Moder hotel with the great location, polite staff and good vibes.

I like the location of the hotel. Hotel itself was very clean and new. The pool was amazing, especially its size and water temperature and the fact that it was away from the street in the hotel inner yard. All staff was good particularly the waitress Nicoletta and the receptionist Maria. I felt extremely good in the hotel.

Super friendly and stylish hotel in a great location in Rethymnon.

Hotel was clean and stylish, well located near the beach and in a quiet place within comfortable walking distance from the lively and sometimes noisy city center. Our room was well equipped and the highlight was super comfortable beds. Another little plus was the possibility to sun-dry the clothes in the balcony. Breakfast was superb with all sorts of local tastes and delicacies, but the absolutely most important thing was the wonderful service by all staff members. We felt at home and well taken care off during breakfast, at reception and pool bar. We recall the wide smiles and friendly attention for a long time, and hopefully also some Greek words we learned from the hotel staff.

Frankly, all was very well, but we had some minor issue in reservation because the credit card was not properly recognized.

I liked the rooms and the breakfast. Excellent staff, very helpful. The hotel is well located, close to the beaches, the restaurants and the shops.

I didn't like the fact that the hotel's restaurant was closed at dinnertime.

Great location. Very close to the Beach and shopping. Walking distance to the old town. Free parking possibilities in the street. Clean room and fine terrace. Great personel very helpful.

Our room was not ready for check in at 15. We had to wait 40 minutes. No sun at the swimming pool area.

Very friendly staff and the room was clean and modern. The AC was efficient and quiet. The pool was also very clean and relatively large. It is a bit of a walk to go to the town (about 15 min) but the beach is just a block away.

Very clean, very comfortable, we ended up spending a lot of time there because it was so relaxing.

Minor detail but the tap was a little difficult to work in the room without getting splashed on your clothes. Everything else was perfect.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Rethymno. Many nice restaurants, old town and nice beach close by.

This hotel is the best! Great location, modern and clean. Perfect size and never crowdy. Breakfast was excellent, the best ever! Staff so nice, helpful and friendly. The stay at Melrose for 11 days was perfect and everybody in our family trip (age 22-83) were super happy!

Really beautiful, quiet hotel in great location 2 mins from the beach. Breakfast was fabulous. Rooms comfortable and clean. Staff lovely.

Would have been great to have a pool table or table tennis for my teen kids. Not much going on for them in hotel. Just the lobby and restaurant and the pool area. Probably fine for most people.

staff excellent. good location on the beach - 20 minute walk from old town. lovely rooms - spacious and light and clean. liked the addition of a smart TV. pool area great and superb breakfast. staff always went the extra mile which was appreciated by ourselves and all other guests

Wonderful hotel in a very good location.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast probably the best choice we've ever experienced from a Greek hotel. The provision of kettle & fridge appreciated. The modern bathroom was great and the outside swimming pool would be lovely but sadly the weather during our stay wasn't warm.enoigh.

No place to park your car. This is a problem as it's a residential neighbourhood and parking is a premium. I think in high season this could get worse. There needs to be a space for cars to unload their luggage when the arrive!!
