out of action our whole stay,as we were on 4th floor it was a pain..
Been staying at Gosforth park since I was a child (55 now) and this visit we had to pay to use the Pool/ leisure area..not expensive £5 adult,£2 per child but still extra expense! Lounge area has been renovated, rest of Hotel needs Upgrading but we know its a future project and hope to be back to see

The shower pressure was very weak. Not enough power sockets in each room.

The swimming pool.
Check out the photo. You would think that the management would clean things up occasionally and get a window-cleaner in from time to time.

Location was good for where I was heading on to
The room was the smallest I have stayed in. I stayed in same hotel a couple of weeks previous amd room was 3 times the size for same price.
Would never go back. It was so small you couldn't even move
3.0
The beds in the rooms were comfortable and the surrounding area the hotel was in, was very nice.
The staff were helpful, but the rooms were not great.
The hotel rooms have not been changed since the 1970s at least.
Broken fan in the room, the shower didn't drain, the phone was broken.
The cards for the hotel rooms constantly demagnetise I had to take at least 4 trips to get back to reception to reset my card.

Location was good
Room was miles away and was small, corridors were dingy, external light shone directly into our window and the mattress was so bad we could feel every single spring. We paid a supplement for early entry which put the price up by £20 which I was happy to pay. However this meant the overall cost was extortionate for the quality when we got to the room
9.0
Very comfortable. Awesome room service menu, if you arrived late and didn't have time to eat out you would not be disappointed. The bathroom was huge and the tub was amazing as was the shower. Pleasantly surprised to find a steam iron and trouser press in the room, both were made use of. Another surprise was that it was pet friendly with folks taking their dogs for walks in the woods in which the property is set. The fitness centre was in full use in the morning and the view from a very powerful jacuzzi overlooking the woods has to be seen as words just don't do it justice. The staff were incredible, definitely my first choice next time I am in Newcastle.
The hotel is in need of an upgrade in the rooms, and the lifts .The carpets have been upgraded it's the fixtures that need updating but cost could be eye watering. However that said it's an amazing location with great facilities and deserves to succeed it would be a real shame if it didn't

It was very comfortable.

Breakfast was gold.

Atmosfären. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra för stora sällskap då det finns mycket utrymme.
Frukosten var ok men kunde varit bättre med tanke på hotellets standard i övrigt.

The staff were polite. The breakfast was nice.
I booked this trip for me and my daughter and specifically wanted a few hours in the pool after our shopping trip however, upon arrival we were told it closed at 4pm which was obviously a huge disappointment. I was not even notified by email. Another thing was the room was very small and bed very uncomfortable. There was also a smell of damp in the corridor.

Excellent value for money. Clean and comfortable rooms. Short Uber ride into central Newcastle. Staff were accommodating to small changes to our booking. We enjoyed the Starbucks breakfast deal available in the cafe area.
