Great location. Only complaint was room was so hot.

Was a good choice for our needs. Close to shopping and everything was great in our room and on the premises. One minor issue was no coffee whitener with the in room coffee maker. Not a big deal as there was coffee available with free breakfast which was very good!!

Nice property. Kids left with a rash after spending time in the pool. The air quality in the lobby was not good.

Don't be fooled by the updated exterior, the interior is very dated! But the room served is purpose and was an uneventful stay.

The carpeting in suite 228 was very dirty, I told the woman at the desk, she said, someone must have spilled something, I said more like the carpeting had t been cleaned in a very long time.

Breakfast was the best that I’ve had at a Days Inn or Quality Inn in several years. Took the time to compliment Matt for his work on that. Building is a bit old and some of the wear is still visible, but overall things were quite clean. Each staff person was very friendly when contacted for anything.

Room was ready when we got there and was spacious and clean except we found a candy wrapper in one of the drawers...the hotel was quiet and located near many meal options ...the free breakfast had many cold and hot food options but limited seating...the pool area was clean and new, but the water was FREEZING...i would definitely stay here again!!

Thank you Barb for your help in finding a solution for staying in the same room despite two different reservations. Grateful we didn’t end up having to check out and move our stuff for a few hours between reservations. I appreciate your can-do attitude!

The halls and room had a funny smell. The AC unit was very loud and noisy to the point it sounded like someone sticking a pencil in a fan blade. The breakfast was the best offering at this place but even that was just ok. But at the end of the day, its a Days Inn. These are not 4 or 5 star properties. They are cheap for a 1 night stay and no days in should be rated over a 3

Very expensive room, $300 . Cheapest motel close to the airport for a very early next day flight. Watch out for fee $1.63 per day for the room safe, automatically added on the room bill. I caught the charged by reading the small print and the clerk did remove it.
The front door entrance was a smoking area with 2 large ash trays full of butts. Disgusting.
Upon very early check out, front desk clerk smelled of pot. Disgusting.
The view from our room, 115, a ladder against a 20ft wall of a building. NO view.
Will not recommend this motel and will never stay here again.

Convenient Location close to food and close to the highway.

Property was flexible with our check in time which was almost 2 am due to airline delays. Room was clean and the only negative would be a slight musty smell upon entering the room. Conveniently located near the mall and one mile from the airport.

Love the property and staff. Facilities are great. Only minor complaint is an update to television programs since some channels are unavailable now and haven’t been updated

Nice clean rooms with actual comfy beds! Nice customer service and the room cleaners were excellent!! Cheaper hotel definitely worth it!

My room smelled terrible! There was dog hair on the carpet in the hallways and stairwells! No elevator. The clerk didn’t even bother to tell my husband and me that we had to go down a flight of steps, never mind our luggage that we had to manage down the steps. My husband almost fell. We will NEVER stay at a Days Inn ever again!!

Apparently, it’s a busy season in Duluth. All of these hotels have gouged customers by charging upwards of $300 a night. I have stayed at hotels in New York Paris, London, and in a variety of other cities around the world and the value for $300 at this hotel was a loss. A Average hotel, with average rooms, Few if any amenities, charging exorbitant rates

The breakfast area was too cramped. There was not enough seating. Food was set up right next to where people were sitting.

The tvs didn't have a way to change input so there's no way to use HDMI wish sucks. I booked a queen bed and they gave me a full size. Breakfast was really good and the guy running it did a fantastic job keeping everything filled and clean

Nice hotel. Comfortable beds. Adjoining rooms were awesome.

The service was great, front desk staff is super nice. The pool was freezing which was a bummer but we got used to it like we do most MN lakes (haha!). The room was dated but cozy and the A/C unit worked but was badly in need of an upgrade. Bathroom door didn't quite close and I had no hot water when I showered in the evening. Overall, not bad, but I probably won't stay there again.

The rooms were nice and the spa was working. Unlike many previous hotels.

This hotel was average and expensive given its condition/amenities. Pros: Friendly staff. Cons: No closet or dresser in the room for clothes, carpeting was extremely worn, room was very small, lamp and electrical outlet on only one side of the bed and not the other, the doors to the rooms slam when people enter or leave, so we were hearing that all the time when we were in the room, and there was a lot of highway noise late into the night and early in the morning (since this hotel is located on a very busy road).

The saying, “you get what you pay for” does not apply to this hotel. It was too exorbitantly priced for what we experienced. The key card did not work on anything other than our room. I was told this was a “glitch in the system” and that it would eventually work. It never did. The “system” needs an update if this is a common problem. A very long black hair was dangling from the shower head when I used the shower. The bed was very firm which is fine if you like firm mattresses, but the pillows were awful. The ladies working the front desk were on the cranky side, gave the impression they didn’t care to hear complaints or concerns. The only positive is that breakfast was good.

I have stayed at this property numerous times for the last three years and whenever I need to stay overnight for Business and Duluth, this is my primary place. I picked to stay. It’s great for the anybody that travels as well as a short stay for any visitors to the Duluth area.
