It was great!

The cabin was a perfect size for our hiking getaway. Close to Ricketts Glen state park with amazing waterfalls. And not too far from Worlds End state park, which has a little bit more challenging rustic hikes. Cabin was clean & had all the essentials for our week. Perfect

This is a very nice place to stay if you're spending extended time at Ricketts Glen. The location is great, hidden away off the main road but still easily accessible. It's very well-supplied; we had everything we needed. We loved the screened back porch and the hammock, and the grill came in handy. Jessica made sure we were taken care of. We highly recommend it!

Very nice cabin. Private, clean and spacious. Lots of extra amenities. Easy to check in and contact the owners if you need to. Close to the park and everything you need is nearby.

Great little getaway! Location was perfect. Cabin was clean and cool (we were there during a heat wave). Would recommend!

My partner and I had a great quick getaway at the cabin. We had everything we needed to make meals, rest, and relax. The setting was so lovely. We spent our evenings out on the porch listening to the birds and the stream running in the back. There were no issues, and when I needed a bit of check-out information, Jess responded straightaway. We hope to be back, and maybe with the family in tow.

Ricketts Creekside cabin was exemplary! Its bucolic setting was perfect for a relaxing, fun getaway. This time away from work, clients, sports practices, screens etc. was a great idea for an 8th grade graduation gift for my son and his best friend. Time spent creek walking, hiking at the state park, reading amongst the trees, sitting around the camp fire, and playing board games was amazing. The cabin itself was neat, clean, and well appointed. The fawn, frogs, chipmunks, birds were all very welcoming! The host was communicative, friendly, and provided an abundance of information to make our stay comfortable and complete. An A+ experience all around!

We had a great stay, it was very clean, perfect size for 4 people. We enjoyed the screen room the most, the creek area is really cute too. We would stay again.

This cabin is well maintained and perfectly located for enjoying Ricketts Glen. If you plan to bring your own food, don't worry about cooking in this kitchen -- it's well equipped and clean. This place is a gem.

I travelled with my mother to hike the Falls Trail at Rickett’s Glen, and we wanted to be comfortable in our downtime. This place was perfect. It’s just a few minutes to the park itself, and the parking lot at the bottom of the trail is right down the road. There is a 90% chance you’ll miss the driveway the first time, even if you read a review warning you the driveway is easy to miss, lol. This is not a complaint! Even though the cabin is close to the road, it’s completely tucked away and private. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the furnishings were very nice. I loved the pulls on the fan. Bathroom is adorable and I was surprised to see a medicine cabinet stocked with basic needs like bandaids, q-tips, shampoo, etc. In my experience, most hosts are less generous. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again if we decide to tackle the Falls Trail again.

Rental was easy to find, clean and well equipped. Nice location for visiting Ricketts Glenn. Some highway noise but nothing to great. Rental is not very large but is adequate for 2-4 people. Stairs to the upper bedroom if it is used may be an issue for someone with mobility problems. We needed heating and the control of the temp is accomplished by individual heaters and a main room large heater so you need to adjust each room. Property is beautiful with the creek just out the back door. Nice porch to view the creek and forest. Host was a great communicator.

It was a very nice stay and we’d definitely stay again. Place is very clean, comfortable and modern amenities. Check-in was easy and Jessica communicated with us after 1st night to check on us. I’d recommend this cottage to everyone.

If you’re looking for a cozy little cabin, I highly recommend this wonderful place. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway. This cabin has everything you need to include extra toiletries. You are 10 min at most from the Ricketts Glen waterfalls and close to places to grab a bite to eat. I didn’t want to leave! Thank you for letting us stay here!

Loved the house, my family and I enjoyed the area. Will def consider again

Instead of staying all the way in Wilkes-Barre at a hotel when visiting my sister for the family cookie weekend, we found this gem just 7 minutes away! We appreciated the location, very serene. It was a tad difficult to turn off into the driveway from 118 as the signs are small. Something different and/or reflective would help. Would stay here again.

The place is nice and very close to Ricketts Glen State Park which is amazing with over19 waterfalls. The kitchen
oven was filthy we had to use it for our dinner. They do have a gas grill The place has some nice homey touches however the kitchen needs a total upgrade including replacing some of the pans We also had problems with the heat
The place is better suited for warmer weather retreats. The host was helpful.

The four of us very much enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Cabin. The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for us to gather together along with space to be alone.
Being close to Ricketts Glen SP was very nice, hiking the trails and the waterfalls was a treat. And the great restaurant suggestion Jessica gave us for our anniversary dinner at Jonathan’s was perfect.
We look forward to a return stay.

If you're planning to explore Ricketts Glen, this is the perfect place to stay. Great location, comfortable, and so very clean! Communication with Jessica could not have been better.

My wife and I loved our stay at the Creekside Cabin. We appreciated the renovations. The location was amazing and we really enjoyed hiking the Falls Trail at Ricketts Glenn State Park. We also enjoyed going to Rutherford's Village Farm Market and Antiques in Benton and getting lost in their 5 acre corn maize! The only reason I didn't rate the property a 5 star is because there was no Wi-Fi. It was very difficult to get Cellular service since it's pretty remote. We found that if you went upstairs to the cabin's 2nd floor you could generally get a signal rather than "SOS". We understand Wi-Fi is coming but it's not available yet.

We had an absolute amazing stay at the cabin! It was adorable and so accommodating. Jessica was so kind and quick with responding. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay!!..We were looking to get away and relax for a few days and relax we definitely did. We stayed at the property the entire time and spent most of the time on the screened in back porch playing cards and games and enjoying the view❤️..the TV channel option was great and cell service was great as well. I had 5G the whole time and no need to even connect to any kind of WiFi . The cabin was very clean and the kitchen amenities were even better than I expected. Everything you could need was there. The beds and pillows were comfy as well. Only thing if you are planning to spend most of your time at the cabin like we did, the living room furniture is a little stiff but that is not even a complaint. Hoping to visit again in the future!!

First impression, was the house looked freshly updated! The stocked kitchen was great and the bed was comfortable. The property was amazing and we loved exploring the stream and also sitting by the huge fire pit. The house was really close to Ricketts Glen State Park. The owners were extremely responsive and addressed any questions or needs we had. We will definitely return in the future.

We stayed there for one night before a nearby event. There is a good bit of road noise, but not too noticable inside. Great screened in porch, hammock and fire pit. Nice and clean. We would stay again.

Perfect for a quick getaway to explore the falls at Ricketts Glen Park, quiet and secluded. Cabin had everything need for your stay, nicely updated and decorated. Would definitely recommend!
