This property was amazing! Easy and friendly check in, the property was gorgeous and within walking distance to everything. Everything is well maintained and very clean. The parking garage is a bit annoying as it is very tight and asymmetrical, but manageable. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Our unit was very clean and spacious. Having a second bathroom was great. I had mine and my husband has his. Within walking distance to everything. The gondola was practically right next door and it’s free to ride. Even though there is no air conditioning we did not need it. The nights were very cool. Beautiful view and listening to the sound of the stream was comforting especially at bedtime.

The perfect Telluride location for an active couple. You can literally walk everywhere in both towns as the hotel is 100 yards from the gondola. Numerous hiking trails are walking distance from the room, which is amazingly comfortable and well appointed. A mini suite set-up with full compact kitchen and a separate half bath. An awesome luxury. Will be back as soon as possible. Phoenix will be 110+ for the next 2 months, so hoping “possible” comes quickly!!!

Great location and all amenities were fine. However, there is no air conditioning and room gets very hot during warm sunny days. It eventually cools down at night. Not sure if it’s the norm in this area to not have a/c but otherwise the location and room were great.

This was a great option for our family of 4 for an overnight stay for swim meet. Property in ideal location, above par amenities (pool, hot tub, steam room, waterfront, storage availability, common areas,etc. ). We chose this place due to the ability to have a full kitchen. Unfortunately, we were unable to get the oven/micro oven to work, but the stove top met our needs. Unavoidable downside was late night noise, round 1 ~10pm, round 2 ~12pm, and round 3 ~3am. Birds started at 4:30. Beautiful location and above par amenities, but busy night life location.

Highly recommend! Location is perfect: 1. It’s right next to the river which is lovely to walk along and listen to at night, 2. Perfect walking distance to food, shopping, bike rentals, park, and one of the gondola stations, 3. Parking is included and covered, and 4. The property is nestled perfectly away from the Main Street so it is quiet and provides the most lovely views. Property is clean and accommodating. Pool, hot tub, and steam room were clean and has the best views to admire while relaxing. We’re already planning our return trip to Telluride (which is dreamy) and without hesitation would stay at The Ice House again.

Great location in Telluride. A little older property, but everything you need such as restaurants, popular bars, grocery store, shopping, ski rentals, location to the gondola and most importantly coffee is within a block or two—really can’t beat the location. The staff was always available and accommodating and the cleaning service was top notch! The only issue we had was the continuous plugging of the toilets and broken bathtub water faucet handle. We made due, fixed it ourselves and notified the management. We will likely stay there again when visiting Telluride for a long weekend.

Everyday my Mother who was staying on this reservation had to go and get a new key made up an icy block away..she is 75, as the key did not last longer than a day (not next to phones or other cards). The room was never cleaned, sheets never changed in 10 days...no coffee, nothing in the lobby. They used to have coffee in the lobby, now nothing. Very little service from the front desk, almost non-existant, wont be back!

The good: the location was great and the staff was very friendly. The place was clean. The not so great: there was a light outside shining all night in the bedroom window (we put a pan over it each night after the first), the kitchenware was quite lacking (all the Teflon was scraped and coming off the pans), there was no real coffee table or ottoman in front of the sofa so it was not very comfortable to sit and watch TV, the temperature was very hard to get right - it was really hot, much hotter than the thermostat indicated, so we'd turn it down to 60 and wake up freezing, there were a lot of pillows but they were all cheap polyfill so quite uncomfortable, and the unit had a tile floor that was very slippery when you entered wearing ski boots. We would stay at Ice House again but probably not the unit we were in.

We got a free upgrade (thank you again!!) to this beautiful 2-bedroom unit with so much space and amazing view!! The room is spotless, extremely clean, and smells so fresh. We can’t find any flaws whatsoever. The kitchen is top notch. In fact, all the appliances, furnitures, bedding, EVERYTHING is top notch!! All the staff are also very courteous and helpful. We will DEFINITELY come back! :-)

I loved hearing the flowing river outside our balcony and the happy birds chirping each morning. I did not like the way I was greeted at the front desk when I checked in. I got an attitude that I was a bother. Not friendly or welcoming in any way. And I did not like that we did not have hot water on Friday night for showers. No hot water on Sunday morning for showers (we forgo them on this morning) and now it’s Sunday morning, no hot water. We are waiting for the maintenance man to get here here apparently. I did not like that we were told that the front desk is manned 24/7 and yet it took me 45 minutes of calling this morning to report (no answer at the front desk) the lack of hot water again. Hot water is a basic amenity in any hotel but to pay this price for this property and have continued problems - was really disappointing.

Our suite at the Ice House was spacious and clean; the kitchen was well-appointed. The bathroom faucets did not work well, however, because they had not been installed properly. This detracted from our overall experience of the place.

The building was centrally located to everything. SHort walk to the Gondola. Cleaned daily. Hot tub could have been hotter, but had a sauna which was a bonus.

Our stay was incredibly comfortable at Ice House, located just one block away from the slopes. We stayed in a spacious 2-bedroom condo and spent a lot of quality time together as a family. The condo appeared to have recently undergone renovation, as both the kitchen and bathrooms were newly equipped and convenient. However, it would have been useful to include the hotel name in the check-in description. Additionally, while we were able to figure it out the next day, an explanation of the heating system would have made our room more comfortable more quickly.
