Amazing day, friendly people, amazing location. Had a blast, can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful historic location. Very cool property right in a very artsy downtown.

The room was cold. Even though we pushed the thermostat up to 72 , the room was 69 this morning. Small room. Paid for a queen bed that was more like a full bed. Checking out, I was told there is very little difference between a full and queen.

A bit pricey but a better option than the chain hotels around the area. We were not impressed with the hotel dinner. Very limited and expensive menu. Carpet and room furniture needs cleaned. Temperature controls in room were not working.

Classy and classic historic hotel with very friendly staff. I love having my dog with me and I was able to have a cocktail with him on the veranda. My stay was simply a lovely experience.

The place was very historic, beautiful place with garden, and huge porch and patio to enjoy. Super friendly staff, and we decided to have breakfast in the dining room, wonderful meal.

We really enjoyed interacting with the Berea College students.
We also had fabulous dining in the Restaurant.

A very hospital place. The staff was super friendly and eager to please. A small town feel. Super clean city. Clear air.

Room was ok. Everything is over priced. Toilet leaked and the repair was to mop the water up.

Amazing staff and a fun hotel- you should meet the locals.

Noisy Frank Sinatra party going on for hours, could hear it in our room. Front desk staff was blowing her nose while talking to me. Dining room staff was slow and didn’t know what some of the items they were serving even were. Meal was overpriced. Guest rooms are charming but very tired furnishings. The whole place needs a refresh and deep cleaning.

2 months ahead, I tried to book through property reservation system & was told the rooms I wanted weren’t available. Had to go thru Expedia to get the 2 rooms (they had them). Hotel was nowhere near filled so I don’t understand why I had to go through you. I was nervous I would be overcharged as this just happened to a friend who booked through Expedia at a motel in Georgia.

Amazing historic property, everyone was tremendously nice and welcoming. Very cool hotel, contributing to the laudable educational mission of Berea College with some genuine Appalachian hospitality.

The hotel was beautiful inside and out. The landscape and flowers were incredible! We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the large porch. And the food in the restaurant was exceptional! I highly recommend staying at the Historic Boone Tavern.

Love this place. A charming restful stop that's become a habit on our way north or south.

Berea KY is amazing town with artisans, college town and outdoor activities. It’s actually on the list of best Hippy places to go….. promise it’s not a bunch of hippies LOL What’s cool that Berea College runs the historical hotel and you are supporting an amazing institution.

Food is great! Try the burgoo for certain and spoon bread is still the best. Desk staff was most helpful.

Overall great stay. We had a room on the 3rd floor and during a heatwave the AC worked well. Kept the room cooled off, which was a worry being someone who likes to be frozen to sleep. Rooms do have a mini fridge. Didn't see it in listing I emailed them and they all have one. If you're looking at photos, I did think our room would have a Jacuzzi tub, but the standard King room has a "soaking tub" aka a tub/shower combo.
Check-in was easy, staff was nice. Food was good, the Frost Cafe was a great stop for coffee. Sitting on the porch was nice. The street is a very busy street, so if you are dreaming of sitting on the porch and enjoying peace and quiet.... think again. It's not overly loud, the street always has a decent amount of cars on it. Not the fault of the hotel or staff.
Area was nice, about an hour away from the Bourbon trail. Did a lot and stayed two nights. If you're on the fence deciding, if you like the price. There is no reason not to stay here.

Staff was pitifully slow. Ordered a mint julep that seemed to be nothing but club soda.
