As advertised, the location was excellent. Obviously, the owners and managers of this property take pride and in what they are providing. The house, and supplies within it, were superior. We wish we had had more time at the site and the use of its amenities. Our son and daughter wished that they had had a TV in their bedroom, but that was the only suggestion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The view is spectacular.

The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. We had 5 different generations of females on this trip. The house was very comfortable for all of us to relax and sleep. The neighborhood was so quiet. The outside space for a flatland Midwest person was absolutely wonderful. Sitting outside in the sun or fog was so peaceful and calming along with watching birds and seals. Wonderful place to stay on our Maine vacation.

The house was decorated accordingly. Very cute house and relaxing. Plenty room for all of us .

If you have ever dreamed of living in a house on the coast of Maine, this is the perfect spot to indulge your fantasy. The house is perfectly located in a private and quiet community. It is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and well supplied for your comfort and convenience. Here you can experience stunning sunrises, the rise and fall of the tides, and seaside wildlife. The outside sitting area with fire pit can't be missed. What a view! Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, small coastal villages and harbors on the quiet side of Mt. Dessert Island are all close by for you to visit. The fall leaves and red cranberry fields were so pretty. The area has many great restaurants, and you can shop for food and supplies in nearby Ellsworth. My husband and I with our daughter and son-in-law spent meaningful family time here. I would love to return one day.

Everything was just as described. Susan is great to work with. We spent our time in Acadia and Bar Harbor. The house was amazing with everything you would need. We felt at home. The neighbors were very friendly, and we felt safe here. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

My wife, daughter, her husband, son, and his wife all very much enjoyed our stay at your lovely home! The home is a wonderful place to spend time just enjoying the wonderful waterfront views. We used it to explore the Bar Harbor area and ANP and also enjoyed the quieter side of Schoodic as well. An unexpected bonus was the back up generator providing power as tropical storm Phillippe came ashore and knocked down power lines.

The house was exactly as pictured! It was very clean, well stocked cabinets (pots/pans, etc.) & pantry! Beautiful views and sun rises! There were 6 adults and we all had plenty of room - we really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evening!

The property offered everything we needed - complete amenities and comfortable beds. The view was great. We appreciate all the cooking and baking instructions. They made is feel welcome and feel at home.

From the moment we opened the front door the view was unbeatable! The house met all our expectations. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, the furniture in the living room and sitting room was comfy. The outdoor grounds were immaculate and accommodating. There was SO many household supplies readily available for your cooking and cleaning needs. Waking up to the view every morning and drinking coffee listening to the waves, birds chirping and watching the seals was so relaxing. The washer and dryer was a HUGE plus

The property was extremely clean, beautiful landscape and outdoor seating, very well stocked. The property was private but still close to Restaurants and stores. Beautiful views of the ocean and private beach.

We loved our stay at Jellison Cove. There were 6 of us (3 siblings and 3 spouses) and there was more than enough room. It was the perfect combination of enough private space and large gathering areas when we all wanted to be together. We had a couple of questions during our stay and got prompt helpful answers. The view of the bay was amazing and the neighborhood was quiet. About 20 minutes to Ellsworth, 40 to Bar Harbor. Many good restaurants nearby and a very well equipped kitchen. We would stay here again!

This property was even better than we expected. It was quiet and had a great waterfront view. The house was very clean and well appointed. I would recommend this property to everyone and would book it again on a future stay in Maine.

Fabulous waterfront home had everything we wanted. The entire house was well equipped and comfortable. Close enough to many activities (Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Canoeing and rafting) while allowing down time/family time exploring the private beach. We sat around the outdoor fire table enjoying the night sky unimpeded by light pollution. We ate at a terrific restaurant in Bangor after picking up family at the airport (only 1 hr away). So many dining places to choose from in Bar Harbor and closer, on the way back to Jellison Cove. Lobster rolls at the Lobster Pound after a day of Whale watching were the best we'd ever had. We canoed on a remote pond at twilight searching for Moose (we saw 3) and bundled up in layers to watch a magnificent sunset at the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia. Need I say more?

Our family stayed here for a week. The house and property are very clean, comfortable, and well stocked/maintained. Waterfront view is spectacular.

We loved staying at Jellison Cove. The home had everything we needed. The back yard was very inviting and relaxing. Easy ride to Bar Harbor which we visited everyday. Loved Itty Bitty Diner down the street for an awesome breakfast. Thanks Brien for allowing us to book. You were very informative and helpful!!! I hope we will be able to visit again.

What a fantastic week we had in this perfect seaside home. Peaceful, well appointed, super clean and spacious, views to die for, wildlife, boats, the best location, generous amenities, and a gracious and available host. It could not have been better.
Even a rainy day didn't bother us because inside was so comfy and with the big windows we watched an eagle perched right on the big rock and mid tide for several hours while working on a puzzle.
Just delightful!
We will definitely be returning.

We consider this property our “second home” when visiting Hancock. The home is so spacious and well stocked. The welcome gifts from Brien are much appreciated. Brien has made major improvements to the backyard and they are simply stunning! He added a multi tiered area which offers exceptional views of the bay, including a marvelous fire feature, solar lighting and ample seating.
Brien makes himself available 24/7 to meet all his visitors’ needs. If you’re looking for an exemplary property which truly allows you to relax and enjoy your vacation, you need look more further than this home. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything , Brien.

This was by far the best rental experience my family and I have had. The house is so well appointed and comfortable that you feel as if you’re in your own home. This house has everything you could possibly need and more, from games and puzzles to a fully stocked kitchen and even baking essentials, if the mood should strike you. Let’s not forget the amazing views of the cove and beautiful private beach. My family and I spent hours each day relaxing and swimming by the shore and never saw another person. The house is on a quiet, secluded street but a short drive to many restaurants, stores, Acadia and Bar Harbor. The owner Brien was incredibly friendly, informative and a pleasure to work with and we hope to stay here again. Book now, you’ll be glad you did.

My daughter and I truly enjoyed our vacation to Maine and staying in the Jellison Cove house made it even more wonderful. The location to Acadia National Park, Mt Desert Island, and Bar Harbor was easy.
We loved the huge windows with the glorious view of the cove. We enjoyed being beach front and being able to walk along the shore. The beds were comfortable, the home is clean, and it was nice having our own space. Brien was a wonderful host. He was very attentive and accommodating. The home is stocked with everything you need!

Pictures don’t adequately show how beautiful and spacious this home is! Brien is a thoughtful host and was a pleasure to work with. We had 4 generations in house (6 adults and a baby) and everyone had their own space. The house is super clean, is well decorated, and so comfortable. The view of the water is fabulous and the backyard is beautiful with a glass fire pit, grill, and comfortable outdoor sitting and dining. The house is stocked with everything you could ever need and more. I would highly recommend staying here and hope that we get to come back sometime.

Brien's property in Hancock Pt was wonderful; it fit all of our needs. We 6 adults had plenty of space for ourselves and to be together. The house was well stocked, & Brien checked in with us after we began our stay. It is close to Ellsworth which is a picturesque town. We visited Acadia National Park, & a Granite Sculpture Garden and met Chainsaw Ray. Quite an experience. Golfing was good as well. We ate in some local restaurants as well as buying & cooking our own lobsters. The seafood experience was awesome! We all recommend this wonderful house about 40 minutes from Bar Harbor which was extremely busy & a great place to hike to Bar Island at low tide!

We stayed for a week with another couple at this gorgeous property. With all sincerity it was the best VRBO we’ve stayed in. The property is pristine (clean, comfy sheets, nice mattresses) and we LOVED having a well organized and fully stocked kitchen that you can really cook a nice big meal in (most rentals offer scant resources but not this place). Most rentals don’t provide the kind of amenities that this one does. Even the seat cushions around the fire pit for an evening fire were comfy and new. It was easy to walk down to the beach and look for sea glass in the afternoons. The owner, Brien, made an extra effort to have firewood delivered the very next day when we ran out and even recommended places to eat when our flights were delayed. The views are gorgeous and the privacy of the property offers peaceful seclusion. All the attractions of Acadia are not far. We sat on the deck and watched the seals play in the bay and eagles fly by. We couldn’t have asked for more. Absolutely would recommend.

This is a beautiful house in a great location. Far enough away from the crowded areas to make it serene but close enough to Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and more to easily make plans. We loved sitting around the fire pit in the cool evenings, swinging in the hammock, and having coffee on the upper deck to watch the miraculous sunrises. From the back yard watching the seals fish and play and the pair of eagles in the nearby tree was amazing. The house had everything you could possibly need for your stay. The owner is super nice and makes it a point to ensure you have the best experience you possibly can. Would highly recommend this house!!

This property is extremely comfortable, clean and easy to move into for a vacation. It is very well stocked with pots, pans, good knives and just about everything one would need. The location is wonderful for the ocean view, sunsets, bird watching, long walks and an easy drive to Bar Harbor. Wish we could have stayed much longer.

What a great house, property and view! The house was very clean and well-stocked with amazing views of the water. The house is right on Jellison Cove and you can hear the water at night - so soothing! The property was a great size - big yard with several places to sit outside and room to play yard games. We also enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit several times! I like vacations where there are things to do in the area, but I can also relax. This house and location were great for both. And Brien was the perfect host. He was friendly and helpful. There was a notebook with information about the house and numerous brochures of things to do in the area. Brien’s enthusiasm about DownEast Maine and his property were infectious! I’m definitely returning next year!

The house is fantastic - lots of space for the whole family. Probably one of the best stocked rentals I've stayed in - the kitchen has everything you could need and more, plenty of toiletries, and blankets for those chilly nights. Located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, we took full advantage of the lovely sunrises and sunsets. One tip for future guests - if you are in a bedroom facing the water, close the curtains before bed - the sun comes up much earlier than expected ;)

We had a great time! This home was beautiful, with up close views of the changing waters. It was a thoroughly well-stocked home, which made it easy to fix light meals between excursions. We enjoyed riding bikes in the evening, too.

The home was super clean and super stocked! We wanted for nothing!!! Brien rocked. He said we would fall in love with Maine, and he was right!! From Michigan!

Brien is incredible with his hospitality from start to finish. His home is simply amazing with all the accommodations included making the journey so much easier, and the experience more amazing. The pictures provided and words I could say simply don't do it justice. A wonderful home in a spectacular setting with an amazing host. Our first trip away from home after COVID was a lifetime memory for our family.

Wow! This place is beautiful! It was clean, had everything we could need or want, and the views are stunning. Brien was so hospitable and a great communicator. We highly recommend staying here! Our family favorites were the gas stove to cozy up next to while playing games or doing a puzzle, hunting for seashells & sea glass on the beach, and enjoying Acadia National Park which is a short drive away. Also, I went for a run most days we were there and the people in the neighborhood were very friendly. We are so thankful Brien and his family shared their special cottage with us. It was a great place to ring in the New Year!
