Got the last room with two beds, had to change the next day cause the floor was soaked. Staff was helpful and tried to accommodate our needs. Good place for a quick weekend stopover in Dayton. Breakfast is poor though, don’t expect much and ends already at 9.

Driving up on the location made me instantly regret making a reservation. There are apparently two hotels in the same Building, the Wingate and the Baymont. There was no signage on the building and I would have thought it was close if it had not been for people walking in and out of the rooms. My room ended up on the third floor, on to find out they they do not have an elevator to the third floor (Well they do but it was out of order.) The room's curtains did not cover the window, and there was a bright parking lot right outside the window. I was able to maneuver the curtains so they blocked most (like 80%) of the light. In the morning, there no sugar free options for the free breakfast. Just pancakes, muffins, and sugary cereals. Asked if there was any plain oatmeal meal but the answer was no. Ended up going to a Starbucks. I would not suggest this place.

Property was dated and not kept up. Obviously had been a repaired ceiling leak in our room that had never been painted. Hair in shower, no blow dryer, old, old carpet in hallway.

The stay was not at all as the photo appears on the website. The hotel needs a revamp to get updated with today's times. It's an old hotel that looks like a motel once you get inside of it the windows were all dirty they're all molded the hallway to the rooms were dirty with trash was hanging out on the side of the doors and people were running all through the hallways all night like it was a party center. I will never stay in this hotel again and shame on you for putting up a photo that misleads you once you arrive to this hotel / motel. I picked out the rooms for my myself and my cousins who came in from Pittsburgh and they were very ashamed at what we saw. Luckily it was for only 1 night.

Was so disappointed when we first took the elevator, dirty, smeared yuk on the stainless steel,the room as clean, carpet is nasty, toilet seat has something on it, wouldnt come off, holes in the ceiling. Shower had marks going down tge walls, NASTY! Complained, they gave us a different room, woke up to an ANT infestation, just NASTY! I really desrve my money back, i have never had this type of experience in my life!

No water and had to leave and go to a loves and shower. No towels when I went to the front desk and I got sick from food. The manager refused refund. Always there’s record with the water company of it being off. They told everyone that ask that there was a leak. The room had a waste basket with dry vomit in the bottom with trash and mold. Drug addicts running the halls. It smelled of cat pee and dog

It was a quick one night stay. The purpose of our trip was to see the Dayton Air Show. We booked this location last minute because our previous hotel had bugs. Wingate is nice for one night only. They need to do a lot updates. Especially for being on such a busy road(Miller Lane) that has multiple hotels and restaurants around.

I expected a Wyndham hotel to be a Wyndham. This hotel was literally a Motel 6 with a Wyndham sign on it. First two floors all had exterior doors like a motel. Third floor had interior doors but the elevator to get there was outside. One rolling cart to the whole place. Funny smell to the whole place. Run down everything. Zero amenities - even the outdoor pool was closed with no apparent plan to reopen it. Room was semi clean but furniture was cheap and wobbly. Bed was clean and comfortable. That’s literally the only positive thing.

I dont know where to start.... the pictures were decieving. The floor in the bathroom and bath mat were soaking wet when we got there. There was mold in the soap dishes in the tub. Everything just felt dirty. The carpet was worn and ripped when you walk in the room. It looks well worn and put away wet literally.

The rooms were clean and freshly painted. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner quiet. Bathroom roomy with good water pressure. The landscaping was beautiful and emacculate . The only disappointment was the breakfast: no fresh water, no decaf coffee, waffle batter watered down, no eggs or sausage. Counters messy.

We booked because of the star rating; as did several family members at our recommendation. We all were very disappointed with the condition of our rooms. Our bathroom had mold in the light fixture and on the ceiling. Our bed bent up in the middle when you sat on the right side of the bed. The carpet was dirty which became evident when I stepped into the shower showing a lot of dirt in the tub.There are several other issues from family members. No globe on the light in the shower. Hole in the foor near the A/C unit that was covered by the carpet. Evelator walls dirty with a lot of finger prints. The list goes on and on. Not at all pleased with our booking and for that of our family members.

From the outside it fine but the inside. When your shower doesn't drain and the toilet doesn't flush properly, yuck. The beds were okay however i felt itchy after day two. We also had to have the a/c set at 67 or lower just to keep cool or comfortable. Other family that stayed there had similar or worse conditions.

Okay, Expedia, you keep asking me to rate my stay. Here goes. I don't generally post negative reviews, but honestly, it was kind of gross. The room felt clean and the king size bed was awesome and comfortable enough, but only one of my pillowcases was white (the other three were faded and really old-looking), the sheets had stains on them, and the toilet had been replaced, but was installed at an angle. Also, the art in the bathroom still had the four cardboard corners on it like it'd just been bought at Target. :) None of this in and of itself makes it a terrible stay and it was QUIET at night (at least from my room), but it was just kind of weird. And for $150-ish a night, I didn't feel like the value was there.

This place was one of the worst places I've ever stayed! There were holes in the ceilings, cigarette burns on the bed sheet (only 1 single sheet on top of mattress), mold on the base boards, toilets that didn’t flush, showers that didn’t drain, and a really old air filter that made the room smell like mold anytime we turned the AC on
