Location was good but bathroom was terrible as shower screen does not cover shower area, floor was very wet after shower. Staffs were very friendly

Our stay with the Hotel Alison was amazing. The staff were friendly, remembered our names and so helpful. The breakfast each day was a Parisian treat. We loved every aspect of the stay. The neighborhood is quiet with a grocery across the street and great restaurant recommendations. Very walkable and convenient to everything. What a great hotel it is!

This is an excellent small hotel with staff who are attentive and helpful. Very convenient to Madeleine Metro station.
4.5
Clean room, excellent staff (friendly and helpful), excellent location near Metro lines. Breakfast was plentiful. Some funky elevator issues and a strange (although not for Europe) shower set-up, neither of which detracted from the excellent overall evaluation.

Staff was AMAZING. Great property, top floor unit, super helpful staff. My only complaint is the sound proofing is zero. ..i could hear my neighbors sneeze and cough and talk. Paper thin walls. But the staff made up for it. 11/10 staff.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They also have balcony rooms, which we had. If you decide to stay at this property while in Paris you will have very clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Staff are super friendly, great location and quiet rooms . Florence was very nice and helpful to show us tourist attractions

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Alison from June 13-16. Florence at the front desk is a gem and could not have been more welcoming. I found my room layout efficient and the bed extremely comfortable. I also appreciated the continental breakfast automatically included with my room, which they serve in the hotel's charming basement dining area. The breakfast particularly came in handy on my final day before heading to the airport. My only quibbles are not with the hotel but rather with the location. While not inconvenient, the neighborhood is pretty "ho-hum." Aside from a handy Franprix across the street, there are few patisseries or boulangeries in the immediate area (one must walk several blocks to find one) and the area offers minimal dining options compared to other Paris neighborhoods. I've been to Paris many times, so, for me, these were slight inconveniences, but first-timers may be disappointed with the location's general vibe. It is mainly a shopping area during the day and once the stores close, except for a theatre next to the hotel offering live shows, the sidewalks mostly "roll up at night." Nonetheless, the hotel is near a handy metro (Madeleine), so it's easy to travel to/from many neighborhoods, and the hotel is also only a 10-15 minute stroll to Place de la Concorde, Tuileries, and the Seine. Consequently, many visitors will undoubtedly find Hotel Alison a comfortable and convenient "home away from home" they will want to return to again and again.

It was a good stay. Nice and helpful staff. About 30min walk to the Eiffel Tower and other highlights.
I did find some small bugs in the room. Did not ruin the stay but a bit unpleasant.
4.5
Very friendly staff who went out of their way to help us after we checked out. Rooms were a bit small but clean. Easy access to all attractions

Great location. The staff was very helpful in storing out luggage until our room was ready and then they took it up to our room while we were out. I stayed here 10 years ago and really liked the property then as well. It's a small hotel, but in a wonderful, walkable location.

Florent. Wow. We were so excited to visit Paris. We arrived at 8:30p from Barcelona after a 6+hr journey. He seemed very nice. We were given a key to a room but upon unlocking the door, we realized someone was already in it. We were very alarmed and left quickly; thankfully we only saw luggage and no actual patrons. The doors were very heavy and we assumed the doors shut accordingly. We felt awkward telling Florent that a mistake had been made but we did so anyway. He was kind and found us a new room. We ventured out into Paris for the first time. Upon returning Florent was still there. He proceeded to question us to why we “left the door open” for the mistaken room. Stunningly rude. It took us continuing to apologize repeatedly before he backed off. For a minute, it seemed like it was our fault for going into the wrong room earlier that day. We were apologetic the entire time but after leaving the conversation were beyond attended for his approach. Language or cultural barrier maybe, but to be questioned late at night as to “why did you not shut the door” was an awful first impression of parisians. Florent should do some self reflection as to his approach. The hotel itself. Fine: very quiet which was great. Shower, very odd and easy to get water everywhere due to the European style. Decent place to stay. Hopefully Florent decides to move out of the hospitality industry. Not very hospitable.

This hotel was an incredible value for the price in the heart of Paris.

An extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast ($15) was generous (best croissants and bagette ever) and can be delivered to the room. A list of nearby restaurants is posted in the lobby with walking times shown. This is small hotel with a personal touch. Highly recommend.

Excellent location. Walked to Notre Dame, next day walke to Arc de Triomphe. 12euro uber to Montmarte & Eiffel tower. Friendly staff, continental breakfast juice, croissants coffee etc included. Options to buy eggs etc. Our high floor little balcony was excellent. Was an absolutely excellent stay! 100% stay again! Tip.Ask for balcony room

Located on a quiet street. Easy access to public transit, shopping and dining locations.

The rooms were small but adequate. Price was a bit high but thats to be expected in Paris i suppose. Location was convenient and as long as you could close your balcony door, it was quiet. Good for a solo traveler

Charming hotel in a perfect location to visit Paris. The room was comfortable and airy with big windows opening into a quiet courtyard. We had the breakfast included and it was a great way to start the day.

Staff are friendly and make you welcome from the start. My single room was small but very comfortable with all I needed and very well serviced. The breakfast is excellent. Location is perfect if you want to be right in the centre of Paris. Highly recommended and excellent value for money too.
4.5
The property is conveniently located. However, do not take the room facing the elementary school. It is noisy when the children are outdoors.

The staff are 5 stars at the hotel. The rooms are a good size and the location is very convenient. The breakfast in the morning was filling and delicious. Would stay again!

This is simply a wonderful little hotel with very thoughtful staff, wonderful continental breakfast and well located. It is easy walking distance to Madelaine and walking distance to much of Paris if you are young and active. There are restaurants around etc. But, I particularly valued how nice the staff was during our 3 night stay. I travel a lot and rarely find a hotel with uniformly excellent staff.

the staff were excelent! The hotel was really nice, good location! I would recommend!

This small hotel is located in a nice, quiet area. My room waa clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good and the hotel is a short walk from the nearest train station. Just a short train ride away from the Louvre. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is easily walkable to Arc De Triumph and the Louvre.
The staff were friendly, and breakfast was filling.
