Lovely hotel in a great location.

The showers had no safety strips in them to prevent falls, and I fell in the shower and tore the ligament in my left wrist. Eight weeks post visit. I am still trying to get my wrist back to normal. When it was reported to the front desk, their comment was is the management knows about this, but they haven't taken care of it. This is more negligence than anything, but overall the hotel and staff was great.

It just didn’t feel like a safe area. There were a lot of homeless people around the area.
4.3
Cigarette burns in the bed. Black tar marks on the walls. And to kick it off construction next to the room at 6 am. Disclose this stuff. 850 dollars waisted. Single mom who needed a quiet time due to major home issues. I just paid for more.

Upgrade to petco park view is worth it. Beautiful hotel. Will stay again.

We were in town for a concert at Petco Park and this hotel truly was perfect for us. The staff at the front desk were so great and parking is convenient even it’s a bit pricy at $60. They were fast and friendly. You do have to get your own luggage and bring up to your room as it’s a boutique hotel. Really nice and room was nice! Would totally stay here again as everything g was convenient and clean.
4.3
Perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy a Padres game

The stay was go but the problem with this hotel is that they had so many hidden fees, it was unreall.

The hotel is at one end of thd gaslights district. Many dinning options within walking distance. Being a member of the IHG loyalty program, I am confused on where this hotel rank among all the different brands. The room and amenities were nice but the towels provided were of a much lower quality hotel. I think even the Holiday Inn Express have better towels.
4.3
Excellent service at check in. The hotel was clean and the rooms very comfortable. We loved our stay and will definitely book again.

Will definitely stay here again

We had a great time. Everyone in San Diego was very nice and the hotel was close to Petco Park—we came to watch the Mariners take on the Padres. 😊

Very friendly staff and convenient location for the baseball games.

Great hotel and location. Didn’t pay attention no pool but that was ok. Bar upstairs was nice. Recommend.

Not at all worth the cost. If you want to spend this much money you should stay at the Pendry.
I waited for several minutes in front of valet for one of the three staff to come take the car, but I had to get out and ask for service. They told me to go in and "make sure I'd paid for parking" so I checked in and came back out and ask them to park the car. Not full-service luxury price hotel appropriate service.
The A/C wasn't working and I called and they sent up a box fan. Then they sent someone up who asked how long I'd been in the room before saying he fixed it, but the room never got below 75 while I was there.
The WiFi didn't work the entire time I was there. The furniture was scuffed, cracked, and peeling, which is expected at a Holiday Inn but not in a $400+ per night hotel. The bathroom lighting is not good, the paint in the bathroom is peeling and chipped, the floors in the hallway are dirty and you can hear everything outside of the door. The door would stick and I had to work to get it open from inside the room. Restaurant stops serving food at 10, no room service after 11, no wine/spirits/beer for sale at the lobby market. No bathrobe provided for your stay and the shower is so slippery I almost ate it multiple times. When I checked out the front desk staff did not follow up about the A/C or ask how my stay was, but they did refuse to let me check out 1 hour late, which wouldn't be so upsetting if the rest of my stay hadn't been so uncomfortable and unpleasant.

Our overall stay was great. 3 nights in a comfortable hotel in downtown right across from the ball park. Beware of the shower floor in room 1223. Very slippery and easy to fall if you are not sure footed!
4.3
Great stay at the Indigo Hotel.
One thing I have an issue with is one of the front desk people was a bit rude.
4.3
Everything was great, from the hospitality to the comfort of our room!
4.3
Always a great place to stay and very central to everything fun around downtown SD

The woman that checked us in was lovely and it was a good experience. The ac was a title strange but the rooftop bar was great. Overall good location and a good time.

Everything was so nice and clean

Great place to stay. I would’ve given five stars if the hotel parking wasn’t so darn expensive.
4.3
Terrible service. Unwelcoming staff. For what they charge, completely not worth it. Guests should be made to feel welcome. Not just a number at a hotel. The front desk person didn't even guide us to our room, didn't inform us about any of the charges until we overheard the woman next to her giving a full explanation and for us- absolutely nothing. I believe our receptionist's name was Harmony. But we only found that out later because there was NO introduction. The place itself is beautiful and they have a prime location but just a completely unwelcoming stay. Wouldn't ever dare to come back when treated as such. ALSO Valet upon checkout will take one hour to get your car. You're better off parking it on your own and not paying $59 / night for such terrible service. Don't try to make plans after checkout- you will run into a sardine packed lobby of frustrated guests trying to leave.
Nope.
4.3
Poor poor service. People at the front desk were cold and lifeless. The valet parking takes about 40 minutes for the car to arrive and they are confused. Finally, the bar at the 9th floor - you better be white to be served. They come up with all kind of excuses to not serve you if you look different.

Reliable

The area it’s in is great!

The front desk staff was incredibly friendly.

Was excited to try a new IHG property, however upon arrival experienced a horrendously long check in process that almost resulted in two charges. I asked what amenities were provided for our room of choice and we were assured that a refrigerator would be in the room. Upon arrival to the room, there was no refrigerator. Which we thought was no big deal but decided to contact the front desk to have the refrigerator placed into the room, we were told that it would be placed that afternoon. Then upon returning to the room that evening, there was still no refrigerator. The following morning we stopped by the front desk on the way out and questioned what was going on, and they stated that our room did not have a refrigerator included, which would have been not a problem if informed at the outset of us asking when checking in. To make matters worse, our room had hotel gifted toiletries (Cotton Balls, Q-Tips) in which the cotton ball had a blood stain. Would not stay here again. The only positive is that location to Petco Park.
