The staff were AMAZING and are an incredible asset to this gem of a hotel!!! I would come back in a heartbeat!!!

Nice place we would to come back next year.
2.5
Older hotel that has been completely renovated. 1. Efficient check-in 2. Large, clean room. 3. Available washer/dryer. 4. Continental breakfast (with outstanding chocolate buns)
1.5
The hotel has such great potential, nice swimming pool, gym, helpful front desk and good continental breakfast. However it appears that the housekeeping staff are doing the minimum required, leaving the scope to do much better. In the bathroom the grouting between the tiles in shower was disgusting, not cleaned for a very long time. The wallpaper around the windows were lifting due to the window being left open at sometime, also causing the net curtain to be discoloured. The carpets in the hallways needed a clean, plus the paintwork sorted. The hotel is only a 7/10 and could be a 9/10 with some effort from housekeeping and the maintenance team.

The location of the hotel was great, a little bit of a drive but easy enough to get to Santa’s Village, Cog Railway and Flume Gorge. Room was a good size for a family of 4. The kitchenette does not have anything in it, so bring utensils, plates, cups etc or you can get disposable ones at the lobby. The room could have been cleaner. There were lots of bugs at night when the lights were on in the room, we couldn’t figure out where they were coming from because the windows were all closed! The pool area and game room were very nice. Parking was easy and included.

Was so pleasantly surprised at how chic This hotel was. Super comfortable and clean will definitely be back.

Great place to stay for local hiking trips. Clean and friendly service with light breakfast and pool as nice amenities. Also a good selection of nearby places to eat.
2.0
Comfortable and spacious room. Concerned about shower/tub combo. Non skid non existent and not something to grab other than glass partition. Otherwise it would be 5 star overall.

Most aspects were fine. If three people had parked within the lines for the parking spaces, I would not have had to use the secondary lot. Staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable, and I liked being able to open the window for fresh air. The pattern and color of the carpeting throughout the place must have been a financial decision; it certainly was not an artistic one.

I traveled with my husband, my two year old daughter, and our chihuahua. I originally booked Hampton Inn in Littleton, but I saw The Chandler and that it had good ratings. I thought I would give it a shot to stay somewhere local rather than a typical hotel chain. I wish I had went with my original choice. The pictures are deceiving. Rooms have hardwood floors that are dirty. There were a lot of flies. Older furniture. Beds were very comfortable though. We usually like our breakfast and I thought that since it had free breakfast that there would be at least eggs. I was wrong. It was a very mediocre continental breakfast consisting of toast, packaged muffins and pastries, packaged cereal, yogurt from a machine, and packaged oatmeal. The grounds were okay. Nothing special. Not to mention, it seems like this is owned by a Jewish community. We saw a lot of writing in Hebrew and there were Hasidic Jewish families everywhere. We are not prejudiced against them at all. They seemed to be prejudiced against us. They would stare at us whenever we would come around and they clearly spoke English. I was walking our dog one day, and I came around the back of the building to the patio where they were all congregated eating supper, and they saw me and immediately stopped talking and started speaking Hebrew once they saw me. Weird.. Oh and, at night, you can hear every door in the hallway slam as people come in and out. The place was very noisy at night. Wouldn’t stay again.

Second visit to this hotel—and glad to do it. The atmosphere is polished and pleasant—in the mountains with history all around. We went for a walk and read the multiple plaques that the town has erected in honour of it’s mansions (most now destroyed) while met by friendly children/adults going to the local theatre’s “kid’s day”. What a treat!

3:00 am wake-up to fire alarm, no evidence of an employee on-site, had to call the hotel to see if we could go back inside. We decided to just drive home. Tiny shower. Asked for an accessible room and was put on the top floor. Thankfully we are able to walk down stairs. Very inconvenient parking

The Chandler is quiet and clean. It’s not in a very walkable area but we liked the quiet. The room was spacious. They offered a nice continental breakfast. Parking was easy. The staff were friendly. We’d stay there again.

The property was run down; the rooms were big, but not really clean; I feel ever since the pandemic, Hotels have transitioned to minimize housekeeping; but then not require a deep clean during the checkout/checkin period; the front desk guy seemed to this feedback frequently, so was somewhat unreceptive - the breakfast was beyond disgusting, yoghurt squeezed out from a machine, toast, bagel and bread all packed in cellophane (talking about environmentally friendly), coffee also from a machine and not to talk about the paper plates and plastic cutleries. Bottom-line, hotel chains take advantage of customers willing to pay for the horrendous rates, not providing the service or any service for that matter. It was a terrible stay and if you like your place clean, somewhat updated and an ok breakfast then look somewhere else; this was. It worth the money I paid for.

Staff was amazing!
3.0
THE GOOD: They’re trying… the building is actively in repair with what I assume are upgrades and renovations. The staff is friendly and fast acting. The property is kept clean and modern feeling.
THE BAD: The property doesn’t quite warrant the cost per night. We didn’t have hot water Saturday night or Sunday morning which is an absolute disaster. The walls are pretty thin and the other customers were pretty loud (not during a busy season either). Other customers clearly cooking and partying which they tell you is not allowed. All of the surfaces seem to only really be surface clean when they need a deep scrubbing. Bathrooms need new grout, the layout of the shower is very strange as you absolutely have to get into it to turn it on. Make sure you pull your door closed as just letting it self close doesn’t always catch the strike plate so it may not lock behind you.
Overall, I’d say 4/5 as they are making the changes needed. It’s nicer than some of the other places nearby

There was no pool or sauna

We love staying here! Perfect location, a good amount of parking, and always clean. The pool is incredible, the sauna is great, and you're close by to everything Bethlehem has to offer.

Remodeling is going on. During my stay, the workers were sanding the drywalls right next to the breakfast area and during the breakfast time. Very dirty. The bathtub drain plug was not functioning, so water kept leaking out of the drain. Can’t have a bath.

My family loved everything about this hotel
5.0
Great hotel, very modern and spacious. The shower setup is somewhat strange (there’s a half piece of glass that stands between the tub and the rest of the bathroom with no shower curtain or sliding door; meaning that when you take a shower, water will likely splash onto the floor). Also, pillows are very thick and hard.

Kids though we were staying at thr Ritz. Its a nice property but some down falls. Parking is challenging if the hotel is busy. Breakfasts ran out of items and they didn't have back up. Cleaning is not daily which is fine but it wasn't communicated to us at check in. Hotel didn't have quaters so we couldn't play any games. The poil was really nice. Warms and great size. The construction in the pool area let my kids find several screws. No back up beding for pull out sofa. Shower set up so your challenged giving kids a bath or floor getting wet with shower head position. They had a nice gas fire that kids enjoyed. For the location and price i would return.

Very nice spot to vacation. close to many areas to visit
