So when we’re on our way up mountain before we lost cell coverage stopped side of road to look up key code. That’s when it all started trying to communicate with Verbo. First your staff has English clarity problem and told us also due to security they did not have and not able to provide key code. Then with multiple phone calls while sitting on the side of the road with children in the car and it being very hot and tired from two hour travel multiple calls Trying to contact very disturbing. This was unprofessional you should have it on file that’s an important item accessing a property and I expect to be compensated for the inconvenience. I wait your response.trying to contact owner, very disturbing

My family and I had a wonderful time swimming and enjoying the quiet surroundings here. Check in and out was easy and with three kids under 9 years old, it was a great place to hang out.

Great time! Beautiful spot! About 15 minutes off the main road that leads into Sequoia NP. The house was perfect for me, my husband and our two kids (ages 4 & 7). We floated in the river (def bring floats, they were nice to have), hung out on the perfectly shady porch, used the swings and tried going on the little river hike. It was a bit overgrown for the kids, but still beautiful. There were fruit trees on the property, we had some delicious grapefruit and there was a little deer that visited each day. The kids saw lots of lizards, a frog, and a few very sweet little praying mantis. The only glitch we had was when the neighborhood lost power, which meant no phone or internet. I drove out to the main road and was able to call the property manager and he was very helpful and friendly. Not much anyone could do, but we had a nice chat, and the power was back on an hour or so later. I think the listing says "hot tub" but there is not a hot tub on/in the property. My son was mad at me for that but honestly it was so hot I don't think we would've even used it! The AC was great, quick to cool things down, and the TV had lots of streaming apps to choose from. Overall, it was a perfect escape and launching point for Sequoia NP adventures! Thank you!

The best vacation home we lived in! It is equipped with all necessities and surrounded by beautiful nature. We all enjoyed a lot. The host is very responsive and assured we had easy access to the property. We will definitely plan to go back.

Cozy and spacious home with fun adventures on the property close to Sequoia National Park. Rope swing, and your own river to swim and fish in! So much fun, kids loved it!

Beautiful home with an amazing porch next to a peaceful river. Close to Sequoia National Park. Rather remote - which adds to the peace. Didn't want to leave. The host communicated well. This was the best vrbo home i have stayed in.

Beautiful property.

Our time in Three Rivers was great. We visited Sequoia 3 times and Yosemite once. We ate local as often as possible and enjoyed the view from the back porch. Great Memories made.

Had a great time at this property. It was a family trip, my kids are ages 13 and 5. They played by the river, the swings and the rope swing all day. Never wanted to go into the house. You have the whole river to yourself and it is very secluded.
My husband and I also spent all day outside. Fishing, playing horseshoes and just sitting by the river relaxing.
We only went into the house in the evenings. We were able to just put in some DVDs and watch movies and play dominoes. It was so peaceful in the house, you could enjoy the sound of the river, frogs and birds etc.
I would definitely recommend this place to a family that just wants to enjoy their time together and can stay at a place that has the basics provided and doesn’t need a fancy modern house to stay in.

Incredible river setting to enjoy. Very private.

A friend of mine and I stayed at the property with our children for a couple of nights in April. It was an amazing experience! The kids ran around outside a lot and we took an hour day trip to the big Sequoia trees. When I reached out to Steve regarding access into the home, he answered immediately and was very helpful.
This is the perfect place to take time to slow down and feel rejuvenated from the natural elements.

We had an amazing stay at Steve’s. Unfortunately the wifi information wasn’t correct on Vrbo nor was it in the booklet inside of the home which made it very difficult to get in touch with Steve as there’s no service. Overall it was incredible, his home is beautiful and we had a great time.

Cool mid -century ranch house (so don't expect modern hip vibes) with amazing connection to the river and nature around it. Loved the quick access to town and SNP plus BLM land to explore.

The sound of the river was very relaxing. Total privacy. Close to sequoia. Comfortable beds. Good communication with the owner. We really enjoyed our stay!

You get to experience nature with all the amenities of your own home. Wifey described it on the drive home as a Magical experience!!! We got to experience the peaceful mornings on the patio with a bowl of oatmeal and drink of choice in hand. My boys got to disappear for hours sitting on the dam sharing and reflecting about life and whatever they are going thru at the stages they are in. I can go on and on of how we felt and what this trip meant to us but I think you get the point. We are definitely hoping to come back and experience different seasons at this beautiful tranquil location!!! Thank you so much to the host for sharing their family property and letting us create memories of our own. I have already recommended to friends and family and I would do the same to a total stranger. This is a must property to experience!!! Thanks again

The house was comfortable; however, it needs a deep clean. The bed linen, blankets and towels smelled as if they haven’t been washed.

We chose this property for its proximity to Sequoia National Park, and the riverfront setting, and it delivered on both features. It is secluded, but convenient to stores and restaurants. It was comfortable and well-equipped, and the hosts were extremely accessible for questions and an unforeseeable minor issue that came up during our stay.

Overall experience was very calming by the way you are in touch with nature just in their backyard you are able to hear the calming sounds of the birds chirping and the river flowing. The house was very clean and had all the essentials you'll need for your stay, very beautiful property enjoyed my stay there

I am an active, over 60 guy who has been Visiting king's Canyon ever since. I was in junior high at YMCA sumer camp And been coming up for many years since. This year, I was fortunate enough to bring my daughter and son-in-law. And we stayed at this awesome place with intentions of hiking many days, but after 1 day of hiking, we decided to spend the rest of our days, lounging in the water and enjoying the peace and solitude. Thank you Steve, hope to visit again maybe next year again for my birthday.

Beautiful mid-century cabin retreat next to the river and 6 miles from Sequoia National Park. The cabin easily fit our 6 person family with an extra 2 pull-out bed sofas. Elderly folks may need help getting around the property and into the shower.
Some of the favorite parts of our stay:
- Plenty of luggage racks. One in each bedroom and one extra in the supply closet
- Puzzles and boardgames aplenty. My kids enjoyed playing Scattergories
- River floats and ropes available for fun river activities
- BBQ grilling with a beautiful river view
- Outdoor patio facing the river. I practice Qi Gong every morning and loved the morning air and quiet by the river
- Host was extremely responsive and sent over an ac unit repairman the next day when our ac was having issues, and provided us with extra bedcovers and linens when we couldn't find any.
10/10. Our family would love to come back and stay again next year.

Fantastic location in floor to ceiling windows next to a river.

This is our second time staying here. The kids loved playing in the river and we loved relaxing in the patio overlooking the river.
4.8
Absolutely loved the views from nearly everywhere in the house, with the entire wall of glass, and listening to the rushing river just below the porch. Water level was high and running too fast to enjoy swimming or floating, no way to have predicted that when we booked it. However, the birds and local critters kept us amused. This property is NOT for guests with mobility challenges. Mom needs a walker to get around, so the uneven steps and paving stone pathway made it difficult for her. Also, the steep stairs down to the "beach" and water only has a railing half way down, so she stayed to the house and porch. The rest of us explored a bit more. The house itself was a throwback to another era, and easy enough for her to move around. We all needed a relaxing getaway to unwind, and that is exactly what we got. All in all, an enjoyable weekend.

This is my third time coming back with a few friends and renting for a weekend. We had a great time! The cabin is wonderful for some relaxing cabin time, and the property is right next to the Sequoia south entrance. The town of Three Rovers has plenty cute shops to explore. Highly recommend! And Steve is always responseful and helpful both before and during our visit. Thanks so much, Steve! We look forward to visiting again!

This is my 3rd time visiting here and have to say, even though the Sequoias are neighboring the property you don't want to leave the running water nestled right in front of your porch! This place never gets old and if you are looking for a great family place to see all other landscapes, you need to try this place!!
4.8
The place was very clean and relaxing. The whole family enjoyed our stay and we would like to stay hear again.
4.8
Love this home love how the river was just right there and I really love that there really was a private feel of property all around. Only thing I didn't like was there was little critters and a huge spider in shower.. but other than that loved this home will be coming back.

This property was amazing! It had everything you need with the best views! Close to town and the park. We can’t wait to go back!

A lovely, much-needed escape from the city. We love the river and the wildlife, great host!

Beautiful little cottage next to a rushing stream. Relaxing and secluded but close enough to groceries and restaurants so as not to be inconvenient.
4.8
This property was amazing and so much fun. My kids did not want to leave. The communication with the host was AMAZING and they were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back.
4.8
Very relaxing sitting in the patio overlooking the river, while the children are playing in the water.

The house is cute, it's up in the mountains so it's not perfect or spotless, no bells and whistles but it's a great place to go and relax. Beautiful location on the river, saw plenty of wildlife (even 2 bears) wonderful patio in the back to sit and enjoy nature. We spent the majority of out time at the house on the patio. The house has everything you need inside and feels very homey. Comfy beds and furniture.
The house is about a 15 minute drive to the entrance of the Sequoia National Park. Very close to the little town of Three Rivers where you can find everything you need.
We definitely plan on visiting again!!

The property (lot, river access, general outside areas) is excellent. It is serene and calm, perfect for relaxation. The property is close to Sequoia NP which is a plus.
House needs some TLC, it was repainted inside since the last time we were there. The kitchen needs updates but is mostly functional and usable. Kitchenware can be cleaner: we had to rewash/clean most of the stuff before use (the electric teapot was never cleaned on the outside and needed a thorough cleaning as an example). The fridge was clean and worked well. AC was functional and is great to have if you travel in August. Internet was sporadic but worked most of the time (had to drive to Sierra Dr. and do zoom meetings from my phone in the car), much improved since our last visit. No cell service at all (not a ding to the property, but keep in mind).
We have been here a couple of times and always bring our own pillow covers as it has been our experience that sheets are clean but covers can be cleaner.
We got charged for "excessive dirt on carpet and a pet dog" and paid the extra fee without hesitation as we love the property, but the truth of the matter is carpets are not in great shape first and our dog never entered the house and slept in the crate outside (truckbed at night, crate in the driveway during the day). Overall it is a great place to spend a weekend.

Cabin
We enjoyed the property in July but didn’t spend much time there. Unfortunately it was a long way to Yosemite and Kings Canyon.

Great get away!
My family stayed at this house for two nights before heading up to Sequoia. It was a great spot for relaxation and exploring outdoors. I already want to come back solo when I can actually relax and enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of the river without distraction 😊. Beautiful property. Great mix of comfort and nature.
