We stay at bnbs almost exclusively. This was one of our favorite stays. I have no idea why this place has any negative reviews. The pics are there for all to see. It is a small cottage with an attached bathroom. There is plenty of space for a single or couple. It is located in a peaceful settings along the trolley route. We enjoyed this stay so much we would love a repeat stay. I wish we had planned to stay longer.

This was great for a short stay. It was as comfortable as we could make it. Great location to watch the Pony Parade go right by the cottage.

My horse-loving daughter and I spent two nights at this cottage. It is small, but we were mostly out and about seeing the wildlife and enjoying the beach. Everything was very clean. The kitchen is just enough for two, and the essentials were there for us to cook breakfast on the small induction burner (and small pan) I brought and to pack a picnic lunch for our island wanderings. We ate breakfast on the screened in porch, which was lovely. The bed was comfortable to rest in after our long days of activity. The cozy cottage was just what we needed!

Nice cozy cottage in Chincoteague. Small but perfect for 2 people. The town isn’t very large so everything was only a couple minutes drive away. Parking right next to the house. Only has a window AC unit, but it was plenty strong enough. Nice little screened porch for sitting as well.

We were cozy and comfortable during our stay at this cabin. It was clean, quaint and well located for our weekend exploring Assateague.

Accurate listing, small cottage but had everything we needed. We rode the Pony Express one night to dinner which was easy - we picked it up only a few steps from the house. Thanks for a great weekend.

The cabin was nice and updated, its centrally located to all the island has to offer. We enjoyed our stay. However its still low 40s and 50s at night in early May on the coast… and we were freezing the entire weekend. The cabin has no heat, only A/C.. The host said to bring linens / towels. Nothing about a space heater. Luckily, I brought 4-5 thick fleece blankets. We used all of them. There also seems to be a lack of hot water that runs out pretty quickly. The screen in porch was nice but why only a latch to close it from the outside? There is no way to keep the door shut from the inside so unfortunately if you are inside and its windy, you will here the door smack the frame throughout the night. Unsure if we would stay here again.. There are plenty of other options in the area that at least have hot water and heat.

No stove, no place to hang clothes, no linens, bed 32" from kitchen counter, very, very, small, not worth the price. If this shack measures 14' X14' , then I would say it was big. Worst place we ever booked from VRBO. We did not stay there. We went to the Fairfield Marriott.

This was our second time staying here, with our first being during the summer. The cottage is very clean and overall quite pleasant with a location perfect for bicycling into town and to the beach. However, this cottage really needs heat if it is to be rented during the cooler months. The owner did provide a portable heater at our request, which did warm the place, but was very noisy. Would stay again but only in the warmer weather.

My husband and I stayed in this quaint little cottage for 5 nights. It has a really comfortable bed, a good shower, a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Best of all, there is a screened in porch with a swing. The cottage was spotless and provided us a great place to stay for such a reasonable price. Be aware that it is really small. There is no closet. We kept our clothes in our suitcases and our shoes tucked away under the bed. But this was just a small consolation for an overall experience that we greatly enjoyed.

Everything a couple needs for a first visit to the island!

Photos were very accurate and even let us know what equipment we should bring, for our own personal comfort. The place is cozy aka small and very well organized. We could bike everywhere on Chincoteague and Assateague nature reserve from this location. We enjoyed our stay here. We brought a small folding table for porch dining and an electric hotplate. Kitchen has everything else, and we prepared and ate all our meals here.

My partner and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this small cabin. Conveniently located in the middle of town, this place has everything you'd need for a couples or solo getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cottage! The place was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and was much better than staying at a hotel.

Nice little rustic cottage but needs a real kitchen, as it’s not conducive to preparing meals and eating out gets expensive. More chairs inside and a table to eat on outside on the porch would be nice, too. TV had no reception. Better to remove it than frustrate guests trying to use it. Overall clean and cozy but needs a few more amenities if your stay is to be more than just a few days.

This place was everything and more! Quaint, perfect use of space, great location! We loved everything about it! Looking forward to booking another stay.

Great for a weekend getaway! Great use of the space. The suite was very clean, modern and well-updated. Bed was comfortable. Located right off the main road, it's a few minutes from town close to restaurants, ice cream, stores, and more.

The cottage was cozy and was decorated beautifully. The amenities were far more than we expected including dishes, cups, aluminum foil, containers and much more! The bed was comfortable as well. We really enjoyed our weekend and wished we booked more days! We will definitely recommend it to family and friends! (It just needs a small table on the porch for drinks)

Enjoyed bicycling. It was not beach weather. Close to great place for breakfast. Enjoyed seafood on island as well.

Cute cabin with easy access to the island's downtown and the wildlife refuge via car or bike. Small, but cozy and clean. The owner was very helpful with reservation issues (caused by my own carelessness).

What a great place to spend the weekend.
We got there late and left the dome light on in the car. Texted Dylan for help and he came right over to give us a jump. Pretty cool if you ask me. Otherwise, I would of had to wait 2 to 4 hours for Roadside assistance to come. He saved the weekend since we were only going to be there for 2 days.
