Friendly staff. When it's not a holiday like my first stay, there's much more food options around and the town is very lively! Staff kept the cat away as much as they could when I mentioned my allergy.

Nearby the wharf, so, if you wish to go somewhere else rather than being in Bluefields, will be your best choice, in my case, I went to Orinoco, so, commuting to the wharf (pier) wasn't so complicated
At night, the corridor that goes from the street to the main entrance looks pretty odd, you always have to watch your back to ensure you are not being chased.
Also, you could improve a little bit the infrastructure by adding books or puzzle games or something to do at night.

Staff are super helpful with my questions on the messages here before and after my stay. The bed is super comfy. Basic kitchen but enough to make pasta. Big, clean bathrooms. Showers have good water pressure. Despite having pet cats and dogs, the furniture was clean of visible fur. Great location next to the ferry terminal. C40/pp for taxi from bus terminal.
Not much in the area, it was mother's day when I arrived so couldn't find food. Thankfully found 1 supermarket right before it closes and bought pasta to cook at the hostel. The pet cats are too curious, keep the bedroom door closed if you have allergies!

Good place if you’re staying in Bluefields for a night or two before heading to Corn Islands. It’s a small place but feels like home - we came back and brought more friends with us.
The host is very friendly and extremely helpful - he organised a driver to pick up our tickets from the bus station so we didn’t have to trek all the way there in the rain - much appreciated.
The kitchen is not very functional if more people staying but it wasn’t an issue at all.

This is THE place to stay in Bluefields. Ferci is such a welcoming and kind host you’ll enjoy spend some time with even for a short chat. The hostel is nearby the pier of Bluefields where the boats leave to the Corn Islands. Also, there are supermarkets & restaurants close by. Facilities are clean and the kitchen has all you need to prepare your meals. I’ve stayed both in the dormitory as well as in the private room and both are simply a perfect place where to stay. You can pay at arrival both in cordobas as well as in US dollars.

Excellent location. Walking distance to the ferry. The owner is amazing and so helpful. He even brought my bags to the ferry as the line up for tickets was taking a long time. My bus also arrived very late from Managua and waited up for me. Kitchen was available.
I could have used a fan over my bed as not much breeze was coming in the window.

Can't beat the location, right off the ferry dock.
The person in charge is a pure gem. Very present, answer ALL questions, very knowledgeable.
The room was fine, comfy bed.
The guest house is a work in progress that has a lot of potential. Very basic for now but they have a beautiful vision and I wish them all the best.

room smelt slightly like mold. my lungs hurt after I stayed. unsure if it was due to dust from the repairs they were doing or some other reason.

Fersi is very welcoming and helpful with anything you need to know. It's a great place to stay if you are on your way to Corn Island. The Place is clean and taken care of.
The dorm is a little small and cramped for 4 people but you can leave your bag in the common area. Not a problem at all!
