The bedroom and adjoining bathroom in this magnificent old house were the perfect alternative to a hotel when I was in town to participate in the 7-mile Bix run. If you're interested in a one-of-a-kind experience, I highly recommend Victorian Inn B&B. The owners are very friendly, the neighborhood is quiet, and it's an easy walk to downtown Davenport.

The owners met us at the door to show us how to gain entry. The couple showed their excitement for our arrival and the ability to get to know about us. The house was charming and I feel I need another stay just to have the opportunity to learn more about the family that built the estate. The home was large and boasted many Victorian age collectables. The room was large and felt welcoming. We were treated almost like royalty with the attention placed on making us feel at home and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and served to us on two courses. Their daughter, who helps with the day-to-day operations, was there in the morning and shared more about the details of the mansion. I truly look forward to being able to revisit, God allowing.

Great piece of history. Nice welcoming environment. Feels like you're coming home when you walk in the door.

The Victorian Inn is a great place to stay. Host Barbara and David are superb, and the breakfasts are magnificent.

Barbara & Dave are so welcoming & sweet. The place has so much character & is such a gem! If you’re staying in Rick Island it’s a must see!
4.7
Host was very knowledgeable about the area. Lovely antiques in the inn. The area felt safe. Appreciated having access to water, coffee and pop. Very easy check in. Breakfast was well presented and good.
Bed was very soft and uncomfortable. Room was overly warm and stuffy even with the fan provided.
4.7
Staying at a bed and breakfast is a lot different than your usual hotel stay. It’s more interactive and personal. The hosts at this place get it right. They are genuinely nice and interesting people whom I enjoyed hanging out with for awhile. The house was gorgeous and comfortable. I truly appreciated being able to stay here rather than at a big-box place.
4.7
The Parkers were very attentive and friendly and breakfast featuring a delicious quiche qmwas wonderful.
This is as advertised a Victorian Inn, very historic large house and big soft comfy bed with cool old furnishings and feel.
Thanks for the great experience Barbara and David.

The hostesses are so friendly, they have shown a great cares about the guests from the moment we booked to the minutes we left. The house’s rooms are beautiful, cozy. The breakfast prepared by the hostesses is delicious. We love the hostesses and the house. Thumbs up!

Such an interesting house full of history!

The property is an elegant old house, and the proprietors are lovely people. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the breakfast was delightful. In many ways, it seemed very much as though one was stepping back in time.
4.7
Bed & room were amazing! Breakfast was AWESOME & discussion with the co-owner, David, about history of the Rock Island area was terrific & most interesting. Due to decline of city of Rock Island after closure and transfer of International Harvester plant & corporate headquarters, house is located in deteriorating neighborhood but is well worth the stay and never felt afraid of area. Would definitely stay again if in Davenport area.

Really enjoyed the staff! Convenient location. Gorgeous old house!

A very interesting home with a wonderful history. We felt very welcome.

Beautiful inn that exemplifies coziness. Would suggest for anyone looking for peace and quiet, while stepping back a bit in time.

It's not a five star hotel, but I thought it was nice! Very cool people! Breakfast was great! I will definitely come back if I'm in the area

The experience hit a soft spot for nostalgia that I didn't know I had. It's charming and cute and the owners and family are among the nicest people I've met in a long time. The downside is that there wasnt a fan in the room (perhaps they could have provided had I asked) and the single pane window road noise wasn't ideal. But the bad was more than made up for by the good. 5 Stars plus!

Interesting and unique place to stay

Great hosts. Good meals and conversation.

This huge house was decorated in the period of the early 20th Century in a mixed historic area of Rock Island. The dining area was elegantly furnished with impressive breakfast place settings and food. However, we were dismayed at the cleanliness and decor of the 3rd floor dingy bedroom, (torn lampshade, broken shutters, spotted blue carpet, dated and faded bedspread, and bathroom/shower with peeling ceiling. etc. Bath is in need of major repair. Stairs up to the 3rd floor was dusty, shabby carpet needs replacement with proprietor's personal outerwear on steps.) We were told by another guest how wonderful the 2nd floor bedroom was as they had stayed there many times. This was our first time and had hoped to stay in the future as we travel to western Illinois many times in a year. We had initially requested the 2nd floor bedroom through Expedia, then, received a call from the proprietor asking if we could move to the 3rd floor attic room due to a double-booking of the 2nd floor bedroom. We MAY give this B&B a second chance due to the staff friendliness and beautiful festive breakfast. It is this writer's opinion they should never have rented the attic room accommodation to us in the condition it is in. We most like would unwittingly gone to another venue and tried this B&B another time as we enjoy staying at B&B's. I am saddened that I must be honest and write this review as I respect those who attempt to keep a historic property viable.

Finding Victorian Inn made my high school reunion even more pleasant! It was comforting to stay in a true Bed & Breakfast. Hosts delivered an easy experience and killer breakfast. The dining table place setting and meal was comforting and led to good conversations with the other guests. Thank you Parker’s! Your hard work and diligence will be appreciated by those who chance upon your property.
4.7
It was amazing, this was a 10 out of 10, The Parkers should write a book "This how it's done" for other B&B owners! We were greated upon arrival, shown around, given tips on what to see and visit. Wonderful coffee and Barbara's breakfast was outstanding! Davids knowledge and history of the region is very impressive. We can't wait to find an excuse to return!
4.7
Dave, Carol and daughter, Beth, were outstanding hosts. The Inn is gorgeous and full of history (Dave’s personal knowledge was a bonus). The house does need some cleaning, which is why we docked our scores. The grounds could also use some work.
4.7
Very unique and privately owned property. The welcome from Owners David and Barbara was warm and genuine. Room was large, comfortable and quiet. Really nice home freshly cooked breakfast to finish the stay.
4.7
Beautiful home. Amazing hosts. Will definitely be back!

It is a nice, quiet place to stay. It was special to stay in an old Victorian home with so much charm. The owners Barbara and David Parker were very kind and visited with us. We enjoyed that. The breakfast was very good. The Elizabeth room was very sweet. Thank you.
4.7
Decor is reminiscent of a age long ago. Wood carved moldings and staircase display workmanship of artisans. Breakfast and conversation was wonderful.
4.7
We had a wonderful stay. it was just like we took a trip back in time. David and Barbara are wonderful hosts.
4.7
The hosts were wonderful and the accommodations were great! We had a homemade delicious breakfast before we left. Such a charming place we will return!

David and Barb were wonderful hosts, lovely people.
4.7
I loved how they had their own personal items throughout the whole house!
4.7
The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was tasty. However the actual room needs better cleaning and the "king " bed were two beds pushed together and they were uneven and the mattress was not firm at all.
4.7
Barbara and Dave were excellent hosts and their charming home is filled with the soul of a bygone era.
4.7
Food was Excellent. Dust around upper trim needs cleaning

*Owners were very friendly & curtious
*Housekeeping was not the best...floors needed vacuumed...dust everywhere....bathrooms not real clean
*Breakfast was nice but 8a is early if you're out late night before
