The communication with the host went very fluently. The host was very flexible and tried to make our stay comfortable. We arrived very late, but there was still a contact person.
The atmosphere on the boat and in the harbor was very special and cosy. It was a unique experience. It is very nice to have breakfast on the deck. Although the boat is not very big, it is nice there is a separate bedroom.
There is a supermarket in the harbor with all the basics you need.
The harbor was reachable by public transport (bus or subway).
The showers were, as indicated, on a walking distance, but there is a toilet on the boat.
Keep in mind there are quite a lot of mosquitos because you are on the water.
Stepping from the quay on the boat needs some mobility.

Everything. Even the fact that the Tv didn't work. ;-)

The novelty of staying on a boat in Barca was nice.
The general condition of the boat was distinctly average. Stains, broken trims, the fridge was disgusting (I didn't put food in it, it was that bad) - when it rained water pissed in through the skylight as it was broken, so all our things got wet. No mosquito netting in sight - massive issue on the still waters with no wind.. It's clear the boat we had was left at the dock because you wouldn't take it out in the open water in your right mind.

We booked this boat for the experience so we knew we couldn’t compare it to a 5* hotel.
The positive was the outside area. We enjoyed chilling on the sun deck at the front of the boat and having breakfast at the seating area.
Although we enjoyed the outside area it, along with the rest of the boat is very tired, dirty and needs a lot of money spending on it.
The fridge doesn’t work. We bought chilled drinks and food and put them in the fridge on arrival. Later that evening we went to use them and they were warm so thinking it was off at the mains we pushed the button for fridge and nothing changed. It was also dirty, rusty and broken inside.
Some of the windows didn’t close properly (some had locks missing) so day and night mosquitoes could get in. The only door to the boat also had gaps as there looks like the seal that was once there is missing and furthermore, it doesn’t lock from the inside.
The whole boat was dirty. There was a dirty sticky patch on the ripped vinyl flooring. The bedroom, which you had to crawl into had a damp and musty smell. It was so bad we couldn’t sleep in there. We realise that some people wouldn’t find this an issue but for us it was. We couldn’t get the TV to work in the bedroom but for us it wasn’t a problem as we weren’t there to watch TV.
The only washing up facilities is the bathroom sink which isn’t very hygienic and there’s no basic facilities like a toaster and kettle, not everyone drinks coffee.
We couldn’t find the WIFI that is advertised. When searching for the WIFI others came up that required a password for.
The location isn’t the best either. There are a lot of empty units at the marina. The owner told me in an email that there was a good choice of restaurants. That isn’t the case. There’s a couple that open during the day and a couple of different ones that open during the evening. The ‘private’ beach (as described by the person who checked us in) isn’t private. That’s not a problem but the two factories bellowing smoke from their huge chimneys right next to the beach are not only an eyesore but a health hazard too.
The communication leading up to our stay was quick but uninformative.

The Yacht was absolutely fantastic, an amazing experience and surprisingly very comfortable! Joan was incredible, so helpful and always checked to see if we was ok. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Will definitely book again, thank you so much for an amazing stay. Location was great, few minutes from the beach and around 15 minutes on the tram to Barcelona city. Nice little cafes and restaurants by the port and everyone was very friendly and accommodating
