Room very dirty, dirt in bed, nothing wiped down in a long time, cob webs, dirty bathroom
Floor, linens not clean, lady checking us in did not speak English. This used to be our favorite place to stay, we will no longer stay here.

Nice hotel. Older but really good. Great location near shops and restaurants in town.

Wonderful place to stay in downtown part of Steamboat Springs. Walkable to everywhere for shopping, river trail, restaurants.

Great spot! Cozy and clean! Everyone was super friendly!

Right in the heart of town-walkable to everywhere. Paid ahead of time on hotels.com and was then charged again at the property- they corrected it the next day. The coffee and warm scones were a bonus! Older hotel but clean and room somewhat updated.

Super nice staff, convenient location. Rooms are a bit out dated. Cute little hotel.

plenty good. excellent location.

This is the second time we stayed at the hotel in the last month and we would definitely stay again. The staff has been great. The location is amazing. Onsite parking is convenient and appreciated.
8.0
Great location. Room was a bit small.

I will not stay there again!!! The rooms are tiny, maybe 2ft perimeter around the bed. Kept hitting ourselves on the bed trying to walk around. The bathroom is about the size of an airline bathroom. Smallest most awkward shower imaginable. For them to charge over $300 is insane. The desk wasn’t manned at either our arrival or departure. The ice machine was broken.
The only positive I can say is the location, but I’m sure there’s better places.

We stayed at the Bristol for a family event. Let me start by saying that the staff was very helpful and very nice. The unfortunate side is this is more of a motel than a hotel. We had to change rooms after the first night because the mattress was obviously worn out and hard as a rock. The mattress in the new room wasn’t much better we aren’t skiers so we figured that staying in Steamboat Springs would give us a chance to explore the town. we did do that, but there isn’t much to see. The Bristol is probably your best bet if you’re staying in the town, but my advice would be to book at one of the big ski resort hotels

Had a great stay at The Bristol. Its location is probably the best to explore the old downtown area of Steamboat Springs.
The rooms are mostly up to date for an old hotel and the lobby area is sharp and inviting. Staff was super nice.
Couple of minor issues: air conditioning in both of the rooms we stayed in had problems and some minor repairs were left undone.
Would definitely stay again!

The location, parking and actual room was okay. Tiny room and bathroom but clean and king bed was very comfortable. It was very warm and the wall AC was somewhat confusing with remote control device. It really did not work as well as it should. The TV was so fixed to the far side wall that one could not totate to enjoy. The front desk was not covered that well however I was able to feet in the back office to tell me there was someone on duty. The big disappointment was breakfast. The place was very dirty already at 8:45 AM. No regular cream for coffee, cereal mess everywhere, fresh fruit looked like it was very old and the " scones" looked like leftovers.

Hard to find people at the desk…check in was okay but after that trying to get help,or questions answered was difficult.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, free parking, walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast looked mediocre, but Winona’s, a few blocks away was awesome for breakfast. We were unable to figure out the TV.

Bristol is a super cute boutique hotel right in the center of Steamboat Springs town. Walkable to all the shops, restaurants and bars. We loved the amenities that they offered although we didn’t have enough time to use them all. Will definitely return in the future when our travels take us back to Steamboat!

Room was very tight and had inadequate surfaces for organizing. Heater was difficult to adjust. Staff was great and location is awesome. Would come back.

The front desk clerk is super helpful.

Very small rooms, difficult to see on website. Heating was difficult to use. Kept window open during very cold weather to compensate. Staff was very nice, but expect accommodations to be comparable to a very old building.

The hotel was welcoming and comfortable. I absolutely loved our room, two rooms separated by a jack and Jill bathroom. We just wished the hot tub was working. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Definitely want to stay again next winter

We stayed in the Heritage Suit which is facing the from Grand Ave. So if your bothered by road noice it's not for you as well as right at the top of the stairs and everyone coming and going whether drunk or not we hear everything. The tub in the room was not clean enough to take a bath. Asked twice for it to be scrubbed on the walls and they said they did it but they did not because the very mark my finger made checking how clean it was (skin and hard water rolled up) was still there. So was pretty disappointed that I could r take a bath which is one of the reasons I chose that room.
It's an ok place. Likely won't stay again. Location is convenient to walking downtown for sure. That was probably our only preferred thing about staying there. Staff was also nice.

Location is awesome.

The staff is super friendly and the location is perfect. It you like historic hotels with charm, this is the place.
4.0
Pros: Friendly staff, great location in the town, comfortable beds.
Cons: Seriously outdated bathrooms, very small rooms with no place to store clothes, paper thin doors creating sound issues. Finally, when fire alarm went off there were no staff present and security company did not answer phone creating unsafe situation.

I cannot express enough how BEAUTIFUL The Bristol is. Parking was super convenient, right outside the doors. It was right downtown, so everything was easily walkable. One of the most highly recommended restaurants was actually right under/beside The Bristol (Mazzalo’s). The staff was so kind. The rooms are pretty small which was a little aggravating when it came to getting ready and having your suitcases laid out but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Just something to be aware of. Don’t be expecting a super spacious room. Only issue we had (and it wasn’t anything serious) was that we got all excited to use the hot tub after seeing it had the cutest little view of downtown, and it was FREEZING. Ha. Again - nothing serious. Just realize and enter with caution so you don’t polar plunge!

The Bristol is a perfect hotel for a couple or single traveler looking to enjoy the best of Steamboat. The location cannot be beat with a plethora of quality shopping and dining within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and quaint. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The free bus system throughout town and up and back to the mountain is excellent. No need to have a car. I loved everything about The Bristol and would definitely make this my go to when I'm in Steamboat.

So glad we chose the Bristol Hotel. Right in downtown, you’re close to restaurants, stores, and lots of things to do, plus you get the tre flavor of an authentic Western town with beauty and deep history. The hotel was comfy, cozy, quiet, and had everything we needed. The entire staff, from Hailey, to Jessica, to Jeff, to Cindy, were kind, helpful, and accommodating…no request was to big, and they treated us like family! I will definitely recommend this boutique hotel, with its rich history and wonderful staff, and plan to visit it on my next trip!

This hotel has location going for it, very convenient downtown and walkable to restaurants, bars, shopping. Great location. For the price paid, I expected a more upgraded hotel, it is getting a bit run down and not as clean as I expected. Eclectic and botique - yes. But they don't appear to be reinvesting in the condition of the facility to deliver a better experience for the price paid.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel is perfectly located in town. Our king sized bed took up most of the room, which could really use some updating. The AC unit didnt seem to work. Overall, a nice stay but not ideal if the details matter to you.

The location of this Hotel is amazing!
We were a bit disappointed the hot tub was closed this stay, other then that it was great.
The front desk staff was awesome and they had fresh coffee and delicious pastries in the mornings.
This was our third visit and have booked it again in December.

We loved the location and the charm of The Bristol. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was super cozy and comfy. Loved that there is coffee and tea available all day. Didn't use the hot tub, but looked inviting. Walking along the Yampa River was wonderful. Definitely will come back.
