Landscaping was gorgeous. The pool should be pictured! It was great. Had 10 people there and it didn't feel crowded at all. Beautiful hang out spot very close to downtown.

The Luckyfam casa was absolutely lovely! We had a great time. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of great hangout spots throughout the property, it was a convenient walk to town (although be warned it does involve a significant hill). And to give an update on some of the previous reviews, there was no longer construction noise, it was really quite peaceful. The outdoor showers typically had hot water. And there are vaults in each room, and each room has locks for the doors so we had no issues with stolen items. There were also plenty of filtered water jugs provided, so we didn't need any of the jugs we bought at the megamarket on our way into town. A few items of advice: (1) I would suggest that you keep your suitcases up off the floor in case of a torrential tropical storm like we had the final night! There is definitely a reason the beds are on very tall posts. And (2) stop at the Comers Mega-Market on your way into town if you plan to pick up significant groceries, as there aren't grocery stores to speak of in town. (3) Several folks in our party got struck down by Montezuma's Revenge, so definitely exercise cautionary measures around what you eat and drink while in Sayulita. There is some vegetable cleaner on hand in the kitchen that is worth using to soak your veggies for 10 minutes before rinsing with filtered water and consuming. Watch out for ice cubes, use filtered water for brushing your teeth, etc. But all-in-all I would highly recommend Casa Luckyfam! We had a ball, despite the stomach bugs. Really our only gripe was that we were expecting the cleaner to come twice during our 6-day stay. Instead the cleaner visited the second day into our 6 day stay and that was it. Given you can't flush toilet paper, and we didn't know where to empty trash, we were definitely overdue for another cleaning by the last day.

We had an amazing time at Casa LuckyFam. The house manager Nancy was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Overall, the property exceeded our expectations. The salt water pool is great and the hang out areas are perfect.

Casa Luckyfam is a lovely house, much of it open-air, and a perfect vacation rental for my wife and I, three grown kids and their partners. We chose this particular rental because it was listed as being close to town and yet quiet. Our intention was to be able to spend much of our time there. However: We arrived on a Sunday evening February 5th to find a backhoe in full operation blocking the street in front of the house. We were unable to park in the designated parking space. The next morning we were awakened early by a full-blown construction project going on right across the street, less than 20 ft. away from the property. A backhoe, jackhammers, skilsaws, delivery trucks and a crew that ranged from 2 to 15 workers all day, every day, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the 7 days that we were there. The two street-facing bedrooms had curtainless windows giving a full view to the workers on the 3rd floor of the new building (obviously this project has been in process for a while). The noise was so intense we considered trying to find another rental, but what could we find available with 8 people in the high season? We notified the owner of the conditions on Monday, and have yet to hear back from her (as of March 9, 2017). The caretaker did respond about the windows and had curtains put up. It was also not disclosed that one of the "outdoor" showers was not only outdoors but cold-water-only, an important detail when you are dealing with 8 people. As much as we liked the house, we definitely did not get the "quiet getaway" (a quote from the ad) that we paid for. On our return, we happened to notice a review of the property mentioning the construction that had been posted by a family that had stayed there in January. We hadn’t seen it previously because our travel plans had been booked and paid for long before the posting.

My family and 3 friends just returned from 5 nights at Casa LuckyFam. We really enjoyed the openness of the casa and closeness to the Sayulita. The wifi works really fast and we enjoyed sitting under the huge palapa in the evening. There are a few things you should know if you plan on renting this house. The house is split with two units with queen beds facing the roadside and two units with a queen and King on the upper floor just above the pool. The units by the roadside require you to exit your room outside to use the bathroom. This was not a huge issue, but its strange walking outside 2 times a night to use the facilities. If you have small kids this might not be something you feel comfortable. All of the rooms are decorated nicely and beds are comfortable. I found it strange that all of the rooms have very large windows with no curtains, so when the sun is up your up. There are 3 safes in the casa for a good reason. The property manager warned us that theft is very common in Sayulita and to make sure we used the safes. We actually had a break in that occurred on our third night while we where dining out. The person was probably looking for money/jewelry as they went thru my friends bags and purse. Again, nothing was taken and this is not something that only happens at this particular property. You need to lock up everything and that includes every single room or things will go missing. The people in Sayulita are super sweet and I never felt unsafe during my stay. There is some construction of a new house being built across the street. The hammers start at 8am and end at 6pm. I suspect that by March of 2017 this new house will be complete, and things will be much quieter. This a really unique property that allows for some amazing star watching at night. I also enjoyed the fact that their was no TV, so we could enjoy good conversation with our children and friends.

The property had a great feel and the pool was a perfect place to lounge before heading into town. The Casa was just the perfect distance from town to be quiet but also close enough to walk. The only thing it could use is A/C in the two lower bedrooms so all the guests could sleep equally comfortably. Other than that, everybody in our group loved the place!

The property is absolutely wonderful. The owner and house manager were both extremely helpful. The house itself is epic. A must stay is sayulita. Couldn't be more grateful.
