We had a fantastic stay. Owner was kind, responsive, and really went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. House is well-appointed and comfortable. The screened in porch was my favorite spot, especially with the hummingbirds flitting around. Looks like there are also some upgrades planned, which will make it even nicer. We mostly hiked — short drives to a number of trailheads; also close to towns of Tupper and Saranac Lake. We used the canoe and kayak a couple of times — boats are at the community beach/dock an easy 1/4 mi walk down from the camp. Would stay again.

We had a family gathering, and Bruce's house was perfect for that. Large and comfortable common area and dining area, nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Large screened in back deck, saw lots of hummingbirds feeding on the Bee Balm! Very nice beach area, we used the canoe and kayaks. Bruce is very responsive and generous with his time. Great location for touring some Adirondack highlights.

We decided to go to the Adirondacks for our annual "girls trip." We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It is an easy walk to the shared beach on Upper Saranac Lake. Central location: we went to the Wild Center, The Adirondack Experience, and especially enjoyed the Raquette River Brewery in Tupper Lake. There was plenty of room for 5 of us, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked as it is his family's vacation home. The well water was cold and refreshing. The screened in porch was nice; we didn't use the firepit as it was black fly season. The hot tub was under repair. The host was very responsive; and questions we had were answered quickly. We are already talking about returning next year.

Bruce was great to work with. The house was ready for us, and despite a lot of snow just before our arrival, Bruce had the driveway plowed and clean. The driveway is pretty steep so 4wd is recommended in the winter. Cool house with a lot of charm.
