My friends and I stayed for my 40th birthday. The house is lovely. The owner was super responsive.
The only issue is the house does not sleep 12. It fits 8 comfortably but anymore you will need air mattresses or sleeping pad.
The futon is not comfy definitely meant for one adult.
Overall we had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our stay. The lake access is so awesome!

I am local to the area, but booked this lodge for my daughter's 12th birthday party. The space was perfect, and the kids loved the dock and lake. The house was well appointed and had everything I needed to host and serve food. Plenty of space for kids to have fun and enjoy. I would love to come back when it's not rainy and use the beautiful patio overlooking the lake. Wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Very clean, gorgeous property and communicative owner. Location is easy to find. Just close enough to the city to explore Seattle but far enough that it feels like you’re able to get away from the bustle of the city. Will definitely consider this property for the future!

The house was perfect for us with a rustic feel and great lakeside view! Easy communication with the host. Perfect living large space for our group to hang out in with enough rooms for everyone to have their own privacy.

We loved our stay at the home on pipe lake. It was fun being in an old house and seeing the historical house picture on the wall. The view of the lake and the dock were spectacular. It was extremely well stocked with everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. I would have liked to get the check in information a little bit earlier rather than the hour before check-in.

Cute and secluded cabin with lots of space and great views/amenities.

This was a great stay for the 5 ppl (couple, 3 friends) we had stay the night after our very small wedding.
We have some great photos from our ceremony and the area is so beautiful. A very charming, 1940s built, lakeside home. It was exactly what we were expecting. Thanks so much!

We stayed here in May and as soon as I came home, we booked it again. We love this cabin, the location, and especially the lake. Once again the host was easy to communicate with.

To make my daughter’s 13 birthday extra special, we rented this cabin for the night. The girls had a blast in the lake and use of the equipment provided, we enjoyed a fire, and it was plenty big enough to sleep comfortably. Everything was great and the host was easy to communicate with.

The cottage is a perfect time capsule. Old school and charming but has everything you need and is extremely tidy. The dock was amazing and we particularly loved the deck overlooking the lake for our meals.

We had such a great time. The amount of lake toys was so awesome. We will definitely return.

If you like the classic lakeside old home, this is a 4.0 for you. I enjoyed feeling like I was living in a past era - like visiting grandpa at the lake with the kids. Beds and sheets were very clean, furniture was comfy, felt warm and safe being there. But have to deduct for dust and cobwebs needed cleaning, super small single bathroom, and wood floors desperately need care. Sorry, wanted it to be more, but not a 5 star place for the money.

A great place for a girls trip! The perfect cabin that’s tucked away, but still has easy access to Seattle and many other attractions. Kayaking was amazing! The deck was picturesque! And the fire place was so cozy!
Emily was timely with her responses. We had an issue with the outside motion light and she was very friendly and able to resolve the issue quickly.
We were sad to leave!

Lovely little cottage tucked away from the road and alongside a quiet part of the lake. Space was pretty much exactly what was advertised… full of charm and right on the water. I would envision the only drawback to this cottage is that it has a singular bathroom for 3 bedrooms to share, but otherwise a perfect location to host guests for a quiet lake retreat packed with board games and firewood for cold nights. The Close-out process was minimal, although I still take issue with rentals that charge cleaning fees but require you to wash dishes, empty garbages, and strip beds… while still finding lamp shades full of Cobb webs and surfaces that need dusting. The request to remove shoes while inside the lake cabin was also maybe a little much… it’s a lake cabin with wood floors, and there is a cleaning fee. That said, the Owner was incredibly responsive, and made our stay enjoyable and without issue. Lastly, would recommend the cottage parking area to be graveled,… in the rain it turns into mud and leaves no easy way to the front door. Net/net, still highly recommend.
