There was work being done on the apartment above us so a jack hammer was in use all day for a couple of days Management said it was a private apartment and out of their control

Stayed here a few times. Great location. All apartments have a great view. Getting a bit run down. Needs an update. Sliding doors don’t seal up. Wind whistling noises from ensuite window. Not bad for the price tho. Heated pool and spa was nice. Easy parking.

The systems are very different then other properties we stayed in earlier this year. Parking is very tight, it was very hard to park gls. Anyways, we enjoyed the stay.

Great size, good internet service , comfy bed, pillows terrible made sleeping difficult, lovely bathroom, age of the property was evident as the windows and sliding doors are eroding and wind whistled all throughout the indoors were difficult to close. We also had parking but were not able to use at all as first they forgot to leave map of space the next day there was a bollard in the spot and was not given a key till next day then the key to the bollard wouldn’t work and each time there were no staff to correct the issue. The unit was in a good area with nice views and the staff did attempt to fix our issues

Our stay was enjoyable and easy location to shops, restaurants and beach. Apartment view was breathtaking and large roomy space with all that we needed. Unfortunately having no air con in the bedrooms made it unbearable and hard to sleep for our entire trip. Other than this, it was a great place

The place has a great location and offers a nice view, but is completely filthy and run-down, overpriced for what it offers, the ceiling is peeling and some mould marks, I doubt they do any clean up between rentals and only rely on the cleaning done by the guests. The toilet smelling like wee as soon as we walked into the apartment, we informed about it and only the toilet and stains from the wardrobe walls and floor were cleaned. I didn't dare to use the toaster, vacuum or pots as they were disgustingly dirty, the fidge and cupboard were the toaster and microwave are have a very bad smell and were dirty as well as around and the stove full of food stains (lack of cleaning) and the cupboard on top of he stove sticky with grasse stains, everything super dusty. When I booked the place it stated housekeeping as included, but when I checked in was told there's no housekeeping and if I wanted it arranged would cost extra. Towels and bedsheets not changed once during almost a week stay. We had a few cold days and when the blankets were needed they had stains of all types from food to blood, I'm sure if a UV light is used this place would be closed for business. I don't recommend it, the only positive is the location, but not even accesible friendly.

Our holiday apartment was on second floor, very noisy. Garbage truck and maintenance vehicles woke us up before 5 am, the building’s aircon units were making noises all night. The apartment needs desperately updating, all furniture is outdated, the carpet is disgusting and smells of cigarette (non smoking room!). The customer service was also disappointing as when I expressed my concerns about the above, no one responded to my email or returned my call. Wouldn’t recommend this place to families.

Great location dirty apartment not the amount of beds requested and paid for. Arrived just after 4pm on a Thursday and was told nothing could be done until Friday about extra bed as office was closed. Also did not have enough towels for 5 guests.

Good Value for Money, great Views from our Ocean View Apartment. The location is in the heart of Surfers easy walk to Cavill Ave and even closer to Beach. Lovely Pools/ indoor and outdoor. Huge Two Bedroom Apartment a little dated and unloved but no big issue, had everything you need for a Good Holiday. Will be back again.

The Aegean Apts are 2 blocks off the beach and near the center. Great location. Can walk everywhere. Reception was friendly and helpful. We had to wait for our accommodation to be cleaned a bit longer than actually needed. The apt itself 6a was spacious and well situated. You had glimpses of the ocean and beautiful breezes. The condition of the apt is a bit run down. The carpet was tattered and ripped. The kitchen equipment was okay but sparse. No sharp knives. The pillows were very hard as was the bed . There is a washer dryer which was a plus We would book the Aegean again but probably opt for a different apt.

Liked the choice of pools. Didn't like having to pay extra for tennis racquets. Apartment was clean and had a large balcony overlooking the ocean. Didn't like the dumpsters and bins beside the entrance of the carpark lifts, the smell can get quite offensive during the summer. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Everything was great, surpassed my expectations. Small things like the towel hanger almost fell off, a few lights not working properly but these were minor. We managed. The best place to stay.

Has nice view, big space. Have all kitchen needs, fairly clean, indoor pool/spa. close to everything. Though the spa only worked on our first day. laundry washing machine and dryer wasn't working, alarm went off twice during our 3 nights stay. Turns out it was false alarm but here was no easy access to emergency chart or instruction. Didn't know where we were supposed to go to get to emergency point. Not so much recourses for tourists. Couldn't get more towel for free.

The room was not worth what we paid for it. It was the worst room I have ever stayed in. Dusty, old and ripped curtains. Dining chairs seat fabric ripped. Bathrooms really outdated with cracked tiles and pipes that sounded like they were going bang their way out through the walls. So dirty and dusty behind the bathroom door when you close it. The sheets were the roughest, scratchiest sheets I’ve ever felt. Could hear the elevator being used in the bedroom late into the night and early in the morning. I would not recommend this place.

A few tips to understand this accommodation. This accommodation is largely surrounded by other higher buildings that really obstruct an ocean view you might be thinking of. It's more of an ocean sneak peek. If you want ocean views ensure you get floor 22 and up or you'll be looking at "surf residency" apartments the whole trip. We were on floor 9 and spent the weekend looking at other facing balconies. The apartments appear individually owned (after seeing our friends apartment on another floor), so you may get unrenovated and dated, or the one we had was nice with no carpet and tiling in 9B - good kitchen. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom, just a fan. Having stayed before, I called to ask for a nice room and was told we have a nicely renovated one. But as far as the height and view.. it was just ok. The upside is the price and location of course. But if you are hoping for that money morning view over the ocean with a coffee this may not be the best place.

Our room was a two bedroom apartment. Very spacious, fantastic views, all the amenities in it you could need for an extended stay eg. washer dryer microwave cutlery crockery pots pans big kitchen. Great shower. Bed was big and comfy. Great balcony with table and chairs. Rooms are dated and carpet is well worn in spots. Not real clean. I dropped something and it went under the couch, so we tilted it back to retrieve it and there was a biscuit and some other stuff under it. We left it there. It smelt musty in the apartment. A/C units were filthy and filters had not been cleaned. We didn’t use them. All in all it was ok.

Lovely helpful staff. We were in 30c, great view of ocean including New Years Eve fireworks. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Unit was great with everything you needed and very clean. The only problem was shower was ran hot and cold in single room bathroom and bit of flooding in double bed bathroom. Highly recommend Aegean and will return.

The superior room apartment was amazing. Large in size and good for four people. There were two bathrooms which was great and the living / dining area was great. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our whole stay and the parking was free which was an added bonus.

These apartments are in a fantastic location however they are very dated. Our apartment was also dirty on arrival there was hair in the shower & in the bathrooms & not sure the floors had been cleaned. Thankful a vacuum was available. No daily room service. Reception work limited hours.

Room 25C - $2650 9 nights Great views/location.2 bed apartment was okay, but overpriced.Carpet Stained. Looked like it had a new kitchen and bathrooms in past few years…. However, just replaced doors and drawer fronts, inside of cupboards old, and chipboard perished.Standard of cleaning was poor.Stuff that has built up over period of time – filthy fan vents,dishwash door. I think we left the place cleaner than when we arrived. Fridge shelf had residue from spilt milk. I’d say cleaners change sheets and towels,and quick wipe over and vacuum. These apartments are dated and run down. Bedroom door handle loose (felt like was going to pull off). Told staff first day and said a tradesman would fix (was still like it when we left 9 nights later). Bedside drawer opens on its own.Blutack on inside that someone had put to try to fix it. Missing lightbulbs throughout apartment. When I asked about this,was told owners selling so don’t want to spend money on place.The windows in lounge, have aluminium tape round bottom of glass. Aircond – didn't work well - none in bedrooms. The pool area Outside Was okay, You have to walk thru reception and outside to get to pool area. People don’t dry themselves properly and there is trail of water thru reception into the lifts. Indoor pool area is dirty / run down. Plaster is peeling of the ceiling, a large chunk has come off bottom pool. Apt 18a Was worse (our friends were in it). Whole place needs overhaul.Most staff seem to resent working here
