About this cabin rental
We invite you to enjoy our fabulous cabin on 7 acres of wooded land that is only 1 mile from Ricketts Glen State Park. The location cannot be beat, and the activities are endless!
This cabin is located 1 mile from the trail head of Ricketts Glen State Park Falls Trail - home to 22 gorgeous waterfalls. The cabin is also in close proximity to Lake Jean - where you can rent a kayak/canoe, go to the sandy beach of the lake, swim, fish, or ice skate!
The possibilities are endless!!!
This all-wood cabin is rustic yet has all modern amenities - air conditioning, internet, DISH TV, fully stocked kitchen (utensils, place settings, glasses, cooking utensils, pots/pans), indoor gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit and park style charcoal grill. There is also a large deck for outdoor living space! The kitchen was newly remodeled too!!
Come make yourself at home and enjoy your time!
Note -
There are landscape ponds on the property. Caution should be taken near water with children.
A high chair and pack and play are also available for use.
Linens - Sheets and Towels provided for an additional fee - upon request.
Firewood is not provided but is sold nearby.
Please purchase firewood nearby for the firepit. Due to lantern fly infestations in other parts of PA, we prefer you do not bring firewood from outside the area.

*Check-in/out times may be adjusted with prior approval. If check-out is later than 11am, not previously approved, and affects another reservation part of the security deposit may be withheld.
When staying between Nov - April some snow accumulation should be anticipated in the area. A FWD, AWD, or 4WD vehicle is best for these conditions - as driveways and roadways may have some snow cover.
We encourage all of our guests to purchase travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances and cancellations.

Negatives septic Gas coming up in bathrooms Furniture is not same as listed no nice recliner. Pictures are outdated. Loud road noise. Hot upstairs and charges extra to put sheets on the bed. Positive well equipped kitchen. Good location for waterfall hikes. Pretty cabin overall.

The cabin was very cute and clean. The location is perfect if you want to visit Ricketts Glenn for hiking. Only issue was it is much closer to a road than anticipated, so traffic is definitely heard in the mornings. Our wifi did not work and we were unable to find the router to reset as the instruction book said that was left on the counter.
Last, there was a loud vibrating sound that woke us up in the morning

Was just looking for a nice weekend getaway and this place was perfect! I loved everything about this cabin. We will definitely be back, hopefully with the kids!

We only had one short night at this cabin and it was not long enough! It's extremely cute and well kept and has everything you need. Plenty of space for multiple people although it was just the two of us and felt perfect. The fire pit is amazing we were out there all night. Extremely close to Ricketts Glen which is why we were there so it was incredibly convenient. We'd love to come back again! Hosts are very communicative and we're very helpful.

The cabin was fine with two exceptions.
The traffic noise was a real problem for us.
Also the kitchen area was just too dark. Some under cabinet lighting could provide an inexpensive and easily installed solution.

We booked this cabin for family to stay for graduation. The cabin was perfect and family from out of state enjoyed their stay there. Very clean and owner is extremely responsive with any questions. We had a wonderful time with family we have not seen in years. Thanks!

Private, quiet, and relaxing. This property was an amazing backdrop for our anniversary. We were able to relax by the fire, have access to amazing food options, and hike at nearby Ricketts Glen State Park. All the amenities made it easy to get comfortable and the availability of firewood was extremely convenient, especially since it rained while we were there. Would definitely stay here again, even if it's just for a small getaway from everyday life.

This cabin set back off the road is super cute. The kitchen is great, plenty of space and the upstairs bedrooms are adorable. We loved our little getaway so we could explore Ricketts Glen.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is so comfortable with everything you need. The location is perfect for walking the Falls Trail and is close to the Ricketts Glen Hotel which we ate at and were very pleased.

**Beware of Hidden Charges and Unreliable Amenities**
We recently stayed at this cabin for one night, and our experience was marred by some concerning issues. The host attempted to charge us extra for cleaning and pushed a firewood package that turned out to be unusable due to excessive moisture. After departing, we received a message indicating an additional $115 charge for cleaning and unused firewood. This dishonest approach leaves us wary and disappointed, and we advise future guests to stay vigilant about potential hidden fees and questionable amenities.

This is a lovely bucolic setting close to Rickett’s Glen, which is absolutely one of Pennsylvania’s national treasures. The cabin is lovely, cozy and well-maintained.

Our trip and stay was fantastic! This house is great, exactly as advertised.
Really nice up-to-date kitchen, spacious sleeping arrangements, and lovely porches. I communicated with the host because we had some very heavy rain while we were there and they responded quickly and helpfully.
We had small children with us and it was very easy to baby-proof with a small baby fence we brought- made our stay safe and fun for all! We brought most of our baby gear but there was a pack-n-play and highchair at the house- super thoughtful!
We had fun hiking the falls, playing at the lake beach, and stopping at wineries despite the rain. Excellent, will return! Thank you!

The cabin was not well cleaned especially floors. Linens and towels are for rent feels being nickled and dimed. Not well sound proofed and near major road. Beds uncomfortable and noisy.

This property is exactly what we were looking for. Extremely close to Ricketts Glen State Park trails. The Cabin is Clean, Cozy and Comfortable with plenty of space for a family. The hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. We look forward to booking this cabin again in the Future!

We had a wonderful stay. Cabin was well equipped with everything we needed plus a few extras we were not expecting.
Close to Ricketts Glen State Park and The Falls Trail. Also close to Grocery stores and eateries.
Only complaint was highway noise (Route 118) but by the end of the week we barely heard it.

Jess was great at communicating and responding to questions. The property was in a perfect location for our plans in the Benton area. It's fish theme went great with our fly fishing experience! The cabin was clean and stocked well with most things you would need. Hopefully we will be back!

The cabin was beautiful and the trails at Ricketts Glen was just a 10 minute ride up the road. Perfect time of year to see the falls. The owner was very responsive anytime I had questions.

A fantastic location on our way home from the Boston Marathon. The park is one of the best we have ever visited. The hills were a challenge two days after Boston but they were certainly doable.
