A truly lovely experience. The property was tucked away and very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped, the couch and mattress were supportive and comfy, and the Internet was pretty decent. We enjoyed the fireplace, and a few moments of bliss on the back porch before a giant spider built a web right in the door frame. It might be nice to have a TV in the primary bedroom and curtains on the front and back porch doors. And though they are very serviceable the bedside tables were wobbly... But that's not the biggest deal.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience staying in the Vintage Chalet. Everything was so clean and the air conditioning made is comfortable during the heat wave we had to deal with. Maude is extremely welcoming and friendly. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay.

This cute little red cottage was absolutely perfect! Location was so private and yet perfect to get around from. The stream in the back yard served as the best sound machine of pure nature and relaxation. Morning coffee listening to it was the best start to the day! We enjoyed disc golf just down the road only a couple of minutes. Checked out the new brewery Lot 6. We wanted privacy and this was everything we wanted! Maude was super helpful and responsive! I highly recommend this cottage for a restful romantic getaway!

Just perfect! The quaintness of the location, with the woods and sound of water babbling behind the chalet made us forget everything! Sitting outside having morning coffee from either deck was the perfect start to the day! A very clean, inviting home away from home! Hope to return again sometime in the fall or winter!

The chalet was just the right size for our family of 4. It had tons of charm but all the modern conveniences. Quieter than staying at the resort and so convenient to skiing. We loved our stay and would definitely go back again.

This little cabin is tucked away into a small road off of Route 108. It's very cute and provided two great sized bedrooms, one in a loft area. It was a ton of space for two people and we were able to work here with the Internet.
The fireplace was great and it, combined with a space heater, provided plenty of warmth even in the Winter. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans to cook with, the shower is pretty nice with plenty of hot water, and both beds are really comfortable.
The location is great, just a few miles from Jeffersonville and across 108 from Smuggler's Notch. We went in the Winter, so we had to drive around about 40 minutes to get to Stowe. But it was a nice pleasant drive and we stopped for coffee at Vermont Artisan Coffee & Tea each time (which we highly recommend).

We chose this property because of the wonderful reviews. It didn't disappoint. We loved the quiet area & the gas fireplace. Felt like home, very comfortable & had everything we needed.

As all the reviews state, this place is beyond cute. And it is comfortable and located in a gorgeous nook in the woods with a babbling brook right behind the house. But the customer service I received with this rental was beyond even high expectations. I could not get the gas fireplace remote to work properly; the landlord was replying to my texts in real time with more detailed instructions, and then just a few minutes later, at 7:00 in the evening on a Friday night (!) a service man stopped by to assist with my difficulties (which turned out to be a dead battery). Amazing!!!

Falling asleep to the bubbling water flowing behind the chalet was awesome. Very clean, too, my only recommendation would be to take care of the cobwebs above the sofa and in the crevasses. The kitchen was well-equipped but could use maybe some Tupperware for food storage / packing lunches for day trips for those that fly in with only carryons. Host was extremely responsive when we needed trash picked up. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed for a week in July of ‘23 to do some hiking and sightseeing. The cabin’s location was perfect for hiking in Smuggler’s Notch and eating/entertainment in Stowe. Maude was extremely responsive and accommodating to all our needs. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Would recommend to friends!

Wonderful cabin in the woods. Located very close to the dirt road, but traffic is minimal so it isnt noticed much. We loved the stream out back and being able to hear it at all times. A/C had a hard time keeping up at time, and we would have preferred some screen doors to be able to get a cross breeze in the house. All in all we would happily return.

This property was just what we were looking for for our stay near Stowe. It was set away from the crowds, yet still convenient to everything we wanted to do, nearby hiking, breweries, a short drive to the Ben and Jerry's factory. The sound of the stream behind the property was very relaxing in the evenings. And Maude was a very attentive, communicative host. I would definitely recommend this property.

This little chalet was impeccably clean and outfitted with everything we needed (but bring your own beach towels if you plan to go swimming). The owners were incredibly responsive. We loved being nestled in the woods and listening to the stream. Beds were comfy and the a/c unit did a solid job of keeping the place cool on a hot and humid week away. We are already talking about our next visit!

The chalet was perfect. Everything we needed plus gas log fireplace. Enjoyed sleeping in the loft with the river babbling below. Great scenery to wake up to and watch while eating meals.

Enjoyed our family ski get away at this charming chalet. Across the street from Smuggs, a creek running behind the property, cozy features...what more could you want?

The property is perfectly situated for enjoying the amenities of Smuggs, as well as nearby Stowe and Burlington. It was neat and tidy and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We would book again if coming to the area.

We had a great family ski weekend. The chalet was a perfect retreat for our family of four. It was a short hop to Smugglers Notch and a 45 minute drive to Stowe. We bought groceries at the local market for breakfast, and we ate lunch/dinners out at local restaurants. We appreciated all of the small things done by the owners - coffee, cleaning supplies, first aid kit, extra blankets and pillows. They had the walk shoveled and the driveway plowed after a foot of snow. Wonderful and thoughtful hosts. Best part - the fireplace!

Wonderful property 3mins from Smugglers. Super convenient, clean, everything that’s needed for a ski trip.

Amazing cabin! Very comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our holiday stay. Bigger than the pictures showed and perfect for two of us even though it could have fit another couple or kids. Maude was great and very accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would certainly go back.

This cabin was a very comfortable short term home away from home. We enjoyed touring the area including the Burlington downtown and waterfront, the beautiful University of Vermont campus, Shelburne winery and Stowe. It was a bonus the scenic 108 route to Stowe was still open this late in the season (late Oct).
The cabin was as advertised and with many modern upgrades and thoughtful conveniences. It was quiet, cozy and very clean and host Maude provided good tips on area sights and dining. No hesitation on recommending for a quiet trip enjoying the beauty of northern Vermont.

Spent our 10 year anniversary here and it was amazing! Pictures don't do the beauty of the property justice. The stream in the backyard was picturesque and provided a relaxing sound the whole time! Cabin has everything you need and was very clean! Property owners were extremely prompt and helpful with helping us stop the beeping noise from the fireplace. Only thing we found that the description said the cabin had that it didn't was AC. But overall this is a fantastic place for the money and we would definitely go back!!!

Very nice secluded place in the woods. Roomier than we anticipated, but still small and cozy. Owner is very helpful and responsive! Would definitely stay here again.
