The hotel was clean. That’s about the only good thing I can say. This hotel is OLD and it shows. The front desk people we ok, but not a lot of “services” offered. We did not try pool, hot tub, or gym. The “restaurant” is average at best with a VERY limited menu and it’s only open for dinner. The “breakfast” offered in lobby were limited and of mediocre quality. They ran out of the pastries by 8:30 then just cold store-bought donuts. If you need a place to stay that’s near the Vail hospital (for surgery) this is super convenient, but don’t expect much, and you will not be disappointed.

Great location and very comfortable. Would stay there again.
4.1
Superb and free parking

Front staff was very welcoming and helpful, they got us in quickly. After a 18hr trip to Vail, the best thing was getting to our room quickly! Beds were really comfortable, however the pillows I felt they were too hard. No feathers here. Other than that my stay here was awesome. Its super easy to get around and great places to eat.

The front desk clerk, did not speak clear English, then when we checked out at 5:30
Am no one was at the front desk I called no answer, I waited over 10 min, finally a guy pushing a cart came by, ask if anyone was here to check out he said was him, I watch 2 other people just leaves key, no room number, he said in 2 hours he would check everyone out. It was a great location, big rooms .
4.1
Another great stay at Evergreen Lodge! Great service, clean, and an easy access to Lionshead
4.1
Our room was clean and comfortable. I was expecting it to be updated and a bit fancier after paying a resort fee to stay here, but overall it was a good overnight stay.
4.1
Very convenient to attending concert at Ford amphitheater

My wife and I just did a quick overnighter. The room was nice, clean, and easy walking to the main commercial area. Continental breakfast in the morning gave us the energy to hit the road for a sit-down breakfast an hour later.
4.1
It was affordable
4.1
Solid choice
4.1
It’s next to hospital and that’s the reason for staying.

We did not have hot water on day 1, we called to have it fixed early in the day and nobody came until we called again after being out all day. By the time they came and we were able to clean up we missed our bowling and dinner reservation. (Both which had to be paid for and surcharges for). I was told no manager was on duty. Frustrated for sure! Otherwise room and property were clean, bed was ok. Pool and hot tub are clean. Location was great. Disappointed that my multiple calls for help while there and after have not been returned by managment.

In town. Great hot tub.
4.1
Location- close to town and river walk

It was lovely to stay in this hotel and enjoyed the walking distance to the village centre. Check in was smooth and parking was very easy as well. Overall was good place to stay.
4.1
The bathroom was challenging. The toilet was very slow to flush. The shower was unsatisfactory. I took a bath in an inch of water because the tub took too long to fill.
Th he ice machine and vending machine on our floor didn’t work.
4.1
Property has no air conditioning in the rooms
4.1
Place was kind of run down but the room was really nice.
4.1
Convenient location in Vail, also thankful there is the free bus all around town. Also glad dogs are allowed.
4.1
Location was fabulous. People that work there are super nice. Loved the free parking and all the amenities. The only reason I gave it 4, not 5 stars is our room was a little outdated and the shower head was funky.

The Evergreen Lodge was a great choice for our one night stay in Vail. It is an older property but has been kept up and has a contemporary look. It was very quiet (at least on our visit). It is in a great location to access East and West Vail by walking or picking up the bus at a nearby stop. The pool and jacuzzi areas were very clean and in great condition. It is right next to the hospital and very convenient if one is getting medical treatment.
4.1
great value - location and amenities and room were good and much cheaper than everywhere else. only downside was older style furnishings and a little darker than I like in room - otherwise everything was fine.
4.1
It was an enjoyable stay.

Affordable for Vail, good location

Great value for the price
Joel the bartender at altitude bar was awesome
Could use new lamps with usb ports/usbc ports
Newer curtains would make room look more up to date
Poor water pressure
Great location - behind hospital/ in-between vail village and lions lead

This hotel is a little older however it is very clean.
Within walking distance to Vail Village and there is a free shuttle bus up to the Amphitheater.
Did not use the pool but it appeared to be in good shape
The employees at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.
4.1
A nice location with walking or quick shuttle to the center village, but far enough away to be out of the noise and crowd. Lionshead is a stone's throw away, and walk to the Gondola in 5 minutes. We took a mountainside room, and worth the extra $. North rooms will definitely see and hear the interstate. Recommend getting 4th floor or higher, since the big hospital is immediately to the south (and blocking view). The pool is a nice amenity. The hotel is very nice, albeit a little on the 'vintage' side. You can certainly find newer and luxury hotels in Vail, but easily twice the rate. Evergreen probably has about the easiest parking of all accommodations on the south side of the interstate
4.1
The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and the hot tub and the great burgers at Altitude Bar. The walk into Vail was very short and easy.
4.1

Great value for the price. Excellent location.

Conveniently located and clean, but a bit dated (and the bathroom was tight).
4.1
Beautiful setting. The front desk clerk was great and let us check in a liitle early since a room was available. The restaurant food is excellent. Close walking distance to Vail Village and Lionshead village.
4.1
Nice heated pool and the staff was very nice! Had a smaller room and it was not very up to date due to mold and a leak on the floor behind the toilet. Also, there was constant loud noises and banging in the room above until at least 12 am each night and early in the morning.
