Fabulous location

The Sandpiper was obviously a work in progress when we stayed, but this didn't at all detract from the pleasure of our stay. Good location and very comfortable.
Not much.

Location close to town, beach and seafront. Kettle and fridge great. Plenty of room for clothes hanging rail. Shower size OK and good water pressure. Clean bedding. Parking available on road in front of guest house.
We would have liked to know there was a WiFi code available on the 1st day not afternoon on 2nd, as tv was not tuned in until 2nd day despite several efforts of landlord trying to fix it felt like we were being blamed for turning it on!!! Also front door sticking, both us and another family tried but failed to get in with either key so rang the bell but seemed this was an inconvenience to owner.
Quite a bit of dust around door recesses and windows in the room that had been there a while. A good clean needed around taps base where they meet basin. Room 2. Could do with a few extra sockets or longer extension cable by side of bed.
This is a guest house not b&b so no breakfast, thou we were advised before arrival just worth noting. Breakfast at the Milk Bar just over the railway crossing was great!

Location right on beach front. Plenty of parking spaces if you prefer to drive. The owner of sandpiper was lovely, nothing to much trouble, nice friendly place, had everything you need from a b and b, kettle , TV, free WI FI, private loo and shower, towels provided, brilliant , will stay here again
Next doors water works and pipes were a bit noisy but not enough to keep you awake.

The location is fantastic! Waking up to that view each morning was amazing too. Tara was friendly and welcoming and we had everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much 😊
We liked everything

Was in a back room overlooking back yard. But that didnt bother me, and I would like the same room again.
Could have had a curtain/blind in bathroom. Not a major issue . Would still stay again in that room.

Nice location and not too far from Snowdon which I climbed up.

Lovely view every morning, even through the rain. I could get used to this.

The location was fantastic, short walk from the town and next to the beach. The staff were friendly when I got there and the facilities were acceptable. I have stayed here before and got a different room which didn't contain a fire escape and was generally nicer.
The room looks tired, especially the bathroom. The fridge in the room was loud enough to stop me sleeping when it came on. The room was very hot (which was somewhat to be expected given the weather) but the only real way to get air in was to open the fire escape door, which couldn't be left open while I slept. The fact the fire escape was in the room meant that there was a "break to enter" box outside the room, which made me uncomfortable but I guess is necessary given the design.

Perfect location, great price.
As regular visitors to Barmouth this B&B was just right for 3 of us.

Bay window with sofa facing out to sea. Fridge was useful for keeping milk and wine cold. Location on seafront near the railway station. WiFi good, shower a bit basic but was a good temperature.
Although we gave an arrival time there was no one there to greet us but there was a key safe so we were able to phone and get the code. Disappointing not to be able to take fish and chips back to the room due to no takeaway policy.

Loved everything about our stay, host was very helpful & welcoming. Can't fault the room, we've stayed all over Barmouth & The Sandpiper is at the top of the league!
This trip followed a close family bereavement & to sit on the wonderful sofa & just look at the amazing views was the best therapy ever!
The bed was perfectly comfortable & all other facilities were spot on.
Nothing not to like.

Headed home early, because to cold the room heater not working did try adjusting the settings to no avail reported it, received a torrent of abuse informed leave the bed and breakfast and no refunds will be given.
I didn't like a cold room and very basic accommodation.

The host was warm and friendly. We are familiar with this part of Wales and love the stunning coast line/ mountains and town of Barmouth.
The accommodation has great potential but needs a fair bit of tlc. The decor needs to be lighter/ brighter.

Super location the room was comfortable especially the bed & very clean with a fridge which is bonus & lovely view from the window as to be expected in Marine Parade 😍 & the proprietor was helpful & friendly..
Unfortunately the TV was out of action which was a shame as I like to tune in to 6 Radio in the morning & catch the news in fairness this was one of those things & being a weekend wasn't possible to rectify which Tara apologised for & promised me a discount on my next visit which I thought very fair ...
