Pay for parking lame, building was old and run down

The cooling/ heating system wasn’t working, at as we arrived we were handed electric fans and the to open the windows, rooms unbearable warm during the day, forcing us out of the Hotel room. Pool was disgusting and smelled like urine. Elevators were not working and I got stuck twice. Forcing us to go up and down the stairs. Found roaches in the room.

Did not like that they charge extra for parking in the parking lot!
4.1
It was ok! The down side was having to pay for park in the lot at the hotel! Not too much options for breakfast!
4.1
The door on our room wouldnt shut all the way. The guy working the front desk was weird and made my wife uncomfortable. They didnt have room service.
They make you pay to park your car there. Not a good hotel
4.1
Loved the room layout with a couch in one area and the bed in another. Lots of room. Furniture is a little dated but comfortable. Hot water took forever to get barely warm. And bathroom is very small. Breakfast was just ok. Not very quick about bringing things out. Had to ask for several items. All in all I enjoyed my stay here.
4.1
Gave us wrong room - we paid for king bed and got two queens. Shampoo in shower broken - no shampoo! Don’t stay here
4.1
Great location in Chesterfield, VA. Quiet and close to food and stores.
4.1
Not as great a deal as expected after staying here a night.
4.1
Overall, it's dated, in need of some maintenance (water stains on the ceiling, tired furniture, microscopic bathroom, no complimentary toiletries, fairly spartan breakfast provided. Wouldn't stay there again. last but not least, you have to pay for parking?? They don't mention that until AFTER you've booked a room!

They charge for parking ! not cool !
4.1
Nothing worth staying here. Room was dirty. NO resturant. NO bar. Worn out. Pay to park yourself in an open parking lot woth no security. EXPENSIVE.
What a waste of money. Will stay next door at the Extended Stay for ALLOT less money.

Ok

New housekeeping policy for cleaning every other day needs to be more prominent and verbal at check in.
4.1
Good hotel. Friendly staff.

Paying for parking a night on top of $160ish a room is absurd. Rooms are decent and clean. Hallways get super loud at night like a party is going on.
4.1
There was an additional fee to park in the parking lot that I was not aware of - this is not acceptable. Second there was very limited food and drinks and no afternoon staff to serve drinks or prepare food as was customary at Hyatt Places.

Took front desk almost an hour to check us in/give us a room key. They put us in a room on the first floor that was in the service corridor so it was noisy all day and much of the night. Bathroom was so small you could hardly shut the door while you were standing on the inside of it. Also, checkout was listed as 12 noon but the house cleaners were beating on the door at 9 am.

My only issue with the property was the parking situation. You have to pay for parking which is fine but they make you pay in 24hr increments meaning if you stay for 2 night you have to pay for 48hrs. Check out is at 12noon so the second day of parking you’re only able to utilize the parking until 12noon but you’ve already paid for the full 24hrs.

Highly recommended

Desk folks were very friendly and liked the size of the room. The practice is to only clean the room every other day. Didnt like that. Trash accumulated, only enough coffee for 1 day and if you asked for more you had to wait for it 2 days until they cleaned your room. Breakfast could be improved. Pool tiles needed cleaning. The big bottles of shampoo, body wash, etc need to be checked more frequently and changed. Ours were empty.

I saw the same room on another site for $20 less a night. The so called free breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The dining area was cluttered with food and debris. The room we stayed in was acceptable.
4.1
The parking cost was outrageous and the rooms could use some updating
4.1
Room 510 has a light switch that only works half of the time. The toilet wont flush. There was no pillows for the pull out and when i asked for one i was laughed at. The breakfast isnt very kid friendly. I probably will not book with them again.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean, the rooms are spacious

I was double charged for the property when I checked in and then the deposit for the incendentals was also double charged after I had the refund done for the initial double room charge

Nice place

The only thing i thought was crazy is they charged you $9.00 a night for parking in their parking for the hotal. We stayed 1 night, 9 bucks. If you stay 5 nights $45 bucks. Thought that was ridiculous.

Friendly staff and clean rooms.

You have to pay for parking separately.

Carpets weren’t good and there was no house cleaning

Bathroom too tiny

The hotel was nice we love staying at the Hyatt when we go out of town. But this room had some flaws, the bottom of the bed footboard had blood like stains, fridge wasn’t that clean, and the pull out mattress cover was a little dirty. Staff were nice but in the morning for breakfast they not so friendly.
4.1
At check in there is a QR code that you have to scan at the front desk to pay $9 to park your car in their lot. When entering our room the room smelled like mold. We booked two rooms because we have a large family. We asked for joining rooms and got rooms across the hall from each other. A can of Starry Soda at the front desk cost $3 per can and the cans were expired. We left the hotel and went to a store to buy drinks and snacks

Breakfast was not good

Property is a bit outdated. $9 fee for parking in open parking lot seems like an overcharge. I’m a member of Hyatt for over 15 years. Those type of fees are usually for parking garages. Property is clean & staff have great customer service. Will not be a top choice pick next time when in the Richmond area.

Nothing fantastic. The carpets were disgusting. Lots of wear and tear in the rooms. Fold out bed mattress was gross. Nothing worked. All staff seemed uncomfortable to talk with us. Its $9 for parking...the breakfast was gross. Sausage was still pink/red!!! We only needed it to rest our heads and leave. So it was ok for that purpose. Would not stay again.

The staff was friendly and helpful.
The main part of the room had a nice setup. The room was nice except for the bathroom, which was fit into a very compact space. There was just barely enough room to open the door without hitting the toilet, which looked like it had been cracked in one place and pieced back together.
The “buffet breakfast” was pretty weak. There were sausage patties, some version of eggs, and maybe some oatmeal; that was it as far as hot food. Everything else was cereal, bread, and maybe a couple other cold things.

I did not like paying for self-parking !!
4.1
Nice layout in king suite. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of options.
