Our lodge boasts 10 elegantly appointed rooms, designed to offer ultimate comfort and privacy. The layout includes two secluded basement rooms with their own entrance, kitchenette, and full bathroom - ideal for those desiring a quiet retreat. The main level features 6 diverse rooms, each radiating a unique charm, alongside 3 full bathrooms, a central kitchen, dining room, living room, breakfast nook, sunroom, and a handy laundry room. The second story is a family's delight with two interconnected rooms, furnished with one queen and two twin beds.

Step outside to a backyard oasis, complete with a firepit, swing bed, and rocking chairs on the front porch, inviting you to relax and enjoy the mountain air. Inside, unwind by one of the two elegant gas fireplaces or indulge in culinary delights with our gas grill. Our 7-person private hot tub offers a sublime retreat with splendid mountain views, complete with an abundance of hot tub towels for your convenience. We also have the perfect game room for our younger, or younger at heart, guests with a Pac-Man Machine, air hockey, foosball, and dart games!

The center space of the home, our chef's kitchen, is fully equipped with high-end appliances and all the essentials for creating gourmet meals. Dining is a grand affair with a large farmhouse-style table seating 18, an intimate 4-top in the breakfast room, and an additional 6-person dining table in the living room.

Entertainment is never in short supply with a spacious living room featuring a 75" TV and seating for 20. An integrated Bluetooth speaker system and Smart TVs in each bedroom ensure that your favorite tunes and shows are always at your fingertips.

This beautiful home is first class! It was the perfect spot for our large family from all across the US to gather together to celebrate a wedding. The beds were comfortable, the house was spacious and well stocked. It was a convenient distance from town and the hosts were so easy to work with and very accommodating.

First, our host Melissa was fantastic. Communication was flawless and all questions were answered immediately! The house was perfect! We had 18 sitting around the dining room table (which was a great selling point when initially looking for a home large enough to house our family) sharing food and laughter which was incredible. This was our first family gathering with people traveling from Colorado, Texas, Florida and North Carolina to be together and share good times and make lasting memories and we are so happy that this is the place that we chose. Copper Mines Lodge is not only beautiful but well appointed and has everything that is needed for an awesome vacation. It fit the needs of all of us who were staying there from 4 months to 70 years old!! The back yard with fire pit and gas grill and the game room were definitely extra perks that added to the great time we had! I can only hope that homes we choose in the future for our family gatherings are close to as nice as this home is!

My Mahjong group chose this house for a fall trip. The house is lovely, spacious, and very comfortable. We cooked in every morning and evening and found the kitchen to be very nicely equipped with everything we needed for a group of 12. The multiple coffee stations and electronic charging station were well used and appreciated. We visited Dahlonega and several vineyards all of which were short and easy drives. The only drawback is the road noise due to the close proximity to a very busy two lane road. This was only bothersome in the early morning hours.

We rented this house to accommodate our family's attendance at our daughter's wedding held at The Cottage Winery. This property has been equipped well and decorated tastefully. It was so wonderful to be able to seat our whole gathering at that big beautiful table! The property has been maintained well and the owners were kind and very responsive. The house is convenient to the wineries, hiking, etc. The only drawback is the closeness to a busy highway, but with a little planning and utilization of the owners' sound machines :-), all is good!

We had such an incredible stay at this cabin. We hosted our annual family reunion there and had so much room to accommodate everyone. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable and high quality. The kitchen had everything we needed to make several large family dinners. We all live within a few hours of Dahlonega and were pleasantly surprised by parking that accommodated 15 cars with plenty of space to spare. The back yard was a perfect place to let the kids run around and get some energy out during the day and the huge hot tub on the back porch was such a treat after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The host was overly accommodating and made sure we had a great stay. I would highly recommend this cabin for a large family gathering or even a group retreat. We all decided that this is the perfect place in such a great area and we plan to come back year after year!

We got off to a rough start as the host was on vacation and response was slow. However, ownership took over and made sure we were satisfied with the property. The rental was beautiful and had plenty of room for our family of 15. The final night we lost electricity due to heavy winds for several hours as we were heading to bed. The property is on a septic system, so that combined with worried travelers concerned about losing phone power for alarms added some stress. The property is next to a busy road, which gets loud in the early mornings. Recommend ear plugs or white noise. Overall, we had a great time at this wonderful property.

When we first arrived the place looked just like the photos. There was a leak under the kitchen sink…I called Melissa and she and her husband responded quickly. Everyday we were there we were harassed by the police (in my opinion I believe it was because we were black)…first they said a neighbor called and complained about the noise(this was before 10pm)…Melissa and her husband told us there wasn’t a noise ordinance. The next day the police claim there was a 911 call from within the house about the noise…(why would we call the police on ourselves). We had people to just show up/walk in without knocking…the kicker came when we left all of the false allegations about the damages she said we made to the property. My family member sat in one the chairs at the dining room table and it collapsed under them…Melissa was informed, but not one time did she ask was the family member ok…she accused us of burning a table that we never utilized the whole time we were there…she claimed we put grease on one of the Duvets (I asked for photos of the duvet and she never sent them to me)…nice place and if you rent from her make sure you take photos before and after your stay. Make sure to check the refrigerators, oven, and trash cans before you leave because if you don’t there will be an additional charge for that as well. My question is why is there a cleaning crew if the renters have to clean it before they leave. This whole renting experience was terrible to me.

Our extended family group of 19 booked this house at short notice after another reservation (a group of cabins) fell through. We had been hoping not only to spend time together as a family, but also to take walks and enjoy nature in the beautiful Dahlonega area. We didn’t realize from the advertising and reviews that this house is on a busy road (with road noise even at night), with little outdoor space (a small deck with hot tub and small fenced yard with a fire pit) and nowhere suitable to take walks. Just a heads-up for future guests! Pros: Nicely decorated, lots of space, huge dining room that accommodated all of us, comfortable house, plenty of parking, great wifi, high-quality kitchen equipment, fun hot tub, close to a winery and not far by car from town and shopping. Cons: Busy, noisy road as mentioned, no walking opportunities (not even along the road), and the kitchen cleanliness was below par when we arrived. Communication and responsiveness with the hosts also did not meet our expectations for a place costing us over $1000 a night; answers to questions like “is there a broom we can use to clean the kitchen floor” came slowly, sometimes the next day. In summary, we think this is a great place for a group wanting to spend time with each other indoors, but not so much for lovers of nature and quiet.

Where do I start, well location location location! The house is close by several wineries which was a big plus for our group. Also close by are several point of interest like Helen, water falls, mountains, wildlife etc. The house is fully stocked with everything that you will need to prepare a whole meal, grill some steaks, roast marshmallows. The distribution of the property is great, we had 18 people in our group and we were all comfortable, never felt crowded even when having dinner all together. Loved the dining table next to the fire place and the fact that it seats 18 people. A couple of minor hicups but they do not take away from the overall experience which was great. The host was very responsive and accomodating with our requests. I highly reccomend this place! Thank you for sharing your home!

We arrived to this beautiful cabin. We had 17 people in our group from ages 1-56. There were several different areas for naps for the kids, hang out for adults while kids were in bed and firepit out back was also great. We had a problem with the water but I texted and they brought over water for us until the fill truck could come. The bed were comfy, the fireplaces were cozy and there was plenty of parking. The kitchen had everything you would ever need, we even cooked our Thanksgiving meal. The coffee bar was awesome for a cup of coffee anytime. We enjoyed the location also close to the winery which was so fun for all.
