Check in and check out were great. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The fridge was very cold and kept our food and drinks in good condition. The a/c was also very good. The only complaint I have is that the beds were very firm so I didn't sleep well. I know mattresses can be very expensive, but maybe the hotel could invest in mattress toppers to make the beds more comfortable.

Hotel was in need of renovations, pool area concrete broken up, pool itself was very dirty ( I was hoping for a swim- no way). Looks like there are long term residents staying at the hotel, some were drinking before 8am outside. Breakfast very poor, very little choice.

When we arrived the front desk person wasnt sure if our King room was ready, then said it wasnt because the tv was broke. Put us in a double, which im sure we didnt get money back. Went to the room and it was the most unbearable smoke smell, the tv was broke and the fire alarm chirped every minute. We spoke to the front desk and they put us in another room which was marginally better. The hairdry was pulled out ot the wall and the tub was stained terribly. The next day we asked for 2 extra towels since we only had 2 and the desk clerk said they were all in the wash. They said they would bring them to the room but that never happened. Far into the night i could hear their dryers going and it sound like there were coins rolling around with it. All and all it was just bearable. Never again will we stay there.

Breakfast was continental mostly danish or muffins coffee juice. No buffet type breakfast. Place was clean. Didn’t use pool the water was not very clean.

The hotel is a more rundown location, the pool looked pretty dirty and room service comes through every three days so trash builds up and you have to ask for new towels if you want them more frequently. The staff was very friendly and the check in process was easy. The room smelled a bit musty and was a little dirty but not too bad. All in all we got was we paid for, it was a cheap roof over our head and a pretty good vacation. Only 15 minutes from the beach and a couple good restaurants right in the area.

I liked the price of the room. Fridge was warm. No ice machine on site. Not very clean.

The room was dirty. Headboard fell off wall, toilet seat was broken and bugs running across floor. Moved to another room, slept for 4 hrs and checked out. Looks like people live there that are homeless.

This place has really gone downhill. It was very disappointing. The room was very basic and bare, no lamps by the bed, no coat hangers or even a closet to put stuff in, the bathroom door would not even close, no working ice machines anywhere on the property. Also, the breakfast is nonexistent, they only had coffee and juice. This place used to be much nicer but now it’s gone downhill.

I checked in and checked out 20 minutes later while I look for a new place. It was real scary here. People just hanging all around the place scary looking people and the place will pool was green water. If that’s a tell you anything the only thing nice about the whole place Was the lady behind the counter. She was nice. I would not recommend anybody to ever go to this place in their life. Stay away.

There was no toilet paper or a trash can. We were there 3 nights and our room was not cleaned once. The mattress was terrible. I had back surgery a few years ago, and most of the time I am pain free. The mattress was so hard that it has triggered back spasms. On our last day, we needed a large trash bag. We were told they were out, so my husband went to a grocery store and bought some.
There were people wandering around, and in and out of rooms. This is not what I expect from a Days Inn. If I would have expected to stay somewhere with sketchy people and literally no service, I would have stayed at a dangerous looking place in a rough part of town. Patriots Point is a nice, safe area, but this Days Inn is dangerous.

We stayed here last year, and we gave a positive review. Unfortunately, this motel has gone downhill since then. At check in, we were informed that the ice machine and the WIFI were down, but had been reported and would be fixed. Well, apparently, there was more to the story. From reports I gathered from other guests, both had been down for weeks, and there was no 'fix' on the horizon. Seems the new Owner has no interest in keeping the hotel up, only collecting the revenue. The pool, while up and available, had a bit of a green tint and the pump was not running to circulate the water. On a positive note, the bed in the room was very comfy to us. However, the room no longer had a trash can or a hair dryer or a spare roll of toilet paper. I didn't count them, but there seemed to be fewer towels than before. The morning breakfast was a joke, as it was always cleaned out by 8AM, well before the 9AM closing time. The staff was very nice, and I appreciated that. Perhaps the Owner should reconsider his strategy for this Hotel, making it better, not worse. Almost forgot, we woke up one morning to 5 Police cars in the parking lot, blocking our car. Not sure what that was all about. Not very comforting.

Could not give it one star if I could. The room was almost inhabitable with black mold on the ceiling outlets don’t work centipedes in the bathroom wet floor nasty sink stained bed and the pool was green like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year. Will definitely never return. Waste of money. Not sure why this place is open. Looked like a crack house.

Perfect location for exploring Charleston. My daughter really enjoyed the pool

For the price I paid for two room ($740.00) there was no internet , no ice in the ice machine . It all was broken and no toilet paper , towels and wash clothes , I had to request some for each of the room (337 & 339) . I think I should receive some refund back because all of this stuff was not acceptable. I rate this motel with a 1 star (poor) I’m sorry but it could have been way better for the pricing !

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and never had a bad experience- but it has gone way down hill in the last few years. The employees were all pleasant and very nice- The room was clean and decent, and A/C cool, but the entry door would stick and you had to "force" it open. The WIFI was terrible to non-existant inside. There was a "drip" over the A/C unit coming from upstairs room. TV remote didnt work properly and the pool looked like it could use a good cleaning. Outside there are cigarette butts and dog poop all over the place and "sketchy" people just hanging out at the picnic tables and walkways all hours of the day and night. (a couple people were even sleeping outside in their cars all night, every night we were there). Although no one bothered us or anything, I dont think I would recommend staying here again. It was just kinda seedy and left a bad impression overall.

No wifi, no trash bags, tiny breakfast, sofa bed has a dip in it, very uncomfortable. No chairs where to eat "breakfast" which consisted of coffee, juice, and cereal boxes.

Drunken people fighting outside my room in the middle of the night, rude front desk clerk, disgusting and dingy rooms. You're better off sleeping in your car in a random parking lot and probably safer there. Basically it has the look and feel of a drug motel. All I smelled all night was weed. NEVER AGAIN!

The pictures on the listing were nothing like the room we were given. There was broken furniture, nowhere to hang our clothes, minimal lighting and a dirty shower. We also reserved a King bed and were told they did not have any available.

Disappointed about the shower not having enough pressure. The room had a funny smell when walked in, they advertised free breakfast, and the only 2 things available were yogurt and cereal. We asked for fresh towels and they didn’t have any at all. The premises around the building smelled like pee. I honestly will not come back.

Broken toilet seat, took days to get a replacement! No extra toilet paper, was down to a few squares. The floors were wet and slippery! My clothes were wet. This is not the Days in I am used to. Needless to say I will never stay in one again.

This property looked so rundown from the outside. When we checked in, we found out that the continental breakfast area was a very small nook. When we went to our room, they had given us a room with only two doubles and not the king bed we reserved. We went to breakfast the next morning, they told me breakfast started at 6:30 in the morning. We got there at 6:25 and discovered that there were three chocolate muffins and two small, single serve packages of sugar cereal. You could help yourself to coffee, juice, milk, and water. I asked if they were putting more breakfast out. She said no. That’s all we have. I said doesn’t go until 9 AM? She said yes. A lot of people have already come through. The next morning we came in for breakfast at 7:15. Breakfast started at 6:30. The only food available for five individual containers of sugar cereal.
Everything was really rundown and we would not recommend this hotel. We tried to change hotels, but could not get any of our money back upon canceling. We would never go back to this hotel.

I stayed here last year and it was great. This year they have no working WiFi, their ice machine is not working and they only have juice and yogurt for their free breakfast. Very disappointing. When I asked to speak to a manager they weren’t available. When I asked them to have them call me, no response. I’ve not been reached out to yet

The staff was nice. The room was outdated with scratched damaged furniture. One dresser was missing the top drawer. Strong musty smell. No coffee maker. Would not like to stay there again.

This hotel was not what I expected at all. It was an older hotel. I booked it mainly because they advertised breakfast. There was nothing at all except for coffee. The attendant even told us we should sneak for breakfast at the Howard Johnson next door and that she does that often herself. The rooms weren't clean, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. There was no toilet paper and the fridge was broken. Would never stay here again.

The room was a no frills motel type room. Upgraded recently. I have never left a bad review but this stay was not good. First room we were put in the AC did not work and the floors were sticky. Never removed my shoes. The second room the AC worked. There was a lot of people living here fulltime. Cats sitting in windows. No telling what else was going on here. I wasnt going to say anything because I know it was a cheap place to stay. I should have went just a little bit more expensive but i was being a cheapo this weekend. But what really upset me was when we asked for more towels. The front desk said they did not have any. Several people were asking and all got the same answer. Said we had to talk to manager next day. Well i dont think they understand english well so it wasnt worth talking to anyone about. The summary of this is poor management! If the management was better it would be an ok place to stay.

The ice machine was broken, no internet, and and very limited breakfast selection.

The rooms nice need some update. Their air condition was not cold enough, but it did work. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful and nice.

Don’t stay here- you might find that the price is cheap, but it’s worth more to stay downtown. Wish that I had done so originally. I booked this before our cruise and ended up leaving, forfeiting our pay for a nicer place. The rooms stunk, my teens were mortified that I had booked this place!

There was no hair dryer in the room or a coffee pot. We had no hot water at all took cold showers. The breakfast was so little we actually opted to go buy breakfast instead. Only had 2 yogurts and a couple muffins out.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL FOR ANY REASON. There was no coffee maker, no bedside lamp, no Kleenex in my room. The floor was dirty; there was even food on the floor. Soon after I checked in, an employee tried to get in my room without knocking. Breakfast selection was very poor. 2 out of 3 mornings they ran out of cereal and muffins. There is nowhere to sit for breakfast, so you have to take food back to your room. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

It was the nightmare night in my live, the people at the front desk are rude, the rooms and floors are very dirty, the hotel floors are dirty never been washed, all the trash cans was full of trash with construction trash, smell dirty and sometimes marihuana around

Not described correctly in presentation, no ice, rooms dusty, floors made your feet black, doors to rooms had been broken into so many times they wouldn’t open or close, furniture in rooms was so worn it looked like something from a yard sale. Will never do days inn again!
