All amazing!! Highly recommend this place to stay.

Had a very pleasant stay overall

We had a great stay at Fairholm! We were in the James apartment, which was very comfortable. The location is very convenient - so many places within walking distance. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Fairholm 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property was well maintained and had a historic charm. We drove to PEI, and I have some dietary restrictions, so it would have been nice to have had a mini fridge in the room to put some of the food items we had with us. They did have ice so we were able to keep items chilled in the cooler we brought. The rooms are a good size so it should be something for them to consider adding to the amenities.
Parking is limited. We were on the 3rd floor so trekking our luggage and ourselves up 3 floors was a little daunting. The facility is also not wheel chair accessible so I wouldn't stay here if you need that accommodation. The room was very clean but the bed was not the most comfortable. Furthermore, the light from the hallway was blaring through the crack in the door and with the bed right there it was hard to sleep. The second night and third night, I turned the two lights off and it was better with just the stairway light on. Our air conditioner was dripping on the floor when we got there, so we had to use a bucket so it wouldn't wreck the hardwood floors, but they replaced it with a window air conditioner and that was good. Overall, the hotel has the historic quaint feel of Charlottetown. It was walking distance to many restaurants in the downtown. If you don't require a mini fridge and don't mind trekking up and down 3 flights of stairs then it's a nice place to stay.

Beautiful property with lots of character. Good value for money. The outside of the building and the grounds are starting to look a little shabby and need a little tlc.
4.6
Fairholm did not have a record of my booking through Expedia. Expedia did not help me at all. The staff at Fairholm went out of their way to find us a room in PEI late at night. I was very disappointed with Expedias service
4.6
Room was a little dated, bathroom needed work, bathroom fan switch and tub plug did not work. My friends room was amazing, same category so guess hit and miss.
4.6
Amazing location, service, and room. You will not go wrong booking this location.

This is a really lovely hotel/B&B/private apartment in the heart of Charlottetown. It's actually three separate buildings, two of them more of a classic B&B with wooden staircases and "homey" feel; one of them a modern updated set of apartments with a private entrance. In between is a beautiful lawn with a pergola and seating. Altogether, it's in a great location walkable to everything in Charlottetown. The apartment rooms are VERY spacious and include private outdoor space -- highly recommend. Best part, though, is the service. The young men who checked us in and showed us around gave us great food and sightseeing recommendations and were very helpful throughout our stay. A great find!

a unique choice, staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy walk to downtown area and attractions. Free parking but beware of tree sap (luckily it washed easily off the vehicle)

The staff at Fairholm were extremely friendly! The french toast at breakfast was delicious!
We really enjoyed location, everything downtown was within walking distance.
4.6
Beautiful place near everything you need at walking distance. It was clean, i felt safe, parking was easy, it was easy to find, staff were very helpful! Its on my list to come back!

Overall a beautiful place. Bed was very creaky - anytime you moved then noise would wake you up. Seemed like a pump in the AC unit was broke as it would come on for about 3 seconds every minute on the nose making it hard to get to sleep. It seemed to eventually stop but well after midnight.

Excellent!

Washing machine/dryer is definitely a plus

Most beautiful property. Excellent staff.

We loved the vintage and unique feel of this place along with the friendly staff. They make your stay feel very personal. We loved that it was just a few blocks from the downtown area. The grounds were beautiful as well.

Very nice.
4.6
Very close to waterfront/harbour. Great selection of restaurants around property. Breakfast was very good (excluding coffee which was overly strong and bitter.). Hotel should have provided step stool to open Murphy bed. Remote control for television was very erratic in terms of working properly.

Just beautiful and an amazing breakfast.

Excellent property. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful. Young men working in main building were very accommodating polite and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed having a room with a large balcony. Only thing I didn’t care for was needing to request for clean towels and linen. However we were informed at check in to ask and same was granted each time. Thank you. Highly recommend the boutique!!!

This is how an inn should be run. Nothing too much trouble, excellent room and very good food for breakfast. Spotless everywhere, lovely public spaces and brilliantly located above the harbour/bars and restaurants.
4.6
We had a king apartment in one of the new buildings on the property, and it felt like home away from home. Plenty of space, a little balcony, and walking distance to downtown Charlottetown. The staff was helpful and lovely, solving a couple of issues we had very promptly.

Stunning room in a historic building. Very peaceful walk from the inn to the parking lot through their gardens.

Beautiful buildings and my king room with balcony was spacious and comfortable.

Beautifully curated room set in a 19th century Old English home. Modern and sophisticated touches. The coffee machine at reception is definitely a huge plus. Breakfast was fantastic. Sam our host was attentive, efficient and friendly. Would definitely return and recommend.

Fantastic stay for our wedding anniversary

A perfect 10 is hard to achieve. This property came very close. A lovely stay in a lovely house with very good customer service. The hotel reached out prior to my arrival with check in instructions and spent considerable time with me when I arrived, showing me to my room, how to gain access to the building and where to park etc. This was a great touch! The location was great and is within walking distance of lots of great restaurants. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I will stay again next time I'm there.
4.6
The after hours arrival process was seamless thanks to attentive front desk staff
4.6
The property was a nice historical home however small details in room needed attention, glue on shower wall and curtain from installation of bathroom shower rod. Side table in living area unstable because of uneven floor. Hot water required tap to run for a while before being able to use. No direction for tv operation. Difficult to access programming or options like Crave etc. No access to Kerig in main floor to make coffee or snacks. No reading material or information of things to do in the common areas. One person in a second site did booking in but did not have contact with them even though I was in a second site to check with me since I was staying by myself during my visit. No one on site to book out. Phone call to number given went to messaging and second time I phones went to a remote person. I asked for a text of invoice before I left so I could review charges but that did not arrive before I left the province. Felt like this site was not up to full strength for this time of year which made my stay seem unimportant to this hotel chain

A fun property. Nice people, nice room, great town. We look forward to staying here again.
