Convenient for Summertown and Oxford centre. Parking a boon in Oxford ! Very unappetising hot breakfast - tasteless sausage, scrambled egg by the slice, and no sign of bacon !

Lovely quiet room, lovely staff, good breakfast and has parking. Short walk to a bus stop into town but not that far to walk. Perfect for our weekend in Oxford.

Great sized room and very clean. Attentive staff. Good location with parking, walkable to city centre. Only downside was a very mediocre breakfast (eg no bacon, poor quality sausages). Otherwise excellent.

Mybroom was really comfortable and I have stayed here before in different rooms. In my larger single room the bathroom has a crack in a floor tile which should be changed as it moves. Except for that it would have been 10/10.

An excellent overnight stay
The staff were great, gave me a parking permit and keys way before official check in time. The room was warm, clean and had lots of amenities and plenty of storage. Breakfast was fine and plentiful. Definitely stay again.

Just great experience. Nice and friendly personel, great location, large rooms.

We had a very comfortable one night stay at St Margarets - close to the city centre and nice breakfast. Perfect for what we needed.

Met our needs. Clean, nice staff. Good breakfast.

This a gem of a hotel. Some extra special touches were appreciated and the staff are fabulous. Beds are comfortable and rooms and thoughtfully furnished. Breakfast buffet great and replenished several times during service. They also have a lovely garden. Would recommend to anyone staying in Oxford!

This was a great value and a really lovely hotel. It was a little walk to the center of town, but there are several busses nearby. The breakfast was ok, but didn’t have British Bacon, or any bacon for that matter, which was a let down for me. More fruit would be nice and regular as well as fat free yogurt also. I may have been spoiled with my hotel in Wales! I didn’t care for the reed diffuser in the room. The scent was overpowering. One day my towels were taken out with no replacement. But, still a nice place.

This was walking distance to the colleges, but was away from the crowded thoroughfares. We particularly enjoyed the quiet summer breakfasts in the garden.

The hotel was amazing value, great location and a lovely room. The staff couldn`t have been more helpful

Been staying in Oxford at various hotels over the past 4 years whilst my son was at uni. Stayed here with my daughter for the first time. What a beautiful, friendly hotel! Wish we'd found it sooner. Excellent value for what was a luxury stay. Very close to the centre of Oxford, University etc. Room was really comfortable with a lovely view of St Hugh's College. Delicious breakfast and a spacious garden to eat it in. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Owners have thought of everything you need to make your stay memorable. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you

The property was a good location for walking around. Breakfast was nice in the morning. Be mindful the property has no air conditioning, so our room was warm and they expected us to sleep with the windows open on the 1st floor with no screens on the windows.

Nice and friendly reception

Comfortable hotel in a convenient location.

Enjoyed our stay in one of the large family rooms, suited our needs well and close to the university by bus or walking. Good breakfast, pleasant staff, easy parking.
2.5
Spacious, clean room with great amenities! Coffee/tea station was well stocked, good iron, fan to cool the room as it was a little hot, and television. Breakfast was great, nice selection of hot and cold. Used a parking space during the stay - very convenient. Staff all very friendly and accommodating.
Only negative was on my first night there was some works being done outside on the adjacent property, quite early in the morning, which disrupted my sleep/rest.
Location was great, I walked into the town centre each time (around 25mins) but there are also buses.
Lots of books and board games for those interested. WiFi was very fast.
Would stay here again for any type of trip in Oxford!

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Easy to get into the city by bus or walking (20/30 min). Would stay again!

Excellent staff, clean, beautiful room with nice touches. Close to central Oxford.

Breakfast was filling and in a lovely setting. Though this hotel is not close to town, there are buses that are convenient and inexpensive. The staff was very helpful with our big suitcase since there are stairs to the rooms.

The location is prime for our visit. Walkable to everywhere in central Oxford, the colleges as well as Summertown.
Perhaps the lack of elevator may be a caveat for some visitors but we are fine with stairs!

A lovely guest house in a largely residential neighborhood. Beautiful room with an enormous, deep tub, and incredibly quiet. Breakfast in the solarium had options for everyone, including gluten-free. Highly recommend!

Staff helpful in carrying our bags to the top floor. Also helped figure out my rental car GPS. Loved the neighborhood and walkable distance to city center. Enjoyed our stay very much.
1.5
Nice building, great location, nice large room, quiet. Good off-road parking. Some nice touches (board games, books, maps available)However, amenities/furnishings were cheap, tacky and partially faulty (technical issues, plumbing problems and other things not attended to during our stay). Staff were friendly and helpful but seemed amateur. Overall, the impression is that costs are being squeezed, and/or management is satisfied with the level presented. Service was haphazard and room was not thoroughly cleaned. OK stay but even at the relatively reasonable rate we (and, I suspect, others) will not return. A shame, because the property has real potential.

Lovely place to stay. Staff very helpful. Comfy beds and room was lovely. Convenient for city cente. Would definitely recommend.

Family-run small hotel. It is nice, but absolutely no frills. Location could be better (it is about 1km from where the action is). Breakfast is included and ok.
4.0
Nice quiet location. Parking was tight with only 5 spots (barely), room was dated but clean. Continental breakfast was good and restocked quickly.

The hotel is in a nice neighborhood opposite St. Hugh’s college, and it’s actually on the hop-on bus route through the city. This makes it very convenient for a visit of a day or two.
My room was small but clean and comfortable. As usual, you have to hunt for an available outlet to charge your devices, but there was one free.
The breakfast had something for everyone. It had nice hot choices, plus a good choice of cereals and yogurt, plus first-rate coffee.
You can walk to the city centre in about fifteen minutes.
It’s easy to find via satnav, and if the car park is full, staff will issue you a parking pass for street parking.

Cosy b and b, feels like staying at someones home in guest rooms. Close to town centre and easy access in and out of town. Board games, home like atmosphere. Love the soap scents in bathroom products.

The manager and staff went above and beyond to make a special stay memorable for a proposal.
I can’t thank them enough, and will be coming back again. (We have already stayed here on two occasions now).
Central, clean, very good service

Great location for a stroll into Oxford. Helpful owner, lovely breakfast. Walked into Oxford the day we checked out and told to leave the car parked at the hotel. Very friendly.
