We had 2 rooms and both rooms were 24 degrees on the air con making it unbearable to sleep..even when trying to turn it off would come back on automatically or when tried to turn temperature down would say 12 but would still blow out hot air all jight

We have stayed here before but our room this time wasn’t as great as our lat visit. The plug in the bath was broken and would not allow us to empty the water, the shower cubicle leaked everywhere soaking the bathroom floor. The room was very warm all night and it was too noisy to keep windows open. The breakfast was lovely same as last time we stayed, I expected higher end coffee and tea in the room not cheap Nescafé nice selection of teas though, and chilled bottle of water in fridge nice touch. We would stay again but would like to see significantly different up keep in bathroom next time.

Stayed with my 10 year old daughter, room was lovely, didn’t have time to use the gym but the pool was nice. Daughter and I loved the huge bath in our suite.

One night stay in Dundee, use this hotel most times I’m there. Comfortable, clean and in a great location.

We had a lovely family break. The hotel is located centrally so easy to walk to restaurants, shops. The only down point was how hot the room was, it made sleeping difficult even with the window open all night.

Very nice hotel - modern, good spa, good food, lovely breakfast and nice staff.
Only downside - they are very needy - always sending you texts and emails in advance, when you check in - during your stay etc.. really annoying.
Oh yes, and on our floor they left 5 cleaning trollies int he corridor which was also annoying.
Overall though - a lovely place to stay and good value.

Very comfortable room, nice furniture and decor. Breakfast was a MASSIVE let down, could not eat the cooked part, but the manager took the price off, so cannot complain, but such a shame as our day started on a bad footing.

Booked a 2 night stay to visit family.
We were greeted at check in by the duty manager who was quick, efficient and seemed genuinely interested in our reason for staying.
We were allocated a room on the 5th floor overlooking the V&A museum. Our room was spacious and clean with a 6ft bed comprising of 2 separate 3ft mattresses. This is always a bonus as there is then less movement disturbance from your partner.
Bedding was clean and soft and pillows comfortable.
The bathroom had a walk in shower as well as separate bath tub and a nice range of complimentary toiletries.
Despite being next to the busy Tay Road Bridge and sleeping with the window open, the room was very quiet.
We didn’t use the restaurant or leisure facilities during our stay but we did have a drink at the bar. Both nights the hotel had large functions happening but we weren’t impacted by this and found staff to be attentive and efficient.
Car parking is chargeable at £6.50 per day and there was plenty of space available.
The city centre is a pleasant 10 minute walk along the waterfront.
Overall a surprisingly nice stay. Our last stop here was post Covid and memory suggests it was a little tired and dated then. Not the case this time.
As with any Apex stay we got our free duck. A fabulous Dundee/Beano inspired “Splasher, friend to Dennis the Menace.

Another very good stay here. Rooms are great with walk in shower and bath tub as standard.
Excellent staff. Location perfect for V&A and other city amenities.

Excellent quality of fittings and decor in the public as well as our own room.
Only critique would be that the lobby bar area lacks atmosphere due to its layout and openness.

This is an excellent hotel in a great location. Very nice views of the water and easy walking distance to the historic center of Dundee. Restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner with reasonable prices. Had a spacious corner room with lovely water view.

Great stay. But platinum member and no upgrade and limits on free drinks too so disappointed in platinum VIP service. Nice stay though.
