Groups of people smoking the hotel stinks and dirty

But we. Felt unsafe for the 3nights we were there. People rented a conference/ballroom on the same floor where people stay/sleep. On our 2nd night there was a party with random people roaming the halls and in front of the hotel entrance. We stepped out to grab food at night and couldn’t return to the parking lot because ppl blocked the entry. Though we asked for our room to be cleaned it wasn't and carpet was disgusting, brakfast was ehhhh overall 4 out of 10.

The hot water was not working in my shower. I called the front desk and after waiting for an hour gave up. The breakfast was not stocked throughout the morning, at 9am many things were out and the few that were stocked didnt get stocked until close to 10. The entire breakfast area was very dirty as well.

Great place. Price was right. Far from luxiourous but it certainly got the job done. Clean, comfortable room.

This hotel was very trashy, smoke filled, dirty and had various vagrants around the entrance. The hall carpets were stained and dirty. The room smelled of smoke, the furniture was old and damaged and the bed was bowed in the center. I am as concerned about bed bugs. There was a security officer at the front desk for obviois reasons. Unsafe hotel very dirty.

The carpet was dirty (dust balls near the dresser) the bathroom needed some TLC the grout had seen better days.

The front desk staff was a 10/10. I feel bad for the employees there. Shame on the Quality Inn and owner of that hotel. Slum lords. Smelled of cigarette butts, mildew, and mold that no amount of my perfume could hide. Hallway rugs were absolutely filthy. Bathroom growing black mold inside bathroom door, bathroom walls, and even on the hairdryer cord. Place is condemned. We were driving to outer Banks , got caught up in traffic earlier in day and was the only hotel that had a room near midnight.

Nothing. Exterior was clean.

Lack of house keeping, garbage in the hallway, fifty carpets. Homeless people trying to sneak into the hotel & begging.

There we drug deals and other "things" going on at the side of the hotel every night. Homeless where sleeping in the gazebo and it smelled of 'Grass' the entire time

Nice property and friendly staff.

I believe quite a few people “unsavory “ live at the premises

This is an older hotel, not very clean. There are definitely people that live there full time so you can only imagine the conditions. This is a pet friendly hotel and dogs were barking throughout the night. There were police that came to a room down the hall from us banging on the door.
The security officer was nice and the pool was pleasant. However, I would NOT recommend this hotel for families or people who like clean.

Around 2 am there was a disturbance with the people across the hall, two people arguing about something a few minutes into it I heard a child screaming, I called the front desk this must not have been the first time something like this happened because a few minutes later I heard the police banging on the same door to no avail, they then had to have the staff open the door I heard some scuffling then it stopped. I questioned what had happened at check out and how I was going to be compensated for getting no sleep after the incident being I was fearful for my wife and son trying to sleep in the same room. They proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do because it was a third party issue that they had no control of. I will not be recommending this or any quality inn to any one ever!

This hotel was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed out. There was no way I could let our children stay there. We checked in and then immediately checked out. I will address a refund when I return home. This hotel was unsafe and unsanitary.

The Quality Inn appeared typical of its brand at first glance, yet it differed significantly upon closer inspection. Initially, the main lobby resembled that of any other Quality Inn, leaving a familiar impression. However, upon moving past the lobby, a strong odor of cigarettes and weed permeated the air, accompanied by stained carpets on the first and second floors.
Hoping for a different experience in my room, I proceeded with caution. To my surprise, the room itself was free of cigarette smell, unlike the persistent odor in the hallways. Reluctant to make an issue of it after a long journey with my family, I quickly settled them into our room.
The following morning, I noticed the cleaning staff vigorously attempting to rid the hotel of the unpleasant odors using fans and cleaning products. I attributed the persistent smell to a guest who may not have been following hotel rules. While the odor improved during the afternoon, it unfortunately returned in the evenings, a pattern that persisted throughout our three-night stay.
I suspected that a long-term resident might be the cause of the issue. Consequently, I would not recommend this hotel for families. The pervasive cigarette smell had even clung to our clothes, giving the impression that we had been smoking heavily ourselves.
As we prepared to depart, we discovered a homeless individual sleeping in the gazebo within the designated smoking area. This observation added to our overall negative impression of the hotel's

Allergies flare up and smelled like smoke

Overall it was decent, I definitely wasn't expecting top quality. There are people living there and they definitely make it home. There was a loud party out back near the parogola one night when we arrived back late. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Although we asked for towels on the 3rd day of our stay and only got one. Its a convenient spot with tons of shops nearby, fyi this place is about 10 mins from the Sports at the Beach complex but close to 40-45 mins from the beach.

I have never stayed in a hotel so stained/mucky before the bathroom was awful it was just for a night so I did not bother to complain.. plus the staff was so friendly and great at check in.. very interactive. There’s not much around to dine just seems like a very small town.

Room smelled bad, was somewhat dirty. Some random clothes laying on the floor on arrival. Parking lot dirty and people hanging around. My car alarm went off once outside, not sure why. Sufficient place and convenient if you are going to Georgetown. Decent food nearby. Definitely got what I paid for, but nothing more.

I need to come to the area for sports at the DE Turf Complex. So this was a relatively close stay to the fields. Room had mold on the ceiling above shower. Stunk of Musty moldy smell. A/C fan worked in low on the high setting and high on the low setting. Staff was unattentive and overall, a run-down place that was lower than expectations. At lease have rooms that dont smell of mold and mustyness.

The staff and the hotel was absolutely great for our family.

Clean, no frills, relatively cheaper accommodations for
quality offering. Effective. Not for those liking better appointments of luxury, style, and perks for staying.

The staff is great ! However, that is the best thing about this place. Two lights in the room had no bulbs, and one other was missing one bulb out of two. Phone was unplugged, floor lamp was unplugged. The corners and the base board of the bathroom floor was so dirty. No extra toilet paper in the room, Not enough towels in the room for two people.

Front desk staff was friendly and professional.
Room was not so great. Stayed in the 130 range of rooms. Location of the room was great but the room smelled like an extinguished outdoor fire (a smell I personally hate), there was no trash can in the room and the toilet seat was broken (not fastened down so it moved alot when sat on), when you tried to open the fridge, it would pull up of the space it was in in a low shelf. Water was not warm and had to shower with cold water. Have stayed here before, on the second floor but had a much better experience. Very disappointed with this stay.

was there last year and room on 2nd floor this year too. there are steps down to the rooms yet the mini elevator that is used to bring your bags down those steps? out of order last year and this. not very convenient. yes, there is a luggage carrier outside this mini but now we have to unload the carrier, walk down the steps and then use the carrier left on 2nd floor. very inconvenient. the room was clean, just the bathroom needed the door cleaned. the shower?? best ever. and there were mats in the bath tub for safety.

It was convenient to highways and shopping.

Place was nice but loud. With the rooms having wooden floors everything echoed. And the rooms were not soundproof. The people upstairs were loud but not due to them doing anything but walking. Wheelchair accessible rooms...only full sized beds! What the heck?! We took a king room. More room and the toilet was accessible but not the shower. But nice hotel, nice location and friendly people

This place is clean and great for the price. I checked the beds and room very good for any signs of bugs ect and everything looked clean. The breakfast is good they have a hot skillet to make fresh waffles ,eggs and sausage. Great if you just need a clean place to stay for a great price and don't care about fancy amenities.

Close to stores. Quiet and clean.

The stay was very nice. The staff were the most pleasant and wonderful people I've met. There was a little unknown something beside the sink in the bathroom and the chairs were broken outside in the sitting area but overall a wonderful stay

Trash in the hallways, everything including carpets dirty. Kids playing in the stairwells, no soap in the bathroom. Abandoned shopping carts in parking lot. Breakfast was terrible a man was yelled at for using too large cup for juice - We went next door to Starbucks.

I enjoyed my stay, did not enjoy the roaches.
