Another great stay at Brasstown Valley! It’s only an hour and a half from our house, so it’s a great overnight getaway destination.
It was decorated for Christmas and we had a great time!

We stay at this property several times a year. This particular trip the 1st room was not cleaned properly. The 2nd room they put us in the fireplace was not working and had outside debris in the floor of a "cleaned" room. It was a disappoint because this is definitely not the norm for this place. Hopefully this was just a bad weekend for the cleaning crew.

We stayed in one of the cottages, 1302 and none of the outside lights except the one on the porch. No lighting at the steps from parking or the sidewalk. Pitch black in the dark. Heating unit in the room squeaked of and on the whole time.

The place was nice, maybe a little outdated. We stayed in a cottage, and the guests beneath us had a flooding issue happen overnight causing them to bother us at 5am. This was no fault of anyone's, but our water was shut off by the time we were ready for the day. The hotel clerks didn't ask about our stay upon checkout, so there was no ability to let them know of our discomforts.

The place just needs a good cleaning.

Our cottage smelt horrible. The bathroom had used towels and wash cloths in the tub. The ac didn’t work. The pillows felt like bricks

I was super impressed with the property! The lodge was so cozy with amazing fireplace and restaurant, they had archery axe throwing and horseback riding at the stables and hiking trails and indoor outdoor pool and spa and the rooms were super comfortable

I stayed at Brasstown Valley Resort over 25 years ago, and I’ve always looked forward to a return visit. The setting is as beautiful as ever, but I found the resort to be in need of modernization. Check in was quick but sterile. I felt like a number rather than a guest. The room was spacious, but in need of updating. Food and drink prices are quite high, and the resort fee is outrageous. Brasstown Valley Resort is in a beautiful setting, but unfortunately I cannot say that the experience is worth the cost.

Grill was closed for renovations, main restaurant was under staffed. Bar was over priced. Rooms were clean and quiet besides the barking dog at 430am. Couldn't complain too much for the price.

I enjoyed my stay at Brasstown. However, we didn't get to experience the dining as the kitchen was experiencing some issues. Hopefully, I'll get to visit again and try it then. Otherwise, expect an older crowd. It's quiet and relaxing if that's what you are looking for in this property.

We loved the drive into this property. The Lodge was fantastic and the ability to enjoy the outdoors was great. We loved everything except the rooms themselves. They seemed very outdated and not consistent with the efforts maintaining and improving other areas.

Everything was clean, staff very friendly, close to an event that we attended. Would stay there again!

The property is beautiful. Lots of things to do, from spa, to horse riding, axe throwing etc. the only thing that was extremely bothersome was that the AC in our room did not work. We cranked it down to 65,

Gorgeous mountain vistas all around! Several dining options. The menu and the food quality were very good; the service in the dining room and the bar was below average. We were a little disappointed with the room - a few signs of age still persist. Still, the property and grounds are beautiful - definitely worth the visit and would bring us back for sure.

We staying in a cottage, and cob webs were found through out the room, in the corners behind the TV, and we saw two spiders one in the corner of two walls and in the shower. The tub had some mildew around the edge where it was caulked. Also one or two floor titles were very loose. Outside of the room, there were wasp nest (with wasp) inside of the light fixture that was open.
The staff was nice, but if they are not cleaning the cottages more than this, I would not want to stay there again!

The natural beauty of the area around Brasstown Valley Resort is incredible. God's handiwork on display! Overall our experience was excellent. The only negative was that the Brassies Grill was understaffed every time we either ate there or tried to eat there. For the price of items on the menu and the fact that it was the only option for food at certain times at the resort, they definitely could do better.

It is a hidden gem in GA. I wish I found this place earlier. Beautiful serene property with many trails to walk friendly staff and delicious foods. I cannot ask more. Will definitely come back to get away from daily hectic life. I simply loved to be here.

The room was just ok for the price paid. I felt like it could have been cleaner. The food in the dining room was also just ok.

The check in was easy. The staff at the front desk was friendly. We checked in really later, after 11pm. First we were given an accessible room. After glancing at the shower I had to ask to change the room. The floor was super dirty. I understand it was accessible room but I just couldn’t use it. The second room had tub. It was clean. I was ok until I saw all 8 pillows were missing the pillow cases and they were piled up on the corner on the both beds. I was going to throw bath towels on them because my husband and I were really tired and wanted to get some rest after 11 hour drive. However after I saw stains on the first pillow I checked I decided to call the front desk and get all 8 clean pillow cases. I almost gave up the hope of good night sleep until someone actually showed up with pillow cases. The front desk lady said it usually doesn’t happen. I’m sure it doesn’t. So far I’m trying really hard to get not gross out about whole experience within an hour of checking in.

Overall, it was great. Bed sheets were weird with no fitted sheet. And the phone didn't work. Wish the restaurant was open later because after 9pm there is literally nothing open within 30 min. So even a condensed menu would have been nice.

Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa is a beautiful and charming property. I would also recommend services at Equani Spa. We would have stayed longer if we had the time.

Nice hotel sitting on a 5 star property with golf course ,horseback riding and hiking. I especially liked the indoor pool ,steam room and whirl pool.
The buffet breakfast and dinner were also nice. If looking for less expensive meals, the Brassy Grill serves great burgers and chicken sandwiches.
10 minutes from the Hiawassee pickleball courts.

We decided to take a trip to Brasstown Bald and chose to stay at this wonderful resort. We are so glad we picked this place. The staff are fantastic, the food is excellent, the rooms are super clean with fireplaces, and the property is beautifully maintained. We walked around the resort's trail and sat near the outdoor lobby to watch the sunset, enjoying the romantic atmosphere.
The only thing we didn't try was golfing, but we definitely plan to hit the golf course next time we visit. This is definitely our go-to resort in the North Georgia mountains. We can't wait to come back.
