The staff (Chris and Tee) are absolutely amazing and do everything to make their guests feel comfortable. The menu is not huge, and you may have to wait a while for your food but it’s tasty! We enjoyed the location and views and the feel of being part of a small khmer village. There’s a friendly and cozy atmosphere in the bar area. The dogs and puppies were really sweet. The beach was beautiful and it’s a very nice shallow bay. You can walk over to the other island resort in five minutes (many well tasting veg options!) and there are several treks that can be made to other beaches and parts of the island.
The description of the place was not 100% accurate though as there was no WiFi. The bungalows really need an update and to be cleaned better. Chairs were lacking both in the restaurant and the bungalow terrace. Many of the chairs in the restaurant area practically fell apart and were dangerous. Mosquito net was full of holes and the bathrooms were a bit smelly with frequent visitors of various small jungle animals (spiders, rats, frogs). The generator makes much noise in the evening and for a while in the morning, as this is the only source of electricity. Would be nice to move this further away in the jungle. Bed was not too bad, but the mattresses could be better.

Super unique stay. Workers were very friendly. Mozzie nets around bed and nice beach. Loved it here
Maybe take some snacks with you, as food can sometimes take a little while, which didn’t bother us at all.

Good food, sometimes the beach is nice, staff is nice, good price drinks, cute dogs, live-in staff is lovely.
Beach filled with a lot of trash, to be fair that is because of the tide, beaches on the other side of the island much cleaner. The toilet/shower situation was pretty bad. Even though they have to take well water, still no shower heads and you use the same bucket to shower as people use to flush the toilet and there is most likely splash back. Kactus is much better if you’re deciding between the two. If you book a cheap single room it is actually a hammock, 100% did not say that on my or the other peoples booking, triple checked. No fans in the room, very hot.

The best thing about the last point is the atmosphere and the staff. It is familiar and if there is time and resources, they are happy to arrange the little extra! You live simple and primitive and you leave the phone in the bag to experience and socialize instead. The islands scenery is beautiful, the food is really good and reasonably priced, and it's easy to relax and just enjoy life here. If you have a great attitude and can compromise away some everyday comforts your stay will undoubtedly be unforgettable. Beautiful swims, chit chat at the bar, volleyball games, blue plankton, boat trips, rock bathing and painting signs are just a few of the things you can do here. The stay becomes what you make of it, all possibilities are there to love this place!
I was satisfied with everything, but a tip for those who book is to carefully read the description of the room you book. If you want it more comfortable, book a private bungalow, otherwise you end up in a dormitory with others or a simple hammock in nature under the open sky. It is very sad that many of the bad reviews are about careless reading of the description, or that you are not prepared to live primitively - for many of us who stay here that’s the luxury!🌟

Amazing staff in a very peaceful environment! They take really good care of the customers and try to clean the beach as much as they can!
Good menu with menu items being custom-able to your choice.

The last point is the ultimate escape. With its simple island vibes and friendly staff, it feels like home away from home.
The beach here is something else – glowing planktons make for a magical swim at night. And the hostel? It's cozy and has everything you need.
If you're craving a break from the everyday hustle, Island Hideaway Hostel is the place to be. Just pack your bags and go – you won't be disappointed.

Waoh, what a beautiful island. Relaxed, calm and everything needed is at the spot. To reach THE L.P. take the boat from the marked point at Ream-Beach at 12:30 pm.

Now with beds in the dorm, solar power and wifi. A lot of effort is made to develop. The food is delicious. Nice community. So bring your books and enjoy the time to come down! Thank you The Last Point Team!!!

My holiday was just perfect. I booked 2 nights and stayed 5 and it was so hard to leave. I could have stayed forever. The place is so beautiful with banana trees and lots of sunbeds and hammocks to relax. They have a huge menu to choose from, with a lot of variety in the food. I love the red curry. The island itself is just stunning. Perfect place for nature lovers. Go on jungle treks and watch different insects and birds. A lot of things to discover out there. The staff of Last point is the best. Always open for a nice and interesting chat. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome on the island. It felt like home and I'll be back, for sure. See you soon, Tabea
Nothing. Just sad, I had to move on.

This place is so much more than paradise, it's home.
Beautiful island, beaches, jungle treks, and secret hidden spots all over the place. You forget about the rest of the world when you're here and instantly feel like a part of the community.
We loved the rustic feel of everything and to disconnect from the world, it's perfect.
Love the staff, they are all so warm, kind and friendly and super hardworking. It takes a lot of effort to look after and to maintain places like this cut off from the fast paced world off of the island. So we really appreciate all of the work and care that the staff puts into keeping the place functioning.
Everything was perfect. The island is amazing. The team is fantastic. My dog and I will always return for more. Love the KTK family.
I didn't like the fact that my holiday ended and I had to go back home. :( :( :(
