My husband and I loved everything. Was very clean and loved the old feel of it.
The bed was too soft for my husband (he likes a rock solid bed and I thought I did too) but I LOVED the bed and slept like a baby

Unique hôtel. Well located.
Rooms that are by the Main Street are a bit noisy

The staff is very friendly and the location is the best for strolling down Main Street. The building is full of charm and you feel transported back in time. They have a few comfy rooms in the first floor for reading or playing cards with family and friends. The front room over looks Main Street and fun to people watch. You can walk to Schillings in 3 minutes and there is a beautiful covered bridge behind the hotel. Great for photos!
Could have paid more attention to cleaning. The bathrooms and beds were clean but the floors and window could use a little more afford. And the window shades fell apart if you touch them. That was a bit annoying.

History of the Inn, the amazing staff and location!
…that I couldn’t stay longer.

Loved it, stairs and all! Unique, cozy, dog-friendly, and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Behind the property a beautiful covered bridge and river.

Charming historic hotel in great location. Bed was very comfortable.
it was a cold night. steam heat was not running, we had to use a plug in heater which took a long time to warm the room (and woke up sweating in middle of night and had to turn it back down), hot water and water pressure lacking in shower

room was a little small

The room was comfortable and the location was good, in the middle of town with parking at the back of the hotel.
Walking distance to restaurants and diner.
Corey was very helpful when we needed two extra nights due to ill health.

Small room with roof line going through room and a pole behind the door
It wouldn't open all the way

Location and old irks charm
Breakfast was poor, no staff evident. No effort seemed to have been made, very sugar heavy pre packed produce.
2.5 / 5.0
it’s closeness to amenities & restaurants.
when we booked (8months ago) we requested a quiet room. we were told this was not possible as the hotel was on Main Street. when we arrived we had a room right in the Main Street. surely
any room elsewhere in the hotel would have been quieter right?!!
TV was old, poor reception & weak signal. many channels did not work and the remote had no ‘guide’ button so we could not see what was on each channel. so we gave up.
breakfast was poor - cookies had run out & we were advised to go out for breakfast. not good when there for b&b!!

impressive building well situated in the centre of town.

1. I appreciate the historical value of the property.
2. As soon as the dirty sheets were brought to the attention of housekeeping, Michelle apologized and changed sheets and made bed. (see below)
Our bed sheets were not changed between customers. (evidence of being slept in and dirt/sand on sheets) gross!, No staff available to contact for clean sheets until next day. window shades are torn and broken,(would not stay down) bathroom is dated (probably from the 1980's or earlier) (two faucet control). old fiberglass tub/shower with moldy silicone caulking. I understand that this is an old historic building and old features should be preserved however, there is no need to preserve a mid 20th century bathroom.

Staff was wonderful. Hotel was very quant, clean and historic. Love this area and will return again as usual, at least 2 or 3 times a year. Shillings brewery is a must!!!
Everything was wonderful

It was the most comfortable bed of our holiday! We’re just glad that independent establishments like this are still around.
It’s not a corporate/chain hotel (part of its charm as far as we were concerned) so it doesn’t have some of the facilities people might expect, for example a lift. This wasn’t an issue for us but might be for some people.

Thayer's is RIGHT downtown.... a great locus for exploring Littleton. The history interpretation in the lobby helped us appreciate where we were.
The bathroom is stuffy. Our bed was on a slant, with our feet about 6 inches above our head... of course we had to change ends, with our pillows falling off the end.... What? None the less, I got a decent sleep. Air con worked well... the historic element can not be under estimated!

Location, staff attitude was very good. Bed and linens were fresh and comfortable.
Plumbing needs extensive work. TV reception very poor.
Building needs a capex investment to paint the outside. Breakfast needn’t be Europe elaborate but if you’re going to advertise it, it should really include more. Juice machine was broken.

how central the location of the hotel was.
it really is an old property. so if you enjoy wonky floors. no elavator. no water pressure then the quaintness may win you over.

I do not understand why the hotel has charged $51.52 USD to my credit card, this is not correct.
The price for the bedroom was $149.79 USD. I need the refund of the $51.52.
Why this charge to my crédit card?
I need an explanation.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I left my binder on my car in the parking lot. A staff member saw it and brought my binder to my room.
The bathroom in the room is very small. The shower was small. I am 6'4" and I felt quite confined in the shower. Regarding the water, it took several minutes for the hot water to kick in. The sitting chair needs to be replaced. Not comfortable at all.

I loved everything about it!
