This was our first time at Bailbrook and it did not disappointment the whole place was spotless and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We went for our 30th wedding anniversary and the reception brought prosecco to our room for us. Breakfast had a great choice and the staff in the restaurant were very attentive. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Bath,

We found a property that met all our needs. The property is away from downtown Bath but not very far. It is very quiet, and relaxing . The room was very clean and nice size. Staff are wonderful! Restaurant in the hotel is excellent. We will stay here again.

We had an enjoyable and excellent stay here. Every staff is perfect and always with a smile. They are friendly and helpful including the room cleaner. I would like to thank you the staff, Radu, who served us absolutely perfect in the restaurant. I will recommend this exceptionally good hotel to anyone who will stay in Bath.

Friendly and welcoming staff, good restaurant and excellent wine list, comfy bed and good room in the Main House. Let down a bit by breakfast in the newer section as it's much more crowded and less exclusive compared to the rest of Your stay in the Main House so felt like a more luxury evening experience and budget morning.

Nice hotel, we were not in the mansion house but that was fine. Room quite dark so needed the lights on during the day. Room spotlessly clean, bed really comfortable. Staff very friendly and happy to support. Breakfast was fantastic! Amazing selection of food including cereals, fruit, smoothies, pastries, full English, menu to order including eggs Benedict. Fresh juice, Tea coffee, all unlimited. The tea / coffee and toast is brought to you by the waiting staff so this eliminated a lot of hanging about and meant there was never a queue to get food. Location around 2.2 miles from Bath City Centre - nice walk into Bath but a bit challenging on the way back. We used Uber which was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again, we wasn’t in the room long enough but if you planned on spending time in your room then I would definitely upgrade.

My wife and I had a four day break in Bath and our stay at the Bailbrook was a delight. The room was spacious and well appointed with a large comfortable bed, although of the many pillows, it would have been beneficial if at least two could’ve been firm! There was even a television over the bath. The food we had was generally excellent save for the fried eggs at breakfast, that were overdone, under the lights. Free WiFi and spacious parking was a bonus.

Beautiful manor house. The room was good, not to my taste in terms of design (everything brown, photos on the website were showing different designs) but all of good quality. My husband didn't find the pillows comfortable (too big) but it was fine for me. The only inconvenience was that the cooked breakfast takes a long time to wait as you order it, literally like dinner waiting time. We tried to solve that by ordering to the room by a certain time the next day but they still brought it 20min later with a "sorry". Other than that it was a really nice stay.

Overall we had a nice one night stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We ate at the bar for dinner and the food was ok. The breakfast was ok but wasn’t standout.

Really welcoming arrival. Comfortable, clean and well maintained room. Arrived under the cover of darkness but the grounds would appear to be splendid. Great location too, easy to get in and out of the city centre. We would definitely stay again, preferably for longer and, depending on the quality of the breakfast, recommend this hotel to friends and family.

It’s a lovely property, we had a nice walk along the canal into Bath. However, the room was cold for an hour or so each evening before it warmed up with the aircon. The bar/resraurant was nice and warm but lacked atmosphere and was extremely quiet. Twice reception attempted to charge us for breakfast which we hadn’t had (and on the day we left we were actually checking out before breakfast was even served.)

Beautiful location and close to the center of Bath. Staff were very welcoming and provided extra equipment to help us with our baby. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was really tasty - both the buffet and made-to-order food. Nice fresh juice too. Would really recommend splashing out on this place - worth the money!

This is my second time staying at the hotel and equally as good as the first time. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel very quiet and not very busy even with a wedding. Breakfast the next morning was amazing! We had a choice of cooked to order and then a continental buffet. We filled ourselves up.

Lights did work properly in bedroom and toilet didn’t flush. Food lovely & bed comfortable. No compensation offered despite inconvenience of broken lights and toilet. An overpriced experience.
