Close to the cathedral and the lake this is a wonderful spot for easy access to Como. I would have given all 5 stars but 2 more pillows and access to an additional blanket in the room would have been ideal. The temperature in the room was a bit cool for our liking given the recent dip in temperature on our end be night stay.

the room and how close the hotel was to everything. The check in was a breeze and we were up to our spacious room in no time at all. There is a lot of space in the room and it was comfortable. I would give it a 4.7/5 only because our room could not keep a wifi connection and there was no mini fridge. This was a minor issue because we were gone all the time. This may seem weird, but i relly appreciated that they kept the key at the front desk for you while you were out. The reception desk has a person 24/7 and it was nice not to worry about losing the key while you were out. 5 out of 5 I would stay here again. Walk out of the inner court and you are in the heart of Como.

Property is clean but VERY DATED! I was only here one night but must say for @$200 I expected much more. It was a huge let down upon my arrival in Como—almost scary as i walked down the hall to my room—old school for sure!!

Friendly welcome, clean room, on site parking, location in the middle of the Old Town, close to the cathedral. They need to help guests arriving by car a little, my navi did nor recognise that many streets are pedestrian. Best approach is head to the cathedral, along the train tracks, and turn left by the cathedral.

Perfect location in the centre of the old town close to shops, restaurants and waterfront. Onsite parking e18 per night but Google Maps will try and take you through the pedestrian areas. Hot humid night but AC no longer offered even though there was a unit in the room. The listing says AC is available but the owner / manager does not want guests to use it. Had a twin room but small uncomfortable single beds with only one thin pillow. Ongoing neck pain as a result. Despite these issues great value for money, nice breakfast and helpful employees in a great location

We had to leave 1 day before schedule. The staff was very helpful in refunding the last day cost for this Orbitz reservation. Orbitz was unreachable.

Excellent facilities and location for its category. However, it lacks a minibar just to cool water bottles. The breakfast is very simple.

For the price and location, this hotel is good value for money. Breakfast was basic but tasty enough. Croissants, cheese, ham, salami, yoghurts, cereal, coffee, jam and Nutella. Bedroom was basic but functional. Bed comfortable, air con worked well, shower good pressure etc. a fridge would have been welcomed.

This is a basic three stars hotel. However it is excellent if you are not after luxury. This is not a resort, this is a stepping stone for explorations and travels around Lake Como. Staff is very welcoming and nice. The rooms are super basic, however they are clean, comfy and quiet. The hotel is of course an old building without much charm but again decent. The breakfast if basic. The location si Amazing. You are in the heart of Como city, 5 minutes walk from the Ferry and 5 minutes from all cafes and restaurants of Como City Center.

Great location in Como and 10 minutes walk from the train station . Great staff and more than accommodating. My only problem was being an older very successful hotel that they don’t reinvest into better beds. The hotel can well afford accommodating and purchasing in bulk new mattress’s.

I was very happy with the hotel, given it was a pin-in-the-map exercise back in the depths of winter! It might, perhaps, be considered a little dated but that's not a consideration for me. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. The location was perfect, bang in the middle of town. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff.

Conveniently located close to train staion, buses, ferries, shopping and just across coop. Initially booked two nights ended up staying three 😊 Thanks to Claudia for great customer service. Would recommend staying at this place. Only thing to note is that shower is very small and it is okay for petite people but not for everyone.

Hotel was in walking distance to the train station, funicular and piers. It was very clean and the staff were very nice. The room was a good size with a modern bathroom. Breakfast was good. No fridge or tea making facilities in the room but other than that everything was very good.

Great stay! Can’t beat the location, minutes away from lake como and about a 12 min walk from the train station. Staff was friendly, got to check in early, room was clean with nice view into terrace. Breakfast was solid and checkout at 11 was very nice. Got to keep our bags there even after check out.

We had a wonderful stay. Big very very clean room & bathroom with coordinated hand towels. Beautiful crisp hypo-allergenic bed sheets. There is a lift. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Very convenient location. A few steps from restaurants, 2 blocks from The Basilica del Como, 2 blocks from piazza, 2 blocks from shopping/stores, & just $12.00 by taxi to San Giovanni train station. The staff were all kind & wonderful ! I will stay there again!

Very centrally located with private parking right in front in a 300 year old mansion. Very correct and polite service. The dining area is impressive with almost 6 meters to the ceiling and terrazzo floors, but also a bit cold and empty interiorwise. Breakfast was acceptable, - which is actually good seen from a tourist point of view. Would come back another time.

Firstly to start with the good... the location of the hotel is perfect. However the hotel is very noisy... heard the people on the room next door watching TV until 2am, their dog started barking incessantly at 7am and in a lack of tact by hotel staff they started vacuuming at 8am on a Saturday. Not a place to go if you want to sleep well and be well rested

Great location next to lake, restaurants and shops. Como ferry few minutes walk away. Hotel staff were very friendly. Room is very basic but clean. Transfer cost 90 euros one way, costly but efficient.

It is very centrally located in Centro Vecchio of Como. It is set back from the street with parking and a pleasant sitting area. 15 minutes walk with two cases from Como Nord Lago station. ( About an hour by train from Milan Cadorna station and a similar time from Malpensa airport with a change at Saronno)

The hotel was exactly what we paid for and expected. Room was clean and tidy. Check in and out was easy. A Bit strange they kept the key whilst we were out of the hotel, this had to be left at reception. Also the gate was locked after 12pm but could be opened by someone after ringing the doorbell. Hotel was in a great location around 5 minutes walk to the lake and well as to restaurants nearby. Very close to the cathedral. Overall easy and simple stay for a good price

The reception staff was exceedingly helpful when I arrived many hours later than intended due to theft of my wallet earlier in the day in a town 3.5 hours by train away.The following morning she helped me make necessary overseas phone calls to cancel credit cards etc. Then did not charge me any cost.I really appreciated her kindness.The location of this hotel is right in the middle of the old town. Lots of cafes, restaurants, musical buskers, great atmosphere!!It is about a 10 min walk from the Como S Giovani train stn, though the park.

Tre Re staff were excellent: polite, cheerful and helpful. The location is perfect for a short amount of sightseeing before hitting the road again. We ate in the restaurant too and the food was good.
