Very comfortable room and great service. The staff were attentive and always available to help

Staff on arrival prompt and friendly. The room was fabulous. Lovely dressing gown. Bottled mineral water replaced daily also tea coffee biscuits. My bed was so comfortable and I enjoyed the bath after my coastal walks. Breakfast options were top quality. Easy location for travel around that coast. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again. Loved the pillow mist spray for a restful sleep and the bath and shower gel and body lotion

We love Charlestown as we’ve visited before and it was extra special to be staying right by all the cafe’s & restaurants & the beach.

The room was clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the food was good, but the bathroom was too small and the shower did not drain well.

The view

I have stayed here lots of times in the past. The view from my room in T'Gallants was beautiful with views of the harbour and out to sea. Parking was free and there is ample parking in the car park.
Room was well equipped and comfortable, only down side was the bathroom size and toilet which is a tight squeeze for a larger person

Fantastic location and comfy hotel offering good accommodation and good menus.

Our room was lovely, well maintained, modern and very comfortable. We had a sea view room in the seperate building, it was a really large room. All the comfort and amenities you need. Central heating and a separate Dyson heater/fan for a quick injection! Great location, central to Charlestown and walking distance to the abundance of bars and restaurants in town. A really nice place to visit

Menu at the Rashleigh Arms wasn’t very varied for vegetarians. No salads.
Bathroom cracked tiles. So pleased I was tall enough to turn on the electricity to the shower.
Decor in room was very tired and boring.
A shelf for the coffee and tea making facilities as there were no surface space for cups, make up, hair dryer etc.

Had a lovely couple of nights in T’Gallants at The Rashleigh. Great room with huge bed and a view of the sea! 😊

Best full English breakfast that I have been served this year. Currently on 62 hotel nights. Room was good. But lacking A/C and the room was roasting. Parking was cheap as the machine was out of order. Would stay again, not prefer a room towards the rear. Funny room names 😏

Great location with super staff. Too few staff working the bar resulting in unhappy customers. Would’ve have preferred no smoking outside.

Every time we return to The Rashleigh we are amazed that the Team and the service just gets better and better. It is a very, very special place run by an amazing Team who care for every single one of their guests as individuals.

Where to start. Amazing welcome. Gorgeous room, Elemis toiletries, doggie welcome box with his own beer. Dinner was outstanding. All in all a truly wonderful stay and the service was so good.

The staff and service were faultless…as usual. The food was excellent with a reasonable choice of dinner options.
The bedroom was small but adequate for two people. The bed was very comparable and the area wonderful. The only minor negative point was that the bathroom extractor fan didn’t work which made the room rather steamy.

I didn't stay in the main building but a type of annex very close by. This was actually a benefit as no noise from the bar area and also fantastic views across Charlestown harbour from my window. The bedroom was clean, nicely presented and the bed very comfortable. The electric shower was a little casual for my liking but still functional and did the job.
The evening bar food and breakfasts were very good with a good range of beer albeit no Mena Dhu on draught!!
The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. I would stay here again.

Excellent service, lovely room and excellent food. Definitely recommend Ryan and the team at The Rashleigh Arms to anyone who wants to visit Charlestown.

Very nice property, room was lovely although it was over the bar and the music was quite intrusive late into the evening. Food was excellent, evening service was good but morning service, the staff were not as well presented or courteous. Great location and we would return.

Very friendly staff and lovely accommodation

Hotel was great, we had a large room in the additional t’gallant house nearby, which is also run by the hotel.
The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable.
We had one evening meal and all breakfasts in the hotel, there was a large choice, food was presented nicely and tasted good.
The hotel offers free parking for residents which is a bonus, though it is a cobbled parking area which is difficult to walk on.
Everything about the hotel was great, accommodation, staff and food, our only one gripe which was nothing to do with the hotel was the inconsideration of additional residents who were noisy late at night on returning to the accommodation

A lovely hotel for a short break. The staff were lovely and the food both at breakfast and in the evening were excellent. We would stay there again.

Great room, comfy beds with quality bedding. Good size shower. Lovely breakfast.
One suggestion is that the room could have done with a fan as the weather was hot.

Really enjoyable, good breakfast. I could imagine it gets really busy and noisy in season but February was quiet just what we needed

Staff amazing, helpful and friendly. Room nice but just standard. Shower needed a scrub. Shower room small. Stairs and 2nd floor stay, alot for my mother who is 79. Had to put heating on as room cold when we arrived. Cobbled carpark dangerous as no lights, so dark, nearly fell over few times, very off putting at night. Light to gate entrance to property also not working so again very dark.
Great views of the Harbour from the room. Breakfast was good, option of fruit would have been nice. Dinner was really lovely and tasty. Actually enjoyed our stay. Was nice to relax after an emotional day at a funeral. Manager was lovely to mum on her birthday. Well done to the staff. Thank you.

Exceptional welcome from Ollie. The premises were pleasing to walk into.
Our room was quite small and needs updating. Water marks on the ceiling!!
Despite this we had a wonderful one night stay. Food was good, staff fabulous.
Recommended.

Overall very good and will use it again. Room 5 was lovely with great views. Room cleaned every day to a high standard. Breakfast excellent and all staff well trained and friendly. 2 evening meals were also noteworthy.
The shower was weak.....needs attention. No one offered to help with our bags on arrival and we were on the second floor!!
Otherwise very satisfied.

Ours was a too short stay at the Rashleigh Arms en route to St Ives from London. This well appointed inn served as a comfortable and welcoming headquarters for our ten mile walk to Fowey. We even got the twin beds we asked for! - this is becoming increasingly difficult to come by as we travel. Everything was as clean as could be, though it would be better to get rid of the carpeting since it sets off folk like me who can’t help sneezing. However, the windows opened, which meant plenty of fresh air, so I came away fine. The bed and linens were perfection. I am not a connoisseur of washrooms, but I think it would be difficult to fault this one. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve enjoyed in 15 years of coming to the UK for walking trips. I must commend the maître d’ for knowing about the coastal path and advising on a good route out of the lovely village of Charlestown. We were also graciously assisted with securing a taxi to and from the St Austell train station, which is 1.5 miles away. Many thanks for the kind assistance!

The location is excellent for all facilities in Charlestown. The place is spotlessly clean and the room space was sufficient. The food in the Rashleigh Arms was really excellent quality and value. All that said, by far the best thing about the whole experience was the staff! Every single person is friendly, helpful and respectful. An absolute credit to the owners.
