Beautiful views and plenty of seating outside.
Had trouble with the TV's and they did come and fix them promptly.
Suggestion--could use some wine glasses. Trash cans in the bedrooms.

We are so grateful for our time at this property. We celebrated our wedding ceremony with closest friends and family and could not have had a more perfect time or setting. The house is huge, open, and comfortably slept 12 adults. The outdoor space is idyllic. The sunsets are unmatched. The hosts were so kind and helpful. We would LOVE to return to this property sometime in the future. Thank you for hosting us!

The home and location provided the best 3 generation family vacation. We enjoyed the outdoors very much and very easy for our older parents to move around.

Fantastic and comfortable house we had a great time.

The house was gorgeous and had a lot of room. The only issue we had was with the storms happening, water got into the room in the basement and soaked the floor in the room closest to the stairs.

We had a family reunion in Norton Shores / Muskegon, using this house as our primary base and it was wonderful in all respects. The house is great for a group, and was well-stocked and easy to use. The living spaces are practical and comfortable, the beds were nice, and the back deck and views were spectacular. Would definitely love to return!

This was the perfect spot to celebrate our marriage and precious family, surrounded by the beauty of God's creation. The home is designed to accommodate large groups comfortably while offering a variety of spaces for one-on-one conversations. My kids and grandkids loved the beach while the older folks loved the decks. All areas were used and enjoyed. Many thanks to our hosts who made us feel like welcomed guests.

What a wonderful week our group had! This house fit our group of 10 adults and 10 kids (ranging 3 months to 9 years old) comfortably. We found 2 extra cots that come in handy for kids not wanting to sleep in the bunk room as well.
The house was incredibly clean and offered all the necessary amenities. It was great to have a plethora of extra beach towels the outdoor shower to wash our sandy feet. I was a little concerned about the steps to the beach, but the 4-year-olds had no problem navigating them up and down all day long!
You can't beat the location - not only beautiful Lake Michigan views and beach access, but a quick drive to Muskegon and Grand Haven.
We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this house - thank you for hosting our crew!

We loved our stay! Besides the excellent location on the beach, there is a boat launch close by for additional family fun. Thank you RandiLynn and Tiffany for being excellent hosts.

Loved our girls weekend at the cottage. It’s perfect for large groups, we had 8 women, it worked out great ! Appreciated the seating for eating and hanging out, it kept us all together even for movie night. The beach is amazing along with the views of Lake Michigan. The cottage was clean with a well equipped kitchen. Outside shower was a great idea for rinsing off sandy toes after walks on the beach. Hosts were great to communicate with. We are already planning to go back next year.

The pictures do not do this property justice. The layout, interior and beach at this property are perfect. We enjoyed a bit of a long weekend with our very large family. We were able to cook, play games and enjoy the beach. Simply magical!

This was a beautiful property-perfect for our family-and there is a house owned by someone else on a nearby property so we could have our brother and his family in that property. We had a wonderful time. Our mother recently died so since she had lived in Muskegon for 65 years we were able to have a nice Celebration of Life for her. Thanks

My fiancé and I wanted a small micro wedding with our families and a very small group of friends. This home provided plenty of seating options for everyone to gather together for this special occasion! There was a room that worked perfectly for a bridal suite for me to get ready in! The layout of the house couldn’t have been more perfect! The host was incredible to talk with, and make sure we had everything we needed. They were quick at responding, and very friendly. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone that wants a micro wedding! Even though we got hit with a surprise snowstorm during the ceremony, there was still room to have the dances inside. It was absolutely perfect!

My family and I stayed in this great place for three night, I do not know where to start, the place is just perfect, location while in cottage feel isolated, you will see deer and wild turkey, however it is 10 minutes away from the town. The view of Lake Michigan and the sunset is unbelievable, the photos do not do justice to the view, I will share some sunset photos with the hosts. Inside, every space in living area including kitchen and dining area open and have great view of Lake Michigan, skylights are just perfect for natural light. Main floor three bedrooms with its bathroom just great, clean, new, elegant, functional. Downstairs three bedroom with shared bathroom also very functional, all kids stayed downstairs and one bathroom was manageable since they could also use upstairs bathrooms. The kitchen contains everything you will need, it also has very nice telescopic smores sticks. Outside, there are three different areas, big table with chairs to have a meal with everyone while enjoying outdoor and Lake Michigan effect (sounds and breeze), lower deck with unobstructed view of Lake Michigan, fire pit area, and of course finally the stairs which take you to the beach. All areas were used by us and the whole family enjoyed every minute. The temperature was 40 degrees, two of the collage kids took a dip into Lake Michigan, they could not resist. I have reported to the hosts couple of minor things and they immediately replied back that they will take care of it.

Great location. House had everything we could need. Beach was beautiful. Totally private on first day, but then a large group next door came for the weekend and set up a large circle of chairs for two days. Our last day there, while we were on the beach, their cigar smoke came blowing right at us. I guess you cannot control the ignorance of some people.

The pictures do not do this cottage justice! The house was clean and spacious (12 adults). The beach was really big which is unusual now with so many places along Lake Michigan losing beach. We were totally psyched that the path to the beach was essentially "on" the property as the description made it sound like it may have been a bit of a walk. Not many stairs (maybe 50-70), but broken up to rest and nice because you don't have to walk on that hot sand. We absolutely loved the fire pit and used it nightly. The views from the deck were amazing and nice for elderly people not wanting to walk the stairs to the beach for sunsets. The bedrooms were spacious and mattresses comfortable. Lots of parking for those with people coming from all over.
I was hesitant to give this cottage such a great review for fear everyone will want to rent! :) Our family has been renting cottages on Lake Michigan and looking for our permanent Lake Michigan cottage and we have found it. We hope to return again.

This house is amazing! Its beautiful and very clean. The beach is stunning, and the water was great, there is a large area of sand and the kids swam and played soccer on the beach everyday. We were a couple of families that included kids and the house is very spacious. The bunk room was excellent for the kiddos. We really enjoyed the deck that has a perfect view of the lake, as well as their area off to the side where you can bonfire. We will definitely be back!

125 steps to the Beach! The house accommodated our group of 10 adults and 3 children very nicely. The views of the lake are spectacular and location private yet easy to get to and close to town. The kitchen is well equipped for large meal preparation and service. The indoor and outdoor dining areas are great and allow individuals to sit in or our and still be part of the meal. Two master suite bedrooms worked out great and the other two baths are nice for others. The great room kitchen, dining and family area has a nice lake view. The upper and lower deck areas are comfortable and relaxing. The fire pit area is a bonus that was well enjoyed (along with the s'mores). The hosts are great and accessible if there is an issue or question. Lots to do in the area if you want to leave the beach house, but if you want to simply stay in and relay on the porch or beach you can. All of us in our group highly recommend this property.

The space was perfect for our three generation family. The children loved the beaches and campfires. I loved the lounge chair overlooking beaches and sunsets. Cooking was easy in spacious kitchen.
Thank you for s’mores!
Only surprise was long climb to beach which was too much for older grandma.
Thanks for a great vacation!

The house was absolutely beautiful and the lake view was awesome!! We had some frustration with the ice maker not making very much ice. So we bought bags of ice. Those of us that stayed on the lower level, thought it might be nice to have at least another half bath down there. Since the other 3 full baths were upstairs. Since the lowe level can accomodate so many people. Also, it would be nice to have a shower caddy in the lower level shower to put things in. The other showers had built in shelves. These are just some of our observations. Overall, everything was wonderful and we all had a great week together. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

Perfect for our family of 14--grandparents, children and 6 young grandchildren ages 4-8. Beautiful setting in a wooded area. Struck by the stunning view immediately upon entering the home. We saw deer out the kitchen window more than one morning. Lots of room for the kids to run and play, enough room to either spread out or group together for meals. Enjoyed the fire pit, smores and the (almost) private beach. The steps to the beach were do-able for the grandparents, just took our time. (We did feel like we needed to keep a close eye on the littles when on the deck due to the drop off.) Would definitely go back again!

Often times the real thing doesn't live up to the pictures online or the expectations you set in your mind. But this place does. The house is spacious and wonderfully appointed. The outside decking is marvelous. The access to the private beach is user friendly, and the views are unmatched. Add in wonderful hosts who were incredibly responsive and you've got a recipe for a wonderful experience - which our family had. Thank you!

This home is amazing!! You walk through the front door and are immediately drawn to the views of Lake Michigan! It is stunning! There is a perfect patio with well positioned lounge chairs that are great for just relaxing and taking in the views. Plenty of seating at the outdoor dining table also. The fire pit was stocked and ready to go with wood, propane provided by the host for the grill and the fire pit that is on the deck. We ended our last evening roasting s’mores and it really was a wonderful experience. Inside, the kitchen is WELL stocked with about every appliance you would need (ninja blender, crockpot, etc). Bedrooms were lovely and the bedding was very comfortable. They supply plenty of towels and beach towels as well. The downstairs they supplied two fold up beds for extra sleeping needs. The hosts respond quickly with any questions and offered a nice list of things to do in the area. The Mac Woods Dune ride is a MUST (50 min away) and we also went to Lee Family farm which is awesome. We would definitely rent this home again, it made for a wonderful experience for me and my family!

You can’t get a better sunset view.
The house was just the right size for our family get together and didn’t feel crowded at all.
The beach was great for the kids, and it was close enough to Muskegon to enjoy the beaches there, or check out downtown.

I coordinated a trip for a bunch of college friends, mostly couples, from the city over memorial day weekend. Due to the size of our group (17 people, 7 couples included), we had a hard time finding a home with a layout that would accommodate us.
When we found this home, we were blown away that it hadn't been booked yet.
Tiffany and Randi-Lynn were responsive before we even booked, answering any questions we had about the location, layout, and amenities. They were also excellent hosts in general, leaving us a list of recommended local bars and restaurants.
The pictures do not do this house justice. It is spacious and very well-appointed. It's very isolated yet not far from town so you can run to the store or grab a coffee quickly.
The view is simply unbeatable, we watched the sunset over the lake every night and some early risers in the group (definitely not me) caught a sunrise as well.
Most rooms have en-suite bathrooms as well as two available for anyone to use, which made a trip with such a large group much easier.
The only downside was the long trip up and down the stairs to the beach access. While a hassle, is well worth the access to the beach on the property.
One thing to note that wasn't made clear in the pictures, the deck with the couches drops off down the dune. For our group of twenty-somethings, this was not a big deal but for a group with little kids definitely something to be aware of!
Overall, we had an amazing time, and loved this house!

We just completed a 5 day stay and had an amazing time. The house is clean and much bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside. Plenty of parking out front. Great views from every inch of the main floor. The upper and lower deck were an amazing hangout point for our extended family. We stuck Grandma and the kids in the basement and they were content with the bunk bed room, extra TV and foosball table. The private beach right down the steps (a mere 50 or so) made it just about perfect. Will definitely look to come back here sometime again!
