The property is very well designed in a unique style of Israelian constructivism of 1968. It has an impressive art collection. The nature around is fascinating.
The service was surprisingly bad even for Israel, where we are used to expecting 3-star service in a five-star hotel. First of all, the art collection tour was unavailable because “the only woman who does it was on vacation”, and there was no information in English about the art collection whatsoever. Why not make an audio tour? It is not 1968 anymore.
The waiter in a restaurant tried to convince us that still wine was sparkling.
They didn't clean the area around the swimming pool.
The bartender was not familiar with the concept of still water. I quote, “Just say water if you want water.” The service was not bad. The staff was friendly in a way. It was just like they never had any training. Like in the “Lord of the Flies” novel, it seemed like the staff just appeared on the property on an island and started to run it like they wanted.
Although the chef was really good and the buffet was one the best I have ever experienced in my life.

The security deposit of 500ILS. I was expecting to be unlocked at check-out which didn't happen.

Nice peaceful getaway
We ended up staying an extra night & loved our room but they claimed they had to move around rooms

Room with the view was nice. Grounds were well kept.
There was a technical issue with the shower leaking making the floor wet all Shabbat. The main issue, however, was the level of Shabbat observance with the guests and staff. This is not for Charedim as there is no Shabbat atmosphere. Piped music was playing at the beginning of Shabbat, which wasn't turned off until after the commencement of Shabbat and there is also a rather grotesque statue across the room from the prayer room which detracted from the prayers.
Even though the grounds and rooms of the Hotel are very pleasant, nothing matches the Holy Atmosphere of full Shabbat observance with guests and staff.

Window was broken when arrived, we had to wait half an hour until someone fixed it, very difficult to access the room with a baby stroller.... I'm tall and touched the ceiling of the bathroom with my head ... Not really pleasant for the price you pay, hotels in Israel are very expensive and they have a lot more to do - can't believe this hotel has 5 stars......

Amazing experience! Beautiful hotel, wonderful view, very clean, the art is fascinating (the tour of the place, gallery and pictures was phenomenal). Great breakfast! And most importantly, the staff were amazing! So kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay great!
The mattress was too soft in my opinion

the breakfast was great. large array of choices and beautifully presented. the dining room staff was outstanding and extremely helpful.
enjoyed the location and walked to the museums and midrachov.
the hotel tour was exceptional.
i'll start with you booking.com.
the price we paid was significantly more booking through you.
there are all sorts of discounts in february and we were not aware of any through you.
i would contact hotel or wherever i'm going directly in the future.
that was our biggest disappointment and i'm not left with a good feeling re booking.com.
as far as the hotel, all was basically good. the spa was not. it wasn't pretty or relaxing space. the first day we went to the pool we thought we'd relax there and read but instead swam and went right upstairs. not pleasant atmosphere.
the manager went out of her way to help us with an issue that came up and resolved it in a very lovely manner.

the rooms, the art, the grounds
we booked half board, but the dining room was closed on the Saturday night, as tourists we didn’t have a car & couldn’t get to town to eat dinner! the alternative at the cafe was very limited & there were no taxis operating in the area!
