Amenities: Central heating and underfloor heating on ground-floor. 2 x electric ovens and grills, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. 3 x TVs with FreeSat and DVD players, Bluetooth speaker, iPod docking station, WiFi. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and travel cot available on request. Private off road parking for 2 cars. For extra cars, there is roadside parking on a first come first serve basis. Enclosed gardens, lawns, patio area, patio furniture, barbecue. Two well-behaved dogs welcome downstairs. Note: Bedding is feather with no alternative available. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 0.3 miles.
Town: Saxmundham is a small market town located on the River Fromus, in the heart of Suffolk’s Heritage Coast. The town is well serviced with independent shops, local museum, supermarkets and a train station, as well as art galleries, a weekly market and a farmers’ market. Situated so close to the coast, Saxmundham is a great base for a seaside holiday; within easy reach of Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, as well as Dunwich, Southwold and Walberswick, you could enjoy a different coastal location each day. Also close by is the inland market town Framlingham with beautiful historic architecture, a castle and an array of independent shops. South of the town there is the well known tourist destination of Sutton Hoo, an ancient Royal Anglo-Saxon burial site. With Ipswich an easy drive south, and Norwich an easy drive north, there’s so much to see and do in and around Saxmundham.
