About this house rental
This bright and luxurious 7-bedroom, 6-bathroom Isle of Palms home features an open and airy floor plan. The home was completely renovated in 2021 and is perfect for the dream beach vacation. It is centrally located and is steps away from the beach and a few blocks away from the market, local restaurants and shops on front beach.
When not relaxing beachside the home also includes a private plunge pool in the backyard with teak chairs and umbrellas for additional enjoyment. PLEASE NOTE THE POOL CANNOT BE HEATED NOVEMBER 15TH-MARCH 15TH.The home features an elevator and also has a ping pong table for additional recreation. Every bedroom in the home has a television and there are two separate living room areas one on the 2nd and one on the 3rd floor.
The home’s first floor includes two bedrooms each with queen beds and both have en-suite bathrooms which contain luxury rain showers. The second floor features a spacious, bright living room complete with a dining room which provides seating for 10+ guests. The home’s modern and fully-appointed kitchen includes stainless appliances a Keurig coffee maker. Directly off the living room is an outdoor porch which has a spiral staircase leading to the outdoor pool. Adjacent to the main living area is the Master Suite, which features a king bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom with walk in shower and large vanity with double sinks.
The third floor features four additional bedrooms. Three bedrooms feature king beds with en-suite bathrooms and the forth bedroom features a double bunk bedroom. The third floor bedrooms all surround an additional living area.
The fourth floor rooftop level features views of beautiful Isle of Palms and includes an indoor wet bar complete with sink and fridge, lounge furniture and TV.
Property offers freshly laundered duvet covers for every bed.
Pet Fee: $150 (2-3 nights) or $250 (4-7 nights). Maximum 3 dogs allowed with a non-refundable pet fee.

We had a wonderful time staying at Blue Haven. Very well accommodated home. Short walk to both the beach & downtown IOP.

We stayed here with our family and we couldn’t have been happier. All of the shops, restaurants, and grocery store are all within walking distance! The views from the rooftop deck are unlike any other and the house itself is great for small or larger families. The communication with Hugh and Krista were top notch, and they are extremely accommodating and friendly. This place is one I would recommend and book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the use of the golf cart. So convenient to hope in and go. The house did not disappoint and was how it was pictured. Only suggestion would be the furniture in the living area looks beautiful but could be more comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

Loved our experience at "Blue Haven." We live in the metro Charleston area but not by the beach. This property was a perfect location and perfect house for our family. Location wise, it is close enough to the IOP connector to get on to the mainland quickly and also very close to the beach. We actually had to leave several times to get to volleyball and baseball practices and could get there easily and then back to THE BEACH in no time. It is a very short walk to the beach. We, however, took the gold cart (which is awesome by the way) and went down a little further down the road (1 minute) where we found a perfect little strip of'golf cart only' parking spaces which was immediately adjacent to a great beach access path. It was down far enough from the busier part of the beach to give us a bit more privacy.
Also with regard to the location, easy access to the awesome restaurants, shops and ice cream places on IOP was cool too. You could hear the live concerts at night from the Windjammer from our rooftop. We read a few people talking about the post office being across the street as a drawback but the positives FAR outweighed that.
The house is really nice and modern. Tons of space and rooms. Very Clean. The pool is really nice to have after a hot day at the beach. Because of set-up, shade comes into play around 3 pm so may want to consider that when you decide to have your pool time.
Management staff was VERY helpful and accommodating. Loved our stay.

Wonderful house for our family’s holiday gathering. We especially appreciated the multi levels with plenty of bedrooms and lounge space where family members could retreat for some quiet time; great for napping infant and toddler. Loved the rooftop deck for evening cocktails and sunsets. The beach and several good restaurants within short walking distance. Golf cart was a nice perk and was perfect for quick trips to the grocery.

The home was beautiful and stylish with enough room for the entire family. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had the right amount of cooking tools. Loved that it came with a grill that was effective for large families along with the golf cart to make getting to town very convenient. Would highly recommend to a large family or group of friends.

House was perfect for our entire family. Plenty of bedrooms so everyone had a place to sleep and most had bathrooms as well. Similar to other reviewers, the living room and kitchen were small for such a large group but we were able to make it fit. We brought a few lawn chairs to watch the football games. (The biggest complaint was the comfort of the couch which wasnt a big deal.) The location was key for us as there was easy access to restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shop, plus you are a block away from the beach. Plenty of parking. Overall a great house and we would definitely stay there again.

First of all, this is a 5 Star property with 5 Star management. The check-in process is simple, communication with the management team is quick, easy, and responsive (I had no problems at all with the property, I contacted them with general questions and updates to my number of travelers). If there is an amenity you need at this house and they don't have it, then you most likely don't really need it.
A few things to know:
- The LSV (golf cart) is great and you treat it just like a regular vehicle. Park (make sure to pay where required), drive, pay attention just as you would in a normal car.
- They have 3 bikes in the garage (one is a tandem!)
- There are plenty of towels for the bathrooms (check the closets in the bedrooms for more if you need them!)
- Yes, the laundry room is a bit cramped, but it is easy to work with and if you are spending a great deal of time in the laundry room, then you aren't vacationing properly!
- There are plenty of beach chairs loaded onto a cart that can easily be pulled to the beach.
-Getting to the beach is literally a 3-5 minute walk (that is with an 89 yr old grandfather and 79 yr old grandmother in tow!)
- There is a binder at the bar area that has a ton of info! All of it is great!
- Coffee make and blender are in the kitchen.
- Great pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils, and silverware!
- We cooked several meals and the stove, oven, and microwave were all excellent!
- Water pressure and temps in the showers were excellent!
- Location is Excellent!
Literally this entire place is excellent! You will not be disappointed with a stay at Blue Haven!!!!

Great house for family trip. Updated and clean, near the beach, heated pool, close to grocery store! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house! Had family from 4yrs to 80 yrs on this vacation and this house was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay, but it was not an ideal beach house for our large group.
The best features about this house were the beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms and having a golf cart all week. The roof top deck was an added bonus which is where we drank our morning coffee.
I chose this house 7 months in advance. The size of the house and the fact that it had a pool are the two things that impressed me in the photos. We were sadly disappointed.
The main disappointment was the kitchen. The photo made it appear much larger. It was difficult to find space for all the food. The pantry has three small shelves and the washer and dryer are crammed into the same space. It was impossible to dry clothes unless you closed the door and became Gumby. With a very large group, we wanted to wash clothes more often, but it wasn’t worth the inconvenience. Considering the size and price of the house, the kitchen should have been larger, and especially lacked in counter space.
The other thing that was unsatisfactory was the pool. The patio around it was always covered with debris from the trees surrounding it. It was useless to sweep it.
The pool itself was fine, but the pool furniture and places to walk were dirty.
A major problem about the layout of the house was there was no guest bathroom on the main floor where the family room was located. Our family had to use the master bathroom when we gathered in the main room. I thought that was odd.
The last complaint is that the walk to the beach was longer than described in the listing. If the beach access path had been at the end of the road, it would have been ok, but there was much more walking than I was expecting. Having a golf cart was great if we had had a place to park it and leave it while staying at the beach. Our family used it as a shuttle, which was better than nothing. The golf cart was very high quality and seated six.
The location of the house was not ideal, and that is our fault for not checking out the map. There is a post office in front of
the house, which didn’t bother us, but my point is that the location was not private enough for us.
One last point- We missed having a covered porch like most beach houses have.
In summary, we had a fun week and enjoyed the restaurants within walking distance. But it was not the right house for us. My advice when searching for a beach house is to get a good idea of the location first. There were no reviews on this house when I booked it.

My two sisters and I have been vacationing with our families in IOP for the past 10 years. This house is in a great location. The pool is also shaded in the afternoon which was very nice for kids. Like the advertisement says, the house is newly remodeled and done very nicely. Plenty of bedrooms and sleeping space for our needs, but it does lack social/gathering space. For a house that sleeps 16, we felt very cramped in the kitchen and family room area. This house lacks any kind of porch but does offer a nice rooftop (but our family prefers front or back porches - easier access than rooftops). Also, the pantry/laundry room is one and the same which made things interesting (and cramped) at times. Otherwise, a great house and good location.
