It was older than what I expected but clean and very quiet and low key.

Good value. A few areas could use an update- mainly the shower. Still cheapest efficiency I could find at the price that was walking distance to the strip. Would come back

Love the two bedrooms we had the living room with couch n tv n small kitchen with everything in it . The pool was great too!

Great accommodations and great location.

The room was spacious, it was clean. Staff is friendly. The property in general is in good condition and it is relatively close to main attractions. Cons: the rooms are not sound proof, therefore you start to hear noise around 6 am (neighbors, traffic, working sites etc).

Upgraded to a 2 bdr which was nice, if not needed. Exceptionally clean and outfitted. Very comfortable bed. My only complaint was being detained after checking in by 2 men offering 'discounts' which was an attempt to showcase time shares. Even after repeatedly stating I was not interested, they kept pushing. My husband had to intervene.

Great stay, friendly staff nothing too much trouble. We had a late night flight gave us a later checkout and stored our cases while we enjoyed the strip.

It was a perfect place for a family vacation. Off the strip so we could decompress but still close enough to waln everywhere. The pool and hot tub were open super late and the kitchens inside the rooms were fully stocked.

Great place! It is nice to have a kitchen. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Walking distance to the strip
Property is well maintained and the staff are very friendly.
We will definitely stay here again

Unit was very clean, bed was very comfortable, kitchen area was a good size and had everything we needed.
Within walking distance to the Strip ! Overall a great place in a great location 😊

There isn't a restaurant in a walkable distance to the Hotel and just a few dishes were available at the bar of the Hotel.
The convenience shop at is very poor.

Love this hotel and the location. Definitely will stay again

Great little room that reminded me of a home away from home. I loved the full kitchen, the separate bedroom from the living area, the nice secluded little patio. It was close to the strip but more affordable than the hotels on the strip and less traffic. The room was quiet and quaint. The hotel staff itself were very friendly and accommodating.
The only part that was uncomfortable was that when you check in they make you talk to the sales people across from the check-in desk to try and sell you some pyramid scheme presentation to buy into the Wyndham Resort Club. I was so tired by the time I got to the hotel I just wanted to settle in for the night, so I didn’t realize what had happened until I got to my room. I had to cancel the Uber ride for the 90 min presentation the next morning (on my vacation mind you). They charged $40 to get a $100 gift certificate if I went I guess. That part when you have to keep walking past the desk during your stay is a bit uncomfortable.
I still haven’t been credited back for the $40 and can’t seem to figure out how to get it back so I guess that is my “resort fee”. Still less than paying a resort fee at a hotel on the strip so I'll consider it that and let it go.
Overall, great stay. Just say no to everything else when you check in and avoid that counter as best you can when you have to walk past them to get in and out of the hotel to enjoy the sights and sounds of Vegas.

Great hotel! Will definitely stay again and recommend it! Finally a hotel in Las Vegas that does not have a casino in it!

We have been visiting this property for nearly a decade as it has gone through various changes. We were really happy to have food menu options on site and loved the simple and tasty items we ordered. Also enjoyed the upgraded furniture choices at the pool!

My family and I stayed at Desert Rose resort for 6 days and we were absolutely satisfied. With 2 kids, 3 adults, the 2 bedroom, 2 bath was perfect. Our room was spacious as we needed because we also had family and friends that came to visit. We were able to utilize the outdoor grill during the day and night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating in providing extra towels, pillows, sheets and blankets.
Some downside that others may find: there is 1 elevator situated in the middle of the hotel and it was small and hot; the smoking area is only downstairs; and maybe the room can be more modern. None of these bothered us though.
Overall, I am happy we picked this resort coming from NY. The sheets are clean and the room is nice and cool. Thank you desert rose!

Good Location, clean property
Limited food and paper thin walls, you can hear people outside, above and below you

The elevator in building 3 needs fixing. Invest money in it

The free parking was a big thing for us, super family friendly with activities every night by the pool. Would stay here again.

We loved the size of the room. We were disappointed that the elevator was not working properly, phone in the room was not working, air condition makes loud noise, bath exhaust is very loud and on top of that, location is right next to the Tropicana buildings that are being demolished. Workers start drilling etc at 6am! Parking was good, clean facility, friendly staff. Ok stay but could have been better.

The property was clean and the staff was fine - the ‘concierge’ staff was horribly rude, forceful, and violated my privacy rights as one shouted my last name (I was hesitant to provide) to his colleague.
The reservation staff apologized for the incident; however, the damage was done.
4.0
Staff were excellent; helpful and really friendly.
The choice of food available is limited but well prepared.
We would be pleased to stay there again.

Okay a bit dated

The room was nice. It had a full kitchen. The bed was comfortable. There was some noise, but it was minor.

The front desk staff were AMAZING, ACCOMMODATING AND SINCERE.
This will always be my first option when visiting Las Vegas

Pool was clean with lots of seating and shade. Room with kitchen was clean and kitchen had all the essential tools for easy meals. The location was a bit farther than expected from the main strip, so nice and quiet. Took about 10 minutes walking, but not a very nice or interesting walk.

Slightly set back from the strip this is a really nice apart hotel type setup. My room had a pretty well equipt kitchen, separate bedroom and bathroom and a living area. The room was well maintained.
The hotel itself was decent, this is tiny by Vegas standards but still had a swimming pool, gym and bar/restaurant.
Boring to complain about, I'm pretty certain I'll stay here again

The hotel next door was being torn down, it was very noisy. The room we were in not only had bugs in it, the sheets were dirty, floor was dirty, the door to enter where the rooms are was half broken so it was extremely noisy any time someone came or left. I would not stay here again.
4.0
Good stay but the elevator had maintenance issues and there were some crude and wild kids using the pool which made it hard to enjoy.

Love this place! Drinks and food are great! Everyone is especially nice. My only complaint was not have a working elevator in the building we were in. I will definitely recommend to this place to anyone.
4.0
Bed was quite noisy. Seemed like the bed would break if we moved too quickly. We tried not to move much when sleeping. Definitely could not use the bed without everyone in the suite hearing it. So Sleeping was all that could be done in that bed.

It was an awesome stay for our first time in Vegas. Everything was a great experience except the elevator in our building was being up graded so we had to walk around the building to the stairwell to the second floor. Also don’t get lured in to the concierge perks to getting cheap hookups. We had went to a 90 minute showing seminar that ended up being 3 hours long.
10.0
The elevator needs to be updated. The door is slow and has a chance to be stuck. Everything else is good.

Love dis place., Thankx for a great time..., I'll be back.

The staff was wonderful and accommodating! The room was clean. The strip was walkable or short Uber rides were doable

Loved this hotel. Fully equipped kitchen if needed, lovely comfortable beds, helpful reception staff, great pool area. Nice to have room with a balcony, wi-fi good.
It's a shame that guests are allowed to smoke cannabis as the smell spreads through out hotel!!!!

We love the Desert Rose, an oasis amidst the Vegas noise.
