The house is so charming! Very clean. All instructions for entering were precise. House is directly on the river and only a few miles from Sequoia National Forest.

Lovely home right on the river. It was the perfect location to easily access Sequoia National Park. Hosts were always kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Cozy, excellent.

This house is the cutest place! It’s private, conveniently located, well appointed and the host is helpful and quick to reply. The bed is very comfy and having AC was key during the recent high temperatures. We loved everything about the home, the town and the parks. Thanks again for hosting us!

Hotter than expected for this time of year and location (house location temps much higher than Sequoia NP), but location on the river was beautiful and it was a great place to unwind after exploring the parks.

We had a wonderful stay. The location to Sequoia is just a few minutes, but to actually see sequoia trees its about a 60 minute drive. The river was fast at the house..... swimming is not easy. We did find a trail to a calm spot.

Had wonderful trip to the Three Rivera area and this property was the perfect jumping off point for a tour of Sequoia and King’s Canyon. A perfect refuge at the end of the day.

Wonderful house! It was a great location for our 3 days visiting Sequoia/Kings Canyon. Drinking coffee while watching the river off the back deck was definitely a highlight of the location. Beds are very comfortable. Would stay again if ever visiting the area.

A great space to stay and explore sequoia and kings canyon

This property is conveniently located right outside Sequoia, it made it easy to get into the park, also the cabin was very cute and well laid out. The view of the river right behind the creek was amazing, it was also awesome to sit on the deck and watch and listen to the water go by.
The only caution I would get is that during our rental, which was late May, the river is flowing very rapidly and would be dangerous for kids to play in or around. Certainly nothing the homeowners can do about that, but just a warning for parents booking with young children

We had as wonderful a time in this cozy, well stocked rental as we did in Sequoia! It was a wonderful wintery getaway with friendly local folks to help us on our way.

The property was cute, clean, and had everything we needed. It is right outside the park which made it the perfect place to unwind and relax after a day exploring. The beds were cozy, and the sound of the river was so relaxing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway that will not disappoint.

Had a great time in nature.

The location was great - 4 miles from the entrance of Sequoia. Plus the neighborhood had a handful of nice places to hit for breakfast and dinner before you spend the day in the park. The house was great for a couple - there is a second bedroom but only one small bathroom. So definitely perfect for 2 people but would be crowded for 4 people. The house was nicely decorated and well stocked. Being on the river was lovely - hearing the water was nice and calming. Good communication with the host.

Nice & Relaxing also very clean.
Limited supplies like sugar.

Lovely house that was well stocked. Closer to the river than the Sequoia hikes we took. Shower and futon perfect for my height, a little short for my tall husband :) Easy to find, beautiful setting. Appliances and furniture in great condition. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of blankets, towels, and dishes. Very roomy for my family of five.

The house is very nice. It doesn’t really have 3 bedrooms though. It’s two bedrooms and a sofa bed. That was the only downside. Otherwise we had a great time and Sequoia is gorgeous! Totally recommend.

Everything in this older house was great, but there is definitely only 2 bedrooms, not 3 as listed. The pull out couch is in the living room, which leaves no privacy for anyone in the house. Other than that, this place is wonderful and the owner was friendly and helpful.

Is a really nice place . It need some TLC but all in all a really lovely place my kids love it. Only downside was the river these year to strong of a current to swim. Thanks Pam for letting us rent your lovely home

We had a great trip. The house was really nice. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch. Location was great. Would have been even better if the road to the Giant Forest had been opened. Once that is repaired the house will be perfect location to get to and from Sequoia. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

From A-Z just a wonderful experience.

This property was a perfect place to relax, as the sequoia National forest was closed due to the roads being washed away. That did not ruin our trip, especially staying at this place and listening to the water outside. Me and my small family was able to play games, do puzzles, dance and just enjoy each other. We will be back, we came all the way from Indiana just to stay at this house and now we have to come back to see the Sequoia trees.
* helpful tip*- before you get into Three rivers stop at the grocery store in the near by cities for grocery. Much, much cheapier.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this river frontage property over Thanksgiving. The cabin is perfectly located 2 miles from the parks gate with several food options near by. After our day trips to the park we would come back and enjoy the amenities the cabin has to offer. We ate our dinners on the picnic table while enjoying the sounds of the river, we even saw several deer feeding one evening. Both beds were very comfortable too. Pam was in communication our entire stay to make sure all of our needs were met. I even forgot my hat and she mailed it to me the following day. Our family plans to come back and stay at this cabin.

Pictures did not do it justice for the beauty of the surroundings of this property. We were there in off season - when the river is considered low - but it was beautiful! You could still hear it inside the back of the house when it was quiet and easily by opening windows. The beds were super comfortable! Ample supplies and great touches - like throws in the living room and a fan in the bedroom. Take a flashlight - the path in to the house is dark at night - we were glad we had one. Owner was very responsive to questions about the property. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay with our two young kids! The cabin isn’t “luxury” but has lots of woodsy charm, and it’s on right on an incredibly picturesque little stretch of the river. The outdoor space was so inviting that we decided to spend our second day there instead of our original plan to go out to Kings Canyon. Three Rivers is a great little town too. Overall we couldn’t have been happier with our 3 night getaway from LA.

Amazing trip!! The property has a serene cabin-feel, with wonderful light, set right along a babbling river. We sat on the patio every night and stargazed for hours. The drive up to Sequoia is a great way to transition into an adventurous mindset before a day of hiking and exploring. Communication with the property managers was unparalleled, we had a great trip and can’t wait to come back. Thanks!!

It’s a charming house and a beautiful property with a river beyond the backyard. However after getting settled in the evening, we discovered there was no running water in the house. We used our personal water bottles for sink use and were exhausted so we went to sleep. We contacted the host in the morning then went out on our excursion. We waited but did not hear back from the host so we contacted the property manager and continued to contact the host several times with no response. That night, we called VRBO customer service and searched for another place to stay. At this time, the host responded to us. The host verified that there was no water in the house and offered to refund and relocate us.
We appreciated being relocated, and are awaiting the refund. We would have enjoyed the original property we rented if we had running water in the house, and/or if we had a quicker relocation process, as this turn of events interrupted our plans for the limited time we had on our vacation. It truly is a fairytale-zen home that we hope others can enjoy once there is running water in the home.

Such a great little spot to get away! It was really relaxing and you feel like you have the river all to yourself, but you are still close to town and anything you need. Getting up to the Park is about 45-55mins. Will be back again!

Our entire trip was for the Sequoia National Park but the house right on the river made the trip even better my 9 and 10 year old had a better time in the house than visiting the park

As hosts ourselves, we value the little touches like the welcome basket with personalized note. This made our arrival, even that much more special.
The location is awesome, just down the road from the entrance to Sequoia NP. SNP surpassed our expectations too! This charming Haus has everything you need and being able to listen to the sounds of the river was relaxing and put us in touch with nature. What I never saw in the reviews were talks about the stars at night. The stargazing from the back deck was some of the best we’ve ever seen. Within the first 15 minutes, we saw 7 shooting stars and 20+ satellites. Don’t need to keep looking, book this special home now!

Our family of four loved this warm and charming home. The location was perfect for Sequoia National Park. At the end of long days in the park we looked forward to returning here to relax. We really felt at home and the beds were comfortable. The host generously stocked the home for the guests (paper towels, spices, laundry detergent). The deck next to the creek was perfect for relaxing in the morning and evening. The host was excellent with communication. This is definitely a great home!

Great location close to the south Park entrance. Really enjoyed how close the river was to the house. The house is rustic but part of the charm. Everything you will need is provided and the hosts made the stay very easy.
