I was charged $210 for an Additional Guest, this was brought to owners attention, but nothing has been resolved.

Make sure to buy soap before you come. Most places accept US credit cards and well as US dollars (Though they give you change in Bahama dollars).
They are pretty responsive to requests.

The place is very nice and clean. Great place for any visitors. Julie is very helpful and always there if you need anything. Thank you Julie!

We had a great time and Julie is so nice and helpfull

It was a cozy place to stay. Within walking distance of Adastra and the fish fry. If you don't mind a 25 minute walk, you can walk to downtown Nassau. There's a small grocery store around the corner. Julie and her family were amazing. Super responsive to any questions and helpful when coordinating activities. We would definitely stay here again.

A good find given the purpose of our trip

The property is located in an area that makes it very accessible to near by scenic attractions. Less than quater mile walk to fish fry. Site is also close to the zoo, bontanical ( this is currently close for renovation), downtown and other attractions. You can literally take the bus everywhere you need to go. Taxi is always an option, fare varies (barter), bus only $1.25. There are 2 rooms with a roll out bed available. Kitchen with little amenities. Owner willing to take you shopping and yes, she does provide a ride from the airport.
My only complaint was issues with A/C. Each room and living had a unit, but you are not allowed to run the A/C in the living and main bedroom at the same time, due fo needing electrical upgrade, which leaves one area practically inaccessible and hot when decide to sleep in late. But we are always on the go until late night. So I will leave A/C on the living room when out and turn off the one in main room. I was travelling with 4 kids and this was sometimes difficult. The owner was willing to get me a fan which helped cool the living room at night. Currently in Nassau, due to increase power surge, each day customer's power is shut off for abt 2-4hrs (time varies) which means no A/C or internet. Kids did not like this. But found out customer at Atlantis loss power and ran out of water. So considering all things, we did well staying at the villa. Issue with A/C need fixing and possible a back up generator as this power surge will run until Oct.

If you're looking for a place with easy access to great food and activities, this is it! We had a wonderful time staying at this house, and our host Julie was great. It was an easy walk to the famous Bahamas Fish Fry and the beautiful botanical gardens. My group rented a car to get around, but was pleasantly surprised when we were told a taxi ride from the airport was included as part of our stay. If you are looking for relaxation, a local beach was about 4 minutes away. Overall a great trip and we will definitely be coming back to stay with Julie.

Cozy and clean place with all the amenities. Small grocery store around the corner. Several great restaurants and a beach less than 10 min walk. Julie herself gave us a ride to the house and was very responsive to our messages. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were very happy to have the owner, Julie, arrange airport pickup, as well as Julie herself, bringing us to the Fresh Market grocery store that evening. (I would recommend taking advantage of this, if you are not renting a car. Buy what you need for the time that you are here).
Get water, TP, paper towel, soap, (kitchen and bathroom), and whatever you need for snacks, etc. We got the big water jugs, get the red cap water, (no salt in it), and used about 3 of them in
12 days.
We chose to cook a lot, to save costs and time, (more beach time is wonderful for us), and Julie has all amenities needed for this. We packed a beach lunch daily, plus ate breakfast and some dinners here.
We took buses for $1.25 each, or slightly higher for further away beaches, and we would highly recommend this.
The bus stop is a 5-8 minute walk, down by the Fish Fry Restaurants,(don't let this name fool you, there are lots of restaurants with good healthier food too there. We enjoyed Twin Brothers).
Wait at the bus stop on the L of this Road, (Dunmore/Chippingham), to go West of town, or the one R of this condo road, opposite side of the road, to go into down town Nassau, East of town.
We went to 8 different beaches while here, and loved them all.
Our favorite ones were Cabbage, on Paradise Island, (we took Matthew, Julie's recommendation for a cab driver there. Plan on $50-$100 for cab trips most places).
We loved the Pink Octopus Restaurant for a healthier eating experience. Plan on at least 2 hours there. Luciano's is also an excellent restaurant!
We also loved Clifton Heritage Park and had an amazing day there. Try the BBQ, pork and chicken one.
If you take a bus to further places like Clifton, plan with the bus driver to pick you up at a certain time.
The park closes at 4, but they do have security available after to call a cab for you if needed.
Have a good cab number. We used Matthew and felt he was honest and knowledgable.
Try to connect with the locals, both walking in this area, as well as on the bus. They love it, and it's a way to learn about their Island.
We loved the Ardasta Zoo close by, great for children, but anyone really.
Go for the Flamingo Show and enjoy the beautiful foliage.
Julie made our stay perfect, by providing linen and towel change for the longer stay.
We would stay again here, or at another location with Julie, as she is the best for good service, a clean place to stay, and very reliable contact during our stay.

Loved the house and the value. Julie was great and the place was exactly what we were looking for while we stayed in Nassau. Thanks for helping us have a great time!

Stayed here for six nights. Location is perfect. Easy walking distance to Nassau and all it offers. #10 bus to town and Cable Beach minutes walk. Junkanoo beach a few minutes walk. Cricket ground with good food and a game on Sunday again mins walk. Fish fry also an easy stroll.
Home itself Bahaman style well maintained and extemely clean with all the amenties .
Julie was very accomodating : arranged a pick up and drop off at the airport plus a trip to the supermarket en route which was very welcome as there are none in the local area.
All in all a friendly affordable Bahamian accommodation that we highly recommend.

Another couple, along with my wife and I spent 9 days and had a wonderful time! The location of Julie’s villa apartment is excellent! The Fish Fry, beaches, and downtown are just a few minutes away.
Julie’s driver met us at the airport when we arrived and we used his cab service for our entire stay. He was personable, reliable and generously shared many interesting facts about the history and culture of The Bahamas.
Julie was a wonderful host. She called to see if we required anything and when we did was quick to respond. We had the opportunity to meet some of Julie’s family who live in the same complex. They too were wonderful hosts.
Great vacation!

The property was in a great locale close to the fish fry and we felt very safe to walk back and forth in the area. Groceries are very expensive in Nassau, it was fabulous to have Julie drive us to the market for a trip to stock up our first day to help us out! Our family of 4 was very comfortable in the suite and the only thing we really missed was somewhere to sit outside each morning With a bit more space. We would recommend this rental for sure!

Julie is an amazing host and her villa apartment was exactly what we needed! The location is amazing - just a five minute walk to all the restaurants at the fish fry, and 7 minutes to Junkanoo beach. There are some beautiful smaller beaches just a short walk in the other direction (away from downtown, towards Cable beach) as well. Julie had a driver meet us at the airport to make sure we arrived safely, and she also took us out to get some groceries on our first night. Anything else we needed was easily accessible - nearby corner stores for water, and a fruit and veggie stand on the corner by the fish fry.
The unit was very clean, and there were even some basic kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, seasoning, sugar, oil) in the cupboard. Wi-fi was a good speed - which was perfect to be able to keep up with the occasional work email, or even to watch Netflix on the one rainy night we had during our stay.
Julie was very easy to get in touch with, and very responsive to all our questions :)
We had an amazing time and can't wait to return!

We stayed in Julie's condo in March 2015 and it met our needs very well. Its location gave us easy access to points of interest, it was comfortable to stay in and Julie went out of her way to be kind and helpful. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Fish fry is also 5 minutes walk from Julie Apartment , there are a lot of nice restaurants with tipical caribean atmosphare , i have never eaten so delicious lobster or shrimps . Juile is the BEST, she is your personal entertainment, tour and dinning guide, her place meets and exceeds expectations for cleanliness and requirements for a short/ extended stay. If I didn't have to go back to work my husband and I would have stayed for as long as she would have us. Julie along with her fellow Bahamians made our 15 night stay on the island the best holiday we have ever experienced. I would highly recomment this suite for anyone and for any amount of time.

We wanted to stay away from large resorts and explore the local area. Julie's villa is in exactly the right spot for walking into Nassau, enjoying Fish Fry, the zoo, the cricket club for games and food, catching a bus to any area and just feeling more at home and relaxed. She and her family are great hosts. We had 5 nights at the villa and wish we could have spent longer. If we get the opportunity to return to Nassau we will book with Julie again. Thank you and your family Julie.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this villa! Julie is so considerate and goes out of her way to help her visitors in any way she can. The apt. is exceptionally clean and very well equiped. The pictures in this listing are exactly what the apt. looks like. We enjoyed staying in a residiential area rather than the expensive hotels, and were able to make friends there who are all very wonderful people. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to get a true look of what Nassau is. We enjoyed the Fish Fry area, the Aradastra Zoo right down the block, and Fort Charlotte, as well as the beaches, the Straw Market and downtown. I would love to stay at this property again.

We had a FANTASTIC time in Nassau/Bahamas and Julie couldn't have been a better hostess!
The location was convenient, the villa was modest, yet very clean, and we were treated as honored guests. Julie, the owner, and Cheryl, the Cab Driver who picked us up and dropped us off, with their personal service made our stay wonderful. We arrived on Friday night, and a good portion of the island was out of power...no lights, but mostly no AC! It was HOT, and Julie personally took us to a nice local restaurant in the downtown area, where there was power, and had arranged a hotel for us if the power hadn't returned. But, thankfully, it went back on shortly after dinner and we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. The next day Julie again took us personally to a local market and any other store that we might have needed, giving us a nice tour of the city along the way. She really went above and beyond to make us feel great about our stay.
A few tips...definitely see Arawak Cay, the local area for great food and drink, only about a 10 minute walk. It's great fun, and awesome foods like Conch salad, and amazing Grilled Grouper abound. Also, try the Cricket Club, for really well-priced meals and good, stiff drinks! Tour the Fort, it's an interesting piece of history, again not far from the Villa. We travelled with our 2 teenage daughters, and they really enjoyed the stay as well, and didn't mind the short walks everywhere.
Overall we felt this was a great experience, a great value for our family, and we really enjoyed all the personal service. We will definitely stay again if Nassau is in our travel plans!

Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your Villa , it was wonderful. A "home" away from home that was clean, well equipped, and in a great location.
