The apartment was fully equipped with everything you'd need and was modern, clean and comfortable. A minor hassle was the noisy air conditioner.

Nice size villa, has most things you need, and good quiet location. Two balconies was handy. Exhaust fan in bathroom broken and disgustingly dirty, so lots of mould around shower. Lounge stained and filthy, had to put a blanket over to sit on.

Not a bad place to stay to access the national park. Self contained unit was very big and had additional beds. Linen and towels aren’t included but can pay a fee for them to be left in your room.
Room had a good kitchen, as there is little food options in the area (except for the tavern which was very good) so bring food to cook.
Floor felt dirty, from sand I expect, which is to be expected in a beach side area.
I’d stay again due to its convenient location to the national park, and the easy check in process which just involved grabbing the key from a lock box.

Everything was good...although brighter lighting in the main living area would have been appreciated.

Good!

We thought the villa represented good value. It was spacious and clean. The kitchen had ample utensils and the bed was comfortable. It was cold when we stayed and the room air conditioner did a good job of heating. The hot water was powerful and hot. Showers have to be quick though as everything runs on rain water. Overall we were happy and would certainly stay there again.

Many things went wrong during our stay in your apartment:
1 - the apartment had a strong smell of a closed apartment
2 - the bathroom stall was dirty
3 - there was no internet in the apartment (different from what it said in the ad)
4 - there were mice in the apartment.
5 - I tried to call you anyway, but my phone had no signal (Vodafone)
Due to these factors, we were unable to enjoy our stay on a day as special as my birthday. I would like to be reimbursed for all the problems we had in the apartment.

Communication with the manager was great however the bathroom especially was very dated and had broken tiles and whatnot

We had an enjoyable stay, it was very quiet and comfortable.
The bathroom tiles need a little attention, overall it was very clean.

While the units themselves were okay with minor flaws like poor internet and limited kitchen utensils, we deeply resent being asked to leave by the manager, Brett Davies, when he demanded payment for this booking on the second night, which we declined. It had already been fully prepaid on the Hotels.com (Expedia) site through which the booking had been made and evidence to that was provided to him twice prior to our arrival. He claimed that this agency had not paid him. A late evening call by us to the very understanding website helpdesk, following an angry exchange on site, confirmed receipt of payment and seemed to avert our being summarily ejected, but there has been no apology. We left the next day and won't be back.

Fantastic location, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds.

Marion Bay is a typical small seaside town but is very close to the beautiful Innes National park. The local jetty is great for capturing a few good size squid. There are a number of walks locally and in the park. The Holiday Villas are comfy, clean and quite large. I would recommend them for a short or long stay(no laundry facilities though). Conjoined units could get noisy but no issues on our stays(twice)

The managers Elaine and Shane were very helpful and gave us there private cell phone number for if we had any problems ( which we did not have). We found Marion Bay very restful and enjoyed our 4 day stay . If anyone is looking for peace and quiet i would recommend staying here , it,s also a good base for exploring the bottom end of the peninsula.

Accommodation was quite good, just a few minor things, bathroom shower door had a slight leak and to be advised once you have arrived that there is no linen supplied, towels and sheets, was not convenient but available at a further cost.
The website for Marion Bay Villas and Hotels.com need to fix this. If I were an international traveler I would not be too pleased, who travels globally and fills their suitcase with linen. Please can this be corrected so as not to inconvenience further travelers.

A good spot for a relaxing holiday.

The property was well set up, great communication from Shane who really personalized your stay. Easy walk to the beach and the serenity there was amazing.
Very environmentally friendly but please get rid of the fragranced bin bags they stink the whole cabin out and can cause life threatening asthmatic attacks and allergies.

Good location, easy walk to the beach and easy drive to Innes.

Our villa was designed for people with a disability, so roomy, especially bathroom. Town facilities are limited so go prepared. The Bay itself is gorgeous and the nearby Innes National Park is a hidden gem with magnificent coastline and fascinating history.

We really enjoyed our time in Marion Bay. The owner and their service was friendly and efficient. The room was clean, welcoming and comfortable. We had more than everything we needed to be self sufficient. There was so many extra touches and things to do in the villa including appliances, games and a full bookshelf that you don't always see. The local area is small, quiet and there is a lovely pub very close by. We loved the villa and the area and we look forward to coming back for another holiday!

Good place to stay while exploring Innes National Park and Lower Yorke Peninsula. General store and friendly tavern with good pub food nearby.
