Unfortunately, we weren't able to check in because they were fully booked.
The owners attitude was very disappointing, to say the least. I had made the booking for a couple but they were turned away on account of being fully booked. When I called the number available, the owner picked up, I told him the situation and suggested that they take off the hotel from the list of available properties, but he was downright rude, asking me what business does he have with bookin.com?, and that is it booking.com that runs his hotel for him? He said I should go to booking.com hotel and stay there.

Cozy property.
Polite staff.
Cozy bar.
24/7 Electricity.
Sandwich complimentary breakfast with Tea/Coffee and instant powdered milk. It was not super, but I commend the effort.
Small rooms.
Mould infested ceilings, especially in the bathroom.
My room was on the ground floor and outside my bathroom window was the changeover box for Public to Private Power Supply. It was annoying when the security men go to change over. Windows of my room (106) does not close well either exposing me to mosquitoes and potential security risks.
Pricey food for the quality and portion size.
Poor housekeeping within the room. A lot of corners had not been touched. Housekeepers do not move items to clean the room.
Noisy ground floor environment. The seat-out area on the ground floor is noisy.
Filthy bathroom walls, buckets never washed with old scum stuck to the buckets, water bailers never washed. Mirrors stained with toothpaste lather, etc.
Broken furniture, fittings and furnishings.
Poor lighting in the room.
Lots of young ladies lodge in the hotel. Now depending on your personality and ''wetin you dey find'' as we say in Nigeria, this could be positive or negative.

Decent location. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The reception and kitchen personnel especially. Air-conditioning was good along with the power.
More attention needs to be paid to maintenence. Water pressure was poor in my apartment. Intercom didn't work. Bathroom need to be upgraded to an acceptable standard. The electrical switch powering the A/C in my apartment was exposed.

Friendly staffs, the receptionist was exceptional(I don't remember her name). She always had ways to de-escalate tense situations. Re: when I discovered my side mirror was vandalized.
Small car park - I parked outside, my side mirror got vandalized
Complimentary breakfast arrived late

From the reception , I was informed my reservation was cancelled because the nightly rate on booking.com was way below their standard rates. I could either upgrade to 75000 naira a night or find another accomodation at 10:35PM in Lagos . After informing them I was going to arrive late and pay in naira due to the traffic from lekki to Ikeja on a Friday evening . It was a nightmare

The environment was really calm
The cupboard in 105 needs to be repaired, the water heater need to work also, the air conditioner remote wasn’t working too, I thought the room was going to be big because of the amount I paid.

I didn’t stay at the hotel . When l got there, the place looks very stuffy and cramped. Though a very new building but no space for proper ventilation. No welcoming staff. Maybe it’s in a class for certain group of people but not me.
Crampy environment.
