This is an awesome place. It is beautiful, and the staff are aleays friendly. The only problems we ever have are with waitresses that forget about us... a lot.

Beautiful location with a friendly staff. The views are great and it’s right by the top of the falls. Each floor has an area with tables set up and puzzles out. That was nice to sit and work on a puzzle with a view when it was raining. The restaurant could use some improvement - food is standard buffet items, so ok but not great. The waitstaff can’t seem to multi task very well. The rooms are your average hotel room - a big soaker tub would be a nice addition if they ever do upgrades. Our bed was comfy and we had everything we needed. The outdoor area has a lovely fire pit and lots of sitting areas where you can relax and watch the sunset behind the mountains.

Beautiful view from the room! A muffin or something small to eat for breakfast (complimentary) would be nice along with maybe coffee in lobby.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the lodge. We were welcomed and checked in quickly. Our room was clean and smelled nice. We didn’t get to try all of the food in the buffet because they ran out of certain dishes before we got there. However, the food was good. Overall, we had a good time.

The views in the common areas and in the rooms were outstanding. The property takes advantage of the views and makes access easy for all. The outdoor area has many chairs, and the patio has fireplaces/firepits to stay warm as you enjoy it all.

It was good for the price. Definitely could use maintenance. The view was pretty. The AC was loud and the bed was very hard and made noise.

Such a beautiful property! You forget where you are and just enjoy nature. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We will stay there again.

View was excellent.
Dining area was outdated.
Breakfast sausage and bacon was clearly precooked and reheated.
The food in general at the hotel wasn’t good.

The view is breathtaking. Wish I spent more time here.

A good night stay and affordable. Menu prices aren’t too outrageous. They have ice cream to die for! Our room was very clean and in tip top shape

The setting of the lodge is perfect. Dinner was great, the dining staff was wonderful and a beautiful sunset topped off the evening. The room had a beautiful view of the mountains. My son and I had a wonderful stay to celebrate my birthday.

They need to hire more staff at the restaurant. The two staff members we saw were nice but they were overwhelmed. Food quality was just ok. The scenery is fantastic but there’s no other option for dining. Both times we are there, service was incredibly slow.

Power/AC went out, we were moved around a bit and not always someone around to ask for help but a beautiful setting.

This is such a beautiful place.
The surroundings make it all worth it. And the property is clean and well-maintained.
A bit tricky to find if you’re coming at night.

This was my second time staying at Amicalola falls lodge. It’s one of my favorites! I love the views and hikes around the area. It’s always a pleasant time here to connect to nature and have quiet time. However, I was here for my husbands birthday and they promised a surprise complimentary desert twice that we never got which was a disappointment. We tried to order drinks and we waited ages so left to another restaurant. Other than that it was a lovely time!

beautiful location. It's a simple lodge, no pools or any of that, but it's in a beautiful location with plenty of outdoor exploring to do. Every room has a view of the mountains!

The lodge and our room had beautiful mountain views. The staff was kind and friendly. The room was adequate but looking a bit tired- carpet coming up at the seam where it meets the bathroom, room was a little musty/damp feeling, but that may have been due to some power outages earlier that day prior to our arrival. The a/c was not working in our room when we arrived but they were able to reset it and it worked fine for the rest of our stay. The restaurant and bar closed at 8 and it would be nice if it stayed open until 10 - there were still many guests wandering the lodge past 10 pm.

Staff is so helpful and friendly. The view is incredible!! The whole park is beautiful and the lodge has so much to offer. There is a restaurant which is good but if you want anything they may not offer, it’s a 20 min drive in any direction. Not a problem if you are not needing to leave and we did not! Great stay!

The Lodge is located in the Amicalola State Park & the view from all the rooms is of the whole forest

It’s a nice spot but the room is pretty mediocre, especially for the price. Our bathroom door didn’t close all the way, there wasn’t a fan or a microwave, and the carpet was peeling. The restaurant on site was okay but not amazing, especially for the price.

The desk clerk was very helpful. She told us the best way for our party to look at the falls. It was an amazing stay!

Amicalola Lodge has amazing views. Shiela at the reception was awesome and made check in easy and welcomed us to the property. We liked the rooms, they are comfortable and have a nice view.

The setting in the woods, the waterfall GORGEOUS! It was convenient to have a restaurant in-house but it was a limited menu. No didn't find a pool, jacuzzi or exercise room (maye they have them somewhere). We enjoyed our stay; hated to leave. The views are magnificent. Such a beautiful setting.
