Front desk staff very nice. We were checked in to a very old dated room right beside the construction, called the front desk and asked for a updated room away from the noise and they moved us. We really appreciated it. The restaurant upsatirs was great

definitely time for a renovation (which they are doing) but our room was an old one. Tired and dirty but livable. Pool area is great with warm water, hot tub and even hotter tub. Steam room has eucalyptus which was awesome. Proximity to everything is prime.

My stay at Glacier international lodge was amazing, staff is very friendly and helpful,I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful but has some age on it and it is obvious. There is no complimentary breakfast or usb ports for charging phones which seems a little outdated. There is also a huge parking lot behind the hotel which might be cheaper than what the hotel charges for underground parking. Would have been nice to have the option but wasn't informed when checking in. Overall expensive for what you get.

Great room and location

Was very hesitant to stay due to the construction. But they were able to give us room on the opposite side and it was very nice and quiet. Room was new and renovated and vew was nice as well. The stuff was very patient as i am super annoying customer and had lots of requests . They were very helpful and professional.

We were treated very well by the front desk. Very friendly and accomodating. They are doing some renos so a bit of inconvenience there.

When booking I contacted the hotel to request a renovated room after reading some reviews about ongoing renovations. Although check in was slightly delayed due to room
Readiness, I’m glad the hotel was able to accommodate my request and provided a renovated room. The location and condition of the hotel are great. Additionally the indoor pool, jacuzzi, and steam room were satisfactory.

Very spacious rooms friendly staff will stay there again

Banff Park Lodge staff treated us very well, all super friendly and helpful! The room with a balcony was excellent, thank you.
It's in a great location for transport, activities and restaurants/shops. The room was a bit tired but they're refreshing the accomodation at the moment. We found the AC very noisy and had difficulty getting the temp to our comfort zone. It was too hot for us.
We had to return for something left in our fridge and staff were extremely helpful and understanding. Would definitely stay if we could check on the state of the AC prior. Maybe the renovations will fix the issue.

Facility was dated and dirty. Receptionist was terrible! Only good thing was the proximity to shopping and dining.

Had the large parlor room
Bed was horrible
Very squishy

Hotel is in process of remodeling rooms. We did not get a remodeled one, in fact, we got the worst room in the hotel. View was of a wall of the hotel. This hotel had busloads of people in and out every day. A favorite for large tour groups. Our stay was just so-so. Front desk very helpful though.

We were pleased with the lodge experience. It was indeed clean and orderly and the staff was friendly and helpful re scheduling tour trips and town info.
Only suggestion is that because Banff has very limited parking and the lodge does have its own underground parking garage It was an unnecessary surprise to have them add on for overnight parking. Because a traveler really has no choice because there is really no other place to park other than the train station which is about a mile away.

This is a very convenient Inn to downtown Banff. Great location! Only half the hotel has been renovated so depending on where your room is, it could be very nice or ok (good but older). The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure for the shower was nice.

Nice place, super friendly staff. Grossly overpriced as is everything in Banff.
Handy location to downtown shopping.

We a group of 5 stayed in a suite. One of the bathrooms only has a tub with no shower head, a significant inconvenience. The night stands have no electrical outlet near them. The corridor is lined with used plates and cups and not cleaned up overnight. On the other hand, it’s a great location that is walkable to shops and restaurants.

Great and not so Great... location, location, location. This hotel was within walking distance of downtown and near a beautiful city park on the Bow River. The room was quiet, comfortable beds, the shower was AWESOME! The pool and hot tubs were VERY nice. Great service, well-kept and clean. The parking was convenient, but you had to pay separately for it :( Not so Great… We knew they were remodeling and that is where our room ended up. Due to the odor we requested different rooms. The staff was great and was able to move us, thankfully (be aware if you have breathing problems or sensitivities). The coffee maker in the room was drip and the coffee was TERRIBLE. I was disappointed about that. A USB port would be nice as well. There is no continental breakfast and/or coffee and ice water in the lobby. I think for the price of the rooms the hotel should be more hospitable in that area. I have stayed in other hotels (in a destination City) for a lot less $$ and had a Keurig coffee maker, complimentary ice water and coffee etc. In short I don't think I would return at the price we paid.

My stay was comfortable and convenient. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. I didn’t realize I’d have a patio; therefore, make sure to bring your own camping chairs if you’d like to sit out on the patio attached to your room. The in room furnace was digital and very easy to use. The pool area was quite nice and the hours were very accommodating. There’s no free breakfast included, but there is a restaurant on the second floor of the hotel or the 24hr McDonalds is only a few blocks away.

Lodge suites are huge — perfect for large family.
Not air conditioned. But very cool when the windows were opened.

We love this property, very convenient to everything. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We updated our reservation and was accommodated. Our room was good for 6 people with 2 bathrooms. The only downside with the other bathroom was it’s a jacuzzi without a shower. So with 6 people with only 1 full bath it was kind of hard although we got creative. 😀

Great staff, we moved rooms from original one to one with a better view. The concierge were fantastic. Helped so much. Crave Restaurant yummy. Great location. The shower needed instructions for top button. Room a bit dark. Would like overhead light and chair on balcony. And maybe ice bucket. But overall very comfy room, excellent staff and wonderful location.
