Everyone at the hotel was polite and helpful. This is our second stay (the first stay was also impressive) We will continue to make this hotel our go to, its a clean place with wonderful staff. We took advantage of the pool & hot tub. Although the lounge wasnt open while we were there, the prev visit it was and its nice to have an option for a drink & food & not have to drive anywhere.

We have stayed in hotels and Minneapolis and St. Paul a lot this a last year. We have had ok stays and not great stays, but this is the first stay where we were beyond pleased! The hotel is the nearest to the capital and it was not terribly busy. The staff was attentive, the pool and hot tub amazing and cleaner than all the others, the room was comfortable and well appointed, the breakfast buffet was manned by an amazing woman that just topped a stellar stay with a sparkling cherry!!!

Room temp was 75+ the entire time. Even with window open. Bathroom had hair in sink and tub. Hole in wall by phone. Stained linens on bed.

Location was great to XCEL Energy Center and local restaurants and pubs. Just a short walk and the view was great!
General Manager greeted and checked us in and he was very knowledgeable and informative about events and times to be aware of. I would stay again for future visits.

They used their shuttle to get us to the concert.

The stay was good until i was woken by housekeepers opening the door.

Property is not located within amenities. If you’re up for a walk, there are great dining and typical attractions around a capital. Airport is a short drive. Property is near freeway but is relatively quiet.
4.0
At check in, the line was across the lobby to the front entrance. Aside from that, there was a shuttle to and from our concert venue which was awesome! While the room was clean and spotless, it was clear the room needs to be updated.

Great hotel to stay at for Excel events! Free shuttle service, free breakfast and wonderful staff!! Highly, highly recommend. Price was very economical - will definitely stay here again!

When calling to verify hotel reservations it rang for a long time. I thought maybe folding towels so I gave them time. Person that answered was snappy and rude. I don’t stay at hotels a lot and wanted to verify before arriving. Big bathrooms were dirty. Staff at breakfast were super nice. Bartender staff also nice.

Check in was smooth. The hotel property is well maintained. The first night we stayed in and enjoyed the hotel bar/restaurant. The bartender was phenomenal! Very attentive and all around great guy! The next morning we did the hotel’s breakfast. I will say this was a wonderful experience. I did not get her name but the woman working the breakfast area was amazing. She welcomed us and asked what she could get us for morning beverages. She too was very attentive and wonderful.
We used the shuttle service to and from the game. The driver was quiet but it was a pleasant ride.
We will definitely stay here next time we are in town!!

Good stay. Gentleman at the desk was busy, taking ph on e calls and trying to check us in. The gal at breakfast taking juice/drink orders was a bit odd. Not necessary, made people feel bad about getting our own drinks like we typically would do. I can see if helpful but would still be nice to get our own drinks.

This was my first stay in the Radisson! It was a great experience for me. The hotel was clean, the housekeepers cleaned my room each day. (I didn't have to request housekeeping) the staff was very friendly and helpful. I just wished they had walk in showers versus tub.shower.
I will stay there again.

We stayed a few weeks prior at a different unrelated hotel chain and I have never been so scared in my life! We checked in very wary due to our last experience . We loved our stay! Our rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was very nice and helpful. We had a pool ( didn't use this time) and a pub that offered drinks and food. The continental breakfast was a hit and the lady running the breakfast was the nicest person I have met in quite some time. We will not be booking our next stay at the same place or with this same chain. Thank you for the relaxing stay!

Check-in was so easy. The room was spotless. The beds were super comfortable. I love the variety of pillows and the state was perfect.

Hotel has seen upgrades and worked for our stay. First night didn’t get room service but the next night we did.
Frustrated though as did not receive hotel points as said I booked here. And never received anything from hotel.com either.
Overall hotel worked for the stay. Just wished breakfast was offered sooner.

The property was clean, felt safe, was quiet and the front desk agent was knowledgeable about the area and was able to give me directions to our evening destination. The highlight was at breakfast. The food was delicious and Vivian (I hope I remember that correctly) was attentive, kind and warm.
The beds were comfortable, the shower hot and the towels soft. I didn’t appreciate housekeeping knocking at my door at 8 am. That was the only downside of my stay and minimal to the things that could be wrong.

I loved the view of the cathedral from our room. It was in walking distance. We had walking distance to city bus pick up. The lunch food was good. The capital was close. Our room was cleaned often.

The property location I felt was in a good area {during the day} hard to get into the parking lot as it was on a one way frontage road. Parking was in a gated lot that you received a code from the front desk to get in and out of, but beware you pay 15 dollars a day on your bill for parking tax.

My daughter and i stayed at the Radisson Downtown St Paul for the night. It was pretty clean and quiet. The hostes that helped us with the continental breakfast the next morning was super nice and friendly!! We will be staying there again

Our room smelled intensely like cigarette smoke upon arrival. My 9 year old son is Asthmatic so this is a big deal for us more than most. When telling the front desk this, the staff got the attention of what I can only assume was the head of housekeeping. Standing in the lobby with a pack of cigarettes in her hand, she offered to grab room spray as a resolution and told me to open the window, but then never returned back to the lobby...the front desk staff gave me her bottle eventually instead. No apologies, no empathy, no offer of a room change. The window had no screen on it, and the window was near an outdoor flood light so we had gnats in the room, but it was unbearable without the window open. The beds were horribly lumpy and uncomfortable as well, which made our sleeping situation even less desirable. Friday morning while leaving the hotel we were hit with having to walk through cigarette smoke again while leaving the hotel doors, only to realize it was the same housekeeping worker and the chef of the hotel enjoying a cigarette immediately outside of the door west of the front desk (where our car was parked) only a few steps to the left. We have been home two days and my son is still needing nebulizer treatments in the middle of the night to breathe hence the 3a review. I will never stay again where my sons health is jeopardized and I would suggest to others to stay far away also. I am very saddened at the lack of action of staff. Vivian-breakfast attendant-was great

The only issue we had with our stay was parking. Even though I'd already paid $300 for 2 nights i also had to pay an additional $30 for 2 days of parking!] I was not in a debe area nit did i ever see additional security.

the lady who checked me in was extremely rude and seemed like she hated her job but took it out on me. didn't know i had to pay for parking. room was really small and so was bathroom. 4/10 (the breakfast was really good). other then the food, i would not recommend staying here. definitely will not be coming back.

Nice hotel in a bad area. Homeless people everywhere and gang writing right down the street. Did not feel safe at all. The property had to be fenced in, but still didn’t feel safe. The check in took forever because the person in front of us couldn’t find a credit card that worked. We had to wait almost 20 minutes. Our check in only took about 1 minute. It would have been nice if they asked her to step aside so they could check us in while she was on the phone with her bank.
Our room was a little small but clean. The air condition didn’t work very well and kept blowing in the stench of marijuana. It was horrible and aggravated my asthma terribly. I told the front desk and they said they would take care of it. But every 45 mins to an hour, the smell kept coming back… all night and morning!!
The Restaurant/Bar is pretty good and although fairly small, the free breakfast was pretty good.
Stay at your own risk!

Our room faced 94 and it was very loud.
Also we stayed during the fair and were never able to take advantage of the breakfast as it never opened up early enough for us. Be nice id during those times they opened up earlier to accommodate for exhibitors.

First off my room was prepaid but the attendant slid my debit card for $450.11. I didn’t notice until I went to my room and checked my account. He said he just need a card on file. So when Inwent down and showed where my room was already paid etc…. He went and allegedly talked to the assistant manager and she will fix it. Well long story short everyone I talked to about this situation was rude as if it was my fault and as if I didn’t have a right to be mad. First off my husband came on the trip last minute. Had it not been for him I would’ve have had one meal per day ( the free breakfast) because they had every dime of my money on hold. Second I am an oxygen patient on oxygen 24/7 they had no consideration. The hold had to fall off through my bank because evidently I upset management by telling them it’s their fault and demanding my money! The manager didn’t even address this issue until I was at check out. He promised me points for a free room which he never deposited. I call corporate and they gave me some compensation which I feel isn’t enough but once I use it I may never stay with that brand of hotel. One Apple can spoil the bunch. Also my first night there I slept in a room without air. Spoke with the night attendant she said oh put it on 65 it will work duh!!!! No maintenance or new room or nothing mind you I am an oxygen patient 24/7. The next morning went and complained again and was moved into a room a few floors down next to the air conditioning units outside from
